In 2019-2020 we started boarding our two dogs at Barney's Ranch after our current dog care facility closed after thirteen years and the team at Barney's Ranch made this process seamless. They answered all of our questions and provided us with all of the information we needed. My spouse and I both travel and our travel plans change frequently, but Barney's Ranch does whatever they need to do to accommodate us at any given time. The team is responsive, personable, professional, extremely friendly, and I appreciate all that they have done for us over the years. They are so good to our dogs and our dogs love when they get to play and socialize. We refer our family and friends to Barney's Ranch, and encourage anyone with pets to consider boarding or taking their dogs for a great day of doggy daycare too.

Barney's is always very friendly and good to my doggy for boarding, without making me jump through hoops to get her scheduled like some other businesses have tried to do. Their staff obviously adore the dogs. I like the webcam that I can check in on when we're on a trip, and the dogs are allowed to socialize in the outside common area for no extra charge. The only negative is that the lobby smells pretty bad to me when I drop off and pick up, but hey, it accommodates a lot of dogs so I'll give it a pass.

Barneys Ranch is the BEST boarding/dog daycare place in the city. Never have to worry if they are neglecting or treating them badly. Family owned by dog lovers and all of the staff are so friendly and accommodating. As long as Barneys is open ill never use another daycare/boarder. The webcam is a fantastic addition as well. My Aussie is always excited to go there and loves the staff. If I could rate it higher I would.

My husband and I were very nervous to leave our two dachshunds and Catahoula while we went on vacation, but found Barney’s Ranch and knew they would be just fine! I love that we could watch them on their webcam, and John was fantastic. It’s very evident he loves dogs and his job! This was our first time boarding them and definitely would recommend Barney’s to anyone in the Farmers Branch/Carrollton area. We will be trusting them with our fur babies in the future!

Our two dogs loved this place while we were out of town for a couple of days. They got to hang out with MANY other dogs. They have cameras so you can check in on your pups too.

One word, AMAZING! I never have to worry about Willie. This is a family run business without turnover, that’s important to us! Willie gets to establish relationships with the same staff members every time. He runs in and is so excited to see them, he is so happy that I can go away guilt free knowing Willie is being loved and having fun. The cameras are a huge plus when we are missing Willie. I am embarrassed that I haven’t already left a review. We have been coming to Barney’s regularly for about 6 months and would never think about going anywhere else.

We take our labradoodle Willie to Barney’s. When we go out of town. He loves it so much, he goes crazy when we get near the building. He runs in like a mad man, jumps on the staff, pees all over the place like a drunk frat boy from excitement. I’m a little sad when he just walks in and couldn’t care less I’m leaving. He forgets I have feelings too. I don’t think he even wants to come home. So if you want a place that takes such good care of your dog, it won’t miss you. Take your dog to Barney’s.

This doggie daycare/boarding facility is beyond excellent!!! My pouch loves it so much I sometimes have to drag her out when I pick her up. I also board her 2 to 3 weeks at a time 3 to 4 times a year and they take very good care of her. I check her on the monitor daily and she is always playing and enjoying herself. I started taking her there a year 1/2 ago since I first got her at 5 months old and she loved it since day 1. They take very good care of her. I and my pooch highly recommend it. ????

We boarded our dog here for a long weekend and she had an awesome time! We were able to see her all the time on their live webcam. We did notice while watching the live feed that one of the employees sprayed our dog with the hose to get her to drop something he dropped. This did not sit well with me mostly because of the cold weather. We called and were told he would no longer be working there when we picked our dog up. The manager said the employee overstepped, and was let go. We will feel comfortable boarding our dog here again next time!

Our dogs LOVE it here! Most places I found charge extra for outside play or socializing and it's usually in 1-2hr increments. This place let's your dog(s) play outside with other dogs all day. You can tell they actually care about your animals. My dogs get SO excited when we drop them off and are completely exhausted when we pick them up. Thank you, Barney's!

Great customer service! They know my dogs and treat them like their own. My pups get 8+ hours a day of play time without having to pay extra. I moved further away from Barney's and I still make the extra drive because they treat my pups so well.

Our dog loves her day camp days! The staff is so friendly and we've never had an issue with our dog or others.

Used to work here , owners are disrespectful and don’t treat the animals properly. And treat they’re staff just as bad . No one has worked there longer than a couple months . Everything is always changing w how they treat animals. Very messy inside always bugs in the dog food and around the dogs . Most the dogs are neglected and uncared for .

Hey guys, masks???!!!! Like, so far you’ve been awesome with service and availability, but, like, no one here wears one? Even fellow customers are becoming lax! Guys were not out of the storm yet! Be the bigger person and wear a mask. It’s only for a few minutes while you pick up or drop off your dog. Also Barney’s come on.... you’re dropping the ball here.... :[

Love Barney’s Ranch. We take our two pups there whenever we are going out of town. They are always well loved and as a bonus we get to look in on them through their webcams. Their staff is very friendly and professional. We would definitely recommend.

My dog is still new to Barney’s Ranch but he seems to have a blast and comes home exhausted. BR has amazing/friendly staff and the facility is really nice and spacious. I’m so glad I found this place, especially since the dog parks are currently closed and a leashed walk doesn’t compare to free running/playtime.

My dog stayed there for a week during the Summer. Came back home with an allergy on his eyes. No one told me anything about this issue but he was fine after allergy drops. The second time, he stayed only for one night. When I picked him up the next day, I found all his food in the back. They either never fed him or he was fed someone else's food. When I called, the owners said they will investigate and call me back. Never heard back from them.

Cowboy is worn out when I pick him up from all the play time! He seems to love it!

We really like these guys. We feel our dog is safely watched all day during his day care. They have web cams that we can watch while we're at work. There's always someone supervising the pups, and they keep the play area clean, if you know what I mean.
