Pet Paradise Burleson, Texas

First time there and I won’t be back! I called last week to see about their pricing for my dog, I was told it would be $60 for the weight of my dog and I agreed because that was a good price, I made my appointment to come in for this past Tuesday the 11th. When I dropped off my dog I specifically said why cut I would like and what blade I would like them to use she agreed and said it would be done correctly!! When I went to pick up I was told that it was $108, that is almost $50 more then I was told. I asked why and they said because they start their prices at $80, and my dog was $10 more for being difficult with his paws which I understand. However I was told it would be no more than $60 over the phone and I even verified that two times while I spoke to that same person… on top of the price not being correct they used the wrong blade on my dog and he is completely shaved in the winter!! On top of that he is miserable due to the fact of being cut and I had to take him to the vet and pay vet bills on top of it just because they didn’t care what I was asking of them and obviously rushed through it.. I tried to call and speak with a manager but I got hung up on.. not very good customer service in my opinion and I won’t be taking him back there after he is traumatized and it’s way to expensive.

1st visit went well. Both my babies were given. Bathes and nail trims. Everyone ceas very kind and even said my babies were well behaved (I know they were not lol) going back next month and also getting my parents dogs gromed there

Took my dog Chanel 6 lbs. 6 oz. It was $70 had to call animal control bruises on her I had to get another Groomer. To get the bow out of her hair. Have a appointment with the vet in the morning

This place never answers the phone to be able to book for day care. They tell me well it is busier in the mornings so sometimes we will miss a phone call, understandable, I then a week later in advance for the date I need daycare (Wednesday) I call on a Monday around lunch (no answer) I leave a message. No one calls me back. I call again Tues because I received no call back, and of course they are booked for Wednesday. I mean how do you get in? Call a whole month ahead? I did take my dog for grooming and they did a good job, but good luck if you need day care!

I got my dogs back the same way I left. That's all I require out any caretaker ????

I like their work but I bring my dog in early and my pom is always not done to the of the day .

The owner is top notch. Drop off my dogs and she is very friendly and always listens. However when I picked up my dogs the girl at the front is very rude. I’ve been going for years and always request my dogs face to be shaved. I picked them up today and my male had facial hair that was lightly trimmed and not shaved. The girl at the front desk continued to argue with me. It saddens me that I’m going to look for a new groomer. Very poor quality of help at this facility.

Great staff, my 3 dogs get to stay together but can be fed separately, dogs never stink after leaving (I don't have them bathed before picking up), and they supply bedding so I don't have to take all their beds. I love this place.

This place did a GREAT job on our Maltese ...she came out looking like a supermodel

The employees are friendly but my little boys cut definitely was not a Westie style cut. His face was wayyy off. It was the first time that I had taken him here. I'll give it another chance but I'm definitely showing them a picture. It isn't cheap to get your furbabie groomed... so the groomer needs to get it correct!

Super awesome service and friendly staff! Boarded my cat there for a few days and she had no complaints ????. They require a $50 deposit fee that will go toward the total stay price. It's about $20 a day for cats. A simple no frills boarding system that doesn't include outside time but has daily 30 minute open lounging. There's a vet on-site and the establishment is very clean. Would definitely recommend! I hope in the future they can add a pet photo option to send to the owners during the stay

Always do a great job grooming my pet!

I get my dogs groomed here and I have had them boarded here on several occasions. They are very kind people and the groomer does an outstanding job. My border collie Midnight and collie mix Misty seem to love it here and are never nervous when coming in, unlike when they go to the vet or other places. Nothing but positive things to say and will keep bringing my pets here.

Second time coming here and this place is welcoming! Knows how to deal with dogs that are scared and/or nervous. I recommend this place to anyone with dogs or cats ????

Food was.really good but the service we received was less than terrible. The server never gave us his name. He never came to check on us he never offered us a dessert menu or a refill on our drink. Again the food was good. BUT THE SERVICE SUCKED

Very professional and really cares about the safety of appearance of your pet.

We dropped off our St. Bernard for a 4 day-stay and wanted him to be groomed during his stay but the employee said he was too “aggressive” and was growling but he is a gentle giant and did good with meeting and walking around with the employee at drop-off and showed no aggression. When we picked him up he was being kept in a kennel that wasn’t even big enough for him to turn around in. We specifically asked if they had the facilities to house a dog that big and they said they could do it. He also has been walking with a limp as if his hips hurt and holding his tail weird ever since we got him back. The vet will cost $350 just to check him out and when the manager was told about it they simply told us that she’s “sorry and we will have to keep her posted” but had no answers as to what happened. It also seems like they never let him out of the kennel or outside. This place is HORRIBLE!

This place is a class act. They took our dog in during the power outage this week, while we were without power for four days, and then refused to take any payment. She said we all just have to pitch in where we can. I hope their kindness come back to them multiplied.

We've been going to Pet Paradise for years! These are some of the sweetest folk you've ever met! They care about your Furr-Babies as if they were their own! They have two Cats that normally greet you on the counter & if I had a Cat, I would want one like them. MY FAMILY LOVES PET PARADISE!

Used this place 3 times and my dogs always come out happy! Seems very clean and like they maintain the facilities and grounds very well.

Boarded my dogs 2 different times for a week each. First time I thought it was a fluke that they both came back thin and 1 was aggressive about sharing a bone. Nope! This most recent time they were going to stay 7 days. Had 8 bags of food for each plus treats. Came back 3 days early. Had no food or treats. My older dog lost weight and youger one peed and pooped in my car! Even though they said they let them out. Never again!!

They are very clean and friendly. Will definitely be coming back the next time we go out of town.

We have been coming to Pet Paradise for years with our dogs. They have always taken great care of us and the staff there is the best. I wanted to say a special “Thank You” to Nikki for all that she does for our dogs, my kids and myself. Her personality and kindness are so awesome and we love working with her. My son and I picked up our dogs this morning after being away for a week, and just walking in to Nikki’s smile and hello was very welcoming. Don't submit reviews often. I felt compelled to this time because of the service we received today from Pet Paradise. The service was awesome!! I called not thinking they would see the stray we had picked up from the streets. After her shots and check at another facility we brought her back. I was impressed with how friendly the staff was and upon pick how much better this pup looked. She was covered in fleas and smelled, nails over grown etc. She looks like a different animal than my wife brought home the night before. The price for the was really good I was surprised it was so affordable. If you need grooming this is where you should go. This is where we will take her going forward.

Called here this morning and got my fur baby in this morning. They’re very professional and clean and even called me during the grooming process to see exactly how I wanted him. I will definitely be back!
