This shelter is the WORST in the area. They all but make you walk in with your landlord for "approval" of the animal. Regardless of verbal consent, relationship with the owner of the property, they do NOT want these animals adopted. They are also a kill-shelter, do not support them in anyway. If they wanted to be a caring shelter, they shouldn't be a kill shelter and also beg for donations. You would be better off driving a bit to Austin and Houston to the no-kill shelters that seem to care more about the pets than getting money.

This facility is obviously committed to the well being of the animals. They go the extra mile to ensure each animal is played with and taken care of so they each maintains a good level of health and sociability. One of the caretakers, Jordan Merkel made the extra effort to help pair the right personality with me which was an extra step I didn’t really expect. I was looking for a little kitten, which they do not release any cats until they are old enough to spay or neuter, so I did not find what I was looking for, but I was very pleased with the facility, how the animals were kept, and how they were treated. I highly suggest using this facility when looking for a furry companion!

I just adopted my best little friend. She is so fun and we are happy together. The staff is very friendly and the process is smooth.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the animals appeared to be very well-cared for. They have many very sweet pups up for adoption.

To me it was Very Busy (a great thing). The operations seemed very smooth, organized and extremely prompt, helpful! I was in and out in less than 45min. It also was clean 0 offensive odors. All pets had clean well kept kennel's I went out to get one of 2 I liked but both adopted the attendant asked what I was looking for she then took me directly to the 1 and only It was at first sight the most beautiful healthy coat and kitten. She didn't get him out of kennel all the way and I was already in love I kept him name Rambo just happens to be one of my favorite movies and Character!! I think some of us will likely nickname to Bo. I haven't really got to know his personality yet but my guess is he maybe a Rambo??

They helped us take care of our feral cats. Thanks sincerely. No more kittens for us! Loan us cages to bring them in and take them back home. The cats were playing again in less than 24 hours. Dont let your cats reproduce uncontrolled.

I've adopted two dogs and a cat from here, as well as volunteered for a few years...love them and the work they do

Adopted and yo terrier. Staff was more than helpful and stayed late for us. My mom had a new companion. Yay!!

A place that really cares.

Wonderful staff with clean facilities. You can tell every animal is loved and well taken care of!

Great group of people who are doing amazing work. I found some kittens at work that needed immediate attention, and they took care of them. One of the gals was even going to have to take them home to bottle feed them.

My daughter volunteered to work here. The on line training was interesting, informative and easy to watch and learn. The check in was seemless. The facilities look safe and clean. Google maps directions took us right to the location. The fur babies were all well cared for. She had a good experience volunteering people of all ages. She even liked her volunteer ????t shirt ...soft, cute and comfy!

Such friendly staff and they seem to be so caring about their animals. We just adopted there today and are so glad we did!

Staff was incredible. My dog was lost last night and before close that day they had a preliminary listing on their website and i rushed over the next day. The staff helped get my dog back to me quickly and they were very helpful.

Really love how well they treat the animals filling out a application for a new addition for our family.

Wonderful place that seems to take great care of the animals and gives them love until they find their furever home. Not only do they have cats and dogs, but they will also take in rodents and other animals and adopt them out.

Super happy they have programs for the outdoor/feral cats. I had been stressing out seeing so many strays in my neighborhood so being able to take them all at once is truly a blessing. The staff is friendly and very understanding. I work so much so my schedule is super busy but they helped me make it work! The cats and i thank yall!! Especially to Brittany for replying to my questions right away.

Well run, organized and clean. Employees seemed to be very caring. The only downside is their hours of operation. Hours are limited and not conducive to the working person. Even the weekend hours are limited. To me, more open hours equals more adoption
