Our dog loves coming here! The staff are always great and pick up and drop off is very efficient.

I registered and paid online, discussed everything over the phone, and dropped my beloved pups off at the front gate! Our babies loved it there and looked amazing after being bathed and groomed! Their prices were great! Lisa was awesome, it was close to home! We will absolutely use them again!

My dog has a “Happy tail in and Happy tail out” when he goes here for boarding. I absolutely love that the dogs have big spaces to roam. I was very impressed that even though we do not go there very often anymore, they still remember my dog. He’s a gentle soul, and they love him being there. Boarding is super easy, make a reservation and even get an estimate online of services. They can also do things like baths and nail trims so when you pick up your best friend, they look and smell so nice! Quality products in the lobby are sold, and some dog foods. I bought a leash there in 2017 and 4 years later it still looks great! Some eco friendly products are there as well. Treats from natural sources are available too, like salmon skins. My pup is always excited to get here and always tuckered out when he gets home. Thank you all for taking the best care of my best friend!

This is a place that welcomes you and is friendly. This was our first visit here but definitely not our last! Terrific grooming!!

My fiancé and I have been taking our 3 year old Shih-tzu to Lisa since he was 6 months old!! She was his first groomer and will stay his last groomer!!! Lisa takes videos and pics of our baby and will text them to us before picking him up...this always adds that special touch of reassurance he is in EXCELLENT and LOVING hands!! We HIGHLY recommend Lisa for dog grooming. She is genuine, caring and loving to our baby and we know he is SUPER SAFE with her....that to us is EVERYTHING! Lisa is family in our books!!????

My dog loves them....and they love my dog...enough said! Update: recent change of management has completely changed my opinion of this business and we are no longer using their services.

I have been taking my babies to Lisa for the past 25 years she is amazing with my now Schnauzers Gretchen and Jack and previously with my one and only Mike. Lisa is kind and loving and her grooming skills are exceptional. You can not put a price on trusting your family members will be treated with respect and love.

I have used Onion Creek Kennels for both grooming and boarding for about 2 years now and have never been less than fully satisfied. The girls are so sweet. My puppy absolutely loves them. She looks forward to going. I always pick her up sparkling clean. Reasonably priced as well.

I have been a customer for at least 4 years. Onion Creek Kennels is a fantastic place to board your dogs. Our dogs are always happy to go there, and they return both happy and tired. Oh, and the staff are professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.

Our vet suggested this place to us. Just a nice place. They board both dogs and cats. Also provide grooming and training. My cats had a great time here. The staff is friendly, professional and great with their 4-legged clients. I will return. Thank you.

Would not accept my dog because she's part pit

I will not be going back here. Last time I brought my dog here it cost $42.87 including tax. This time it was $70.36. Price should be discussed beforehand. When I dropped him off I told them what I wanted & they did more than what I asked for. This should have been talked about at or before drop off. When I made the appointment on the phone would have been perfect. There was no apology or remorse for the misunderstanding/miscommunication. I will go to a more reputable & professional place from now on, most likely our vet. I trust them to be kind, they go by appointment, & it costs a little less. Honestly I didn't know the vet offered this service until I read a review here.

Love Love Love OCK! Wonderful staff and owner. My Freddie loves to go there every Thursday for playday. He has the best time. My mom got a gift card for me last month and the sweet girl out front wasnt sure how to make one. . Once they did they hand delivered to my moms house w/o her asking! It was a beautiful card also! They rock and Freddie loves them all! When he gets a grooming he has play day in the morning and then the afternoon is grooming so he is a happy camper!

I came over to Onion Creek Kennels with the change of management and staff a couple of months back. We previously did training and daycare at their other location, Train My Dogs, in Central/South Austin. But we now go to OCK as it has so much space for my 2yr old 85lb Catahoula, Loui, to run around and play. It's also being ran by the same people who have helped me train an extremely anxious and leash reactive dog. To a dog the vet tech wouldn't stop ranting an raving about how well trained he was and that she wanted to give me her dogs to train. (This was in less of a year time span) That was one of the best compliments I've ever gotten, and it's all thanks to the trainers and the staff that are now at OKC. They help enforce the good behavior you are trying implement at home. It's amazing to see how genuinely caring they are not only to Loui and I but to everyone else that comes through the doors. I can't recommend them enough, it's just a group of good loving people.

They do a great job with my labradoodle! I would give them 5 stars but the like others who have complained, I hate that they require you to drop off the dog and keep her in a crate while not even beginning to groom until late afternoon. Surely they could at least bring in the dogs scheduled for afternoon grooms at noon? don't keep the dogs all day for a late afternoon grooming!
