Very friendly and attentive veterinarian and supportive and caring staff

Dr. Wooding is very friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean and they sanitize weight scales and rooms before another pet uses them. I only wish there was more availability to get an appointment. You may have to wait a month to get an appointment, so not a good place for emergencies. Additional vets are needed.

Great team. Hours are convenient. The office sees pets on Saturday and Sunday. Prices are reasonable. There is a little bit of a wait but it's so worth it!

Went to take my 3 dogs as new patients to get vaccines as a walk in. The entire stay took less than an hr, no appointment required. Staff was very nice, friendly, and quick. Definitely coming back in the future.

We took our fur baby for the first time and omg we loved it! Everyone so nice here and felt very comfortable and welcomed. I would definitely recommend it here. If I could give them 10 million stars I would.

I love this place the prices are not so high like in other places I live in Harlingen and most of the people that I had called for my dogs that were charging me 180 just for a first visit ridiculous so I kept calling around and calling around finally came upon the weekend vet and I just paid $60 for his boosters rabies and dewormer you can’t beat that for 60 bucks thank you weekend vet!!! I loved it I will see you again in two weeks❤️????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

My dog loved Dr. Wooding and all the technicians. They gave him some food while he got his injections, and he didn’t even flinch. Doc is very kind and provides different options. The clinic itself is super clean and doesn’t smell bad like other vet clinics.

If you say no appointment needed for vaccines then be prepared to give vaccines in a timely manner. A 2 hour wait is ridiculous.

Great service, great staff! Will be taking my canine partner back. ---- first-time dog owner and already feel a lot better at providing the proper care for my Lab.

Very Nice Vet that we had and even the crew that she has, great customer service. She was very understanding with our financial status and she give us options from the cheapest to expensive so we can decide. Wonderful service and she saved my cat from dying ????????

Other than prices. They lack the communication with customers, take forever to answer their phone calls, and the appointments aren’t available till October. My dog needs to see a Vet and this is not one professional place. The other high reviews are only because people have gotten their appointments done, but what about people with emergencies and walk-ins. Really unprofessional on my behalf. Letting other Vets know about this.

I’m thankful they have given my dog her vaccinations but the wait time is ridiculous. I waited 3 hours to get my dog 1 shot. And I’ve never even met the actual vet that works there.

Took my cat here and they were super friendly and fast service for her yearly shots .super economical will definitely bring her again moving forward .recommend 100%

Awe vet if needed sometime on emergency do not go to pet doctor 911 even if weekend vet is booked because they will over charge and diagnose your dog wrong and won't talk to u right wait to see country vet in combes better

My grandma took her cat here to have a tooth pulled… the vet assured her he wouldn’t just be sitting there she took him in at 8 am and the vet said he’d be out by 11… my grandma was calling and calling she went at 4pm to pick him up and they said they had barely put him under anesthesia… they overdosed him and he almost drowned in his own water dish he couldn’t walk or anything she took him to another vet in mission they said the vet gave her cat too much anesthesia and shouldn’t have let him go home like that

The staff is friendly and Dr. Woodling is compassionate and great.

Even if your dog is severly injured or dying they won't take them in, unless you have an appointment. They rather have them die.

No vet appt to see my sick dog until August.

Can't get my cat with a uti in in over a week. They keep pushing ppl to other vet services. My cat may die and they don't care!

I just moved to the area. My dog is sick and my neighbors all told me that weekend vet takes walk ins first thing in the morning if you get there very early and are first in line. I got there at 7AM. They open at 10AM. I was first in line by hours. My dog had just finished a course of medications from the emergency vet in McAllen and is violently vomiting and now has diarrhea. They took my info at 10 when they opened -acted like they would see us then walked to my car window once I returned to my car like they requested and said "sorry we aren't taking walk ins today" I said "it's an emergency" they said "no, sorry. Try McAllen" this is insane. The actual reverse of triage. There were a ton of animals there for regular checkups and vaccine appts. They did not HAVE to be seen in an emergent nature. These "vets" should be ashamed. Where I'm from this is NOT a thing- nobody struggles to get emergency care and this valley seems to not understand how to provide emergency care to the patients that actually need it.

Very professional and lots of knowledge on pets.. plus they remember my dog Budweiser.

Both me and my grandma take our pets here. They're so polite, friendly, and trustworthy.

Great place but it's very busy. 1 month wait for an appointment when I went by there around 6/2/21.
