Dogs Rule Resort Carrollton, Texas

Not sure where to even start. PLEASE check out the pictures below. I wish I would have read the reviews before I boarded my dog here. Susanne is a pitiful excuse of a business owner. If you want to avoid $550 vet bills, I would HIGHLY recommend you stay far far away from this place. I was called and told my dog was in a group of several dogs that were playing to "rough." Come to find out, after seeing the vet, it was confirmed that this incident involved an actual dog bite. Not sure what kind of "rough" play they allow here but this obviously got out of hand. They can honestly not tell me exactly what happened and the owner Susanne will not call me. She is strictly going through the GM (Elizabeth) to try and bargain not covering the vet bill for me. How nice of them to not charge me the boarding fee! I know one thing, I will never recommend this place to any dog owner and please take this into consideration before boarding your dog here. 10 Staples later and $550 in vet bills, here we are!

My pups Winston and Jack love coming to daycare here. The staff if friendly and attentive. Prices for boarding and daycare packages are reasonable. Another great perk is their live cams. If you want to check in on your pup, they have live cams on their website for viewing.

I have been coming here since my 14 year old Frenchie was born. They are always welcoming, treat the pups as they are there's. Dawn was my 14 year old Frenchies favorite person. Sometimes she would let him come up and sit with her at the desk. I have never had a problem with my 3, even with meds, special diets or disabilities. They are your go to for sure!

While working at this facility I realized while some of the staff really truly loves these animals, some are undertrained and do not put in the effort necessary to responsibly take care of these dogs. The owners are also more concerned with the money they’ll be making from your stay rather than the wellbeing of your dog. On several occasions we had dogs go home ill and were told to tell parents that the animals were just “exhausted.” Dogs would be let in without updated vaccinations. None of the yards have safe fencing and the suites are rusting. This is not an attempt to bash this company but a warning to those who truly love their animal and want the best for them. This place is not safe.

I always to trim my dog when he gets home because they miss a spot

My large dog had problems at another groomer. They tried to groom him while standing on a small table and could not complete his nail trimming. When I talked to Dogs Rule, they told me they groom on the floor whenever they needed to do so. They also have a wonderful daycare with online cameras so you can watch your dog play / interact with the others. They give facility tours as requested. We loved the people and facilities...

From personal experience. Don’t bother with this place. Its run down and unsafe

Save yourself headache and heartache and go else where. We picked up or dogs from being boarded and could tell something was off. One of our dogs was in pain. His hair was all matted and very yellow. He's a very white dog and typically groomed. It seems as if they let him sit in urine and dry in it. He had the biggest hotspot under his tail and near his butt area. That was not there before. He won't eat. We took him to the vet where they told us it was infected. This is so neglectful. We know we're not going to get back a clean dog after boarding, but we most definitely expect our dogs to be taken care of. Dog being picked up all matted with urine and an infection is not that.

My dogs did great by Dogs Rule Resort. They both had issues by other pet hotels and daycare facilities, but it seems this place is the right fit for them. Highly recommend this place to anybody who's dogs are having issues by other facilities.

Love this place for my fur babies

My first visit they turned me away saying they didn't have room for my dog. Never heard of such a thing happening for a doggy daycare. SMH Although disappointed about that I decided to give them another try... then my dog was bitten by another dog so he left with a puncture wound. So it's safe to say this place is not for me or my dog whom I love dearly...A few days later I did receive a call from the owner apologizing about both instances which I really did appreciate and I let her know this....I have not returned since all this...not sure how to feel but nevertheless I am one for giving reviews on my experiences... good, bad or indifferent ????????

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our dog Rocky had a blast. We also love to watch him on the webcam.

We take our dog there 3 days a week for day care. She's always worn out and we know she's in good hands. We don't have to worry about them when boarding. Love this place!

Every time my "little" girl comes home from this place she is exhausted, are really happy, satisfied exhausted.

This is a awesome facility with great people. My dog snowball gets excited to see all his friends and people there.

We loved this location for daycare. The staff were all so nice and welcoming on our first day and made it as easy as possible for us to come by contacting us ahead of time after we had filed out the online form. Our dog had a great afternoon stay and we could check in using their cameras to see what she was up to. Definitely would recommend and will be coming back next time.

Don't take your dog to this place. I dropped my dog as a healthy vibrant dog but when I picked him up, he had fractured paw, torn ligaments and puncture wound.

We're fairly new to this facility, but so far so good! Our puppy comes home TIRED....I love the web cams!!!

We became clients of Dogs Rule Resort in 2015. At the time our Rottweiler Hanno was 4 years old and we had tried other places and even a pet sitter. Now our two 9 month old Rottweilers Gus and Bruiser go and like Hanno they love going and the staff LOVES DOGS. We call Dogs Rule Resort camp and recommend them to everyone we know.

They are friendly people who care about your dog. The online ability to watch your dog gives so much peace of mind
