I’ve trusted them with my doggos twice before today and they did a decent job. My only issue before was them consistently not cutting their tails. Today was a different experience and I’m left really disappointed. They did not cut either of my dogs correctly or listen to what I wanted despite confirming how to cut each one twice. They said they did what was on their “notes” but they must have not written those down correctly. Not only am I out the money, but worse, I’m out a groomer I thought I could trust.

This was our first visit and I was very impressed and pleased with the overall experience. Staff was very attentive to our pets, asked great questions to get to know them and offered some possible solutions to skin, ear and coat care.

Friendly staff. I depend very much on their experience in trimming claws of difficult cats. Great job!

They took great care of my dogs, my Pomeranian mix got a great cut for the summer and my Pittie came home all nice, white and smelling great.

They did a great job with our dogs! De-shedding and baths, and the look and smell great. They seem to really care about the dogs and our pups left very happy!

I absolutely LOVE taking our dogs here. We mainly bring our husky Akamaru here for his deshedding every 2 months and they always do an amazing job. Plus he comes home with a big ole smile on his face which let's us know he had a good day at the groomers. We've never had an issue with them and I would highly recommend them.

Very affordable and easy! The guy was very informative. My dog has trouble with having anything trimmed, but the groomer was still able to work with him. Unlike PetSmart who just refunded me and didn't do anything!

I took my 5 month old puppy in for a groom and they did an amazing job!! I had taken him to another groomer in town and was very disappointed. I highly recommend taking your pets here! The price is very reasonable and everyone is so nice and friendly. When we left my puppy kept trying to go back inside so I know they were very sweet to him!!!

Loved the job they did on Chuy!! Super cute & loved that I got a call for an update on how he was! Picked him up & he looked awesome! He was groomed with the traditional Lion Cut but I requested to have it a bit shorter & BOOM! They did it!!! Thank you!!! I absolutely love the staff's positive attitudes & their energy:)

The folks at Barker Street always take exceptional care with my Amstaff. Extremely knowledgeable, gentle, and professional! They really know their stuff and are terrific to work with. I would trust them with my fur baby any time.

I dropped Remi off for her first grooming here and she came out looking exactly what I had asked for. Barker Street specializes in mini schnauzers, so if you have one take yours here! We had a very positive and extremely smooth experience. I plan to continue using their services!

Let me start off by saying WOW. I had looked online for highly rated groomers to take my 11 month old golden retriever. I’m not sure if they have been paying for reviews or what, because I had quite the traumatizing experience. I booked an appointment and told them I wanted a summer cut for my golden and I wanted her tail not to look like a swiffer. Golden retrievers have double coats and should NEVER be shaved as they can no longer regulate their temperature. Well I come to pick her up and she is shaved! I had specifically said summer CUT! Goldens should never ever be shaved at all! Everyone knows this, groomers especially. I was shocked. I was so baffled I had nothing to say, but the man said “give it a few days and it will look better”. Umm there’s no way a bald dog with patchy spots will look better in a few days. I then had to take my dog to the vet because she has no hair and at risk for sunburns. Now I will have to apply sunscreen to my dog every time she goes outside for 3-4 months until it grows back IF it grows back. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to steer clear as they will end up with a butchered dog and additional expenses. Check Yelp to see the hack job they did.

They do an amazing job cutting my yorkie poos hair. However, the first time we took him to Barker Street he developed an ear infection a little less than a week later. We didn't think anything of it because he's a floppy eared dog and has had one before. The most recent time we took him there, he developed a pretty bad cough that spread to my other dog. Because of COVID we haven't been to the park or anywhere else where other dogs socialize which is why we think he picked it up there. The vet thought it was kennel cough (even though he's vaccinated) and it was a hefty vet bill for both of my dogs. I probably will not be taking him or my other dog back for this reason. Developing an infection both times he has come back is seeming less like a coincidence.

I have taken my dog Sophie her twice now and I think this is where she will go for as long as I live in College Station. She needed emergency cleaning (went to training school. They never bathed her. Had knots all over) and Barker Street was able to get Sophie in and get all her knots out WITHOUT having to shave her. She still looked so cute! Also this place has THE BEST prices. I can not believe how nonexpensive this place is compared to petsmart or petco. They take care of dog well. They also have a nice service of pickup/drop off.

After trying multiple groomers in the area, my two year old Aussiedoodle finally looks like she should! They listened to what I wanted and called me to double check the groom before just starting. They were also super helpful in helping educate me about how to better take care of her unique coat-type at home. We love Barker Street!

I absolutely love this place! They got me scheduled quickly and did such a great job! I didn't get a picture of when my puppers first got the cut, but he still looks amazing after 2 weeks! And I love the business name!

Barker Street is a wonderful place. I took my German Shepard here for a deshedding and ther were very friendly and treated my boy like one of their own. I’ve called to different places and they were kinda nervous about having a German Shepard. But with Barker Street they took in my dog without any hesitation. And they did a fantastic job on my boy Jagger. I’ll definitely be coming back here again. Thank you Barker Street.

The courtesy and kindness the employees show is awesome. They are so good to our puppy and treat her with such compassion. Highly recommend this facility for baths, clippings, shaves, and anything else you could need.

I brought my cat Nora here for the first time today. I was so nervous because she had never been to a professional groomer and I didn't know what to expect. I had no idea how she would respond to being groomed and I wanted to make sure that if she was giving a hard time that someone would call me so I could just come get her if it didn't work out. Everyone I spoke with was very kind and professional and answered all of my questions. Nora looked so great when I picked her up, especially her feet and under her tail. They did such a good job, and really worked well with my pet, considering she had never been to the groomer. They were not able to bathe her due to her behavior, but they did give her a sanitary trim (the most important thing she desperately needed), trim up her feet and nails, cleaned her ears and more!! They also charged very reasonably, and she did not appear to be in any distress. I could not be happier with how the whole experience went and I am so glad that Barker Street took such good care of my pet. I would recommend them to anyone for their pet grooming needs. ❤

Got my 6 month old Bernedoodle groomed at Barker Street and the staff is so attentive and caring! Other groomers in College Station seem to have too many dogs at a time, so they spend the majority of their time in kennels. Barker Street, on the other hand, is a small, local business that prioritizes your dog.

Oakley did amazing with our puppy. He told us things we did not know about and more. Best service for sure!
