We were visiting Boerne and needed a place to board our dog for the day while we went zip lining. Within 20 minutes of dropping him off we got a call from the pet resort that our dog ripped his nail off and was bleeding and needed to go to the vet. The pet resort took care of the vet bill, but how does this happen. Glad they took care of the vet bill. With that said hard to give them a 4 or 5 star rating.

We haven't boarded any of our pets here yet. We did tour the facility. It is very clean and the staff is friendly.

We have had all 3 of our dogs here on 3 different occasions. Every time we have had doggy day care included with their stay. #1 customer service is completely non existent. No, "welcome to Wagmore", no, " good morning, thanks for the $600. The female that seems to be running the place will hardly look up from the computer to speak to you. Much less greet you like a professional in the pet hospitality business, putting you at ease about leaving your dogs in their care. #2. Out of the 3 times, with our 3 dogs, we have never seen a picture of a single one of them on the website, not even an ear or a tail on the edge of a picture. With Doggy Day Care, they are supposed to be outside more than inside. Yet there's several pictures of the same 4 dogs.I'm not saying these are all employee owed dogs, but employees do bring their multiple dogs to work with them. Truth is, there's no way to know for sure if your dogs get any outside time at all. I realize there is a photo shoot you can pay for, to have pictures of your dogs. I don't need a photo shoot. One picture, of one dog,, out of 5 days would go a long way in making us feel better about leaving our loved ones in Wagmores care.. Which brings me to.... #3 When we got our girls home,, the youngest had 7 dime size sores on her chest, stomach and leg. Our Vet said it was possibly due to staying in an unclean environment for an extended period of time. Full disclosure, she does have sensitive skin, but at almost 3 years old,, she has never had these sores before. The lack of professionalism alone is enough for us to have no more interactions with Wagmore. Even without suspected neglect. Board here with caution.... if at all.

Lovely building, very polite and decent quality service, but very very expensive. Watch out for the $20 per dog fee for pickup after 4pm if they stay overnight (great for school teachers, not so much for everyone else). Why they chose to do this is beyond me. The amount I paid for 2 nights and a wash for two dogs was over $300.

So happy I trusted Wagmore with my Bailey for a few days. I was so sad to drop her off and leave her but I was pleasantly surprised on Christmas Day to get a photo of her with Santa. She was happy and wagging her tail when I picked her up yesterday and I will use them again if I ever need to board her again.

I was so satisfied with my experience at Wagmore. I brought in my dog Pancake for a bath and a nail trim. He is pretty difficult and they were able to trim his nails (the last 4 visits to Lucy's they haven't been able to). I'm so happy to have someone I can count on to take care of my dog!

Wonderful place to bring my dog she loves it here , great environment its so clean the trainer n groomers are great here . Wonderful staff will continue to a part of Wagmore Pet Resort . I do recommend James Perez he is awesome with all the dogs there , he is presently training my dog she loves him , she has learn so much very impressed with this young man. Thank you, James P.

The staff appeared conscientious & professional. Our pup seemed only slightly over-excitable when we got home, which tells me she was in a calmer environment than other daycares we have tried in San Antonio. We will use them again.

Absolutely love Wagmore! The staff have been nothing but friendly, accommodating and patient with my two girls. They are only about 30 pounds each but are very high energy and can be a handful. I have utilized Wagmore for daycare and boarding services and I can always know that they make sure that not only are my girls comfortable and having fun but the other dogs as well. The attached photo is the current situation after a full day of daycare at Wagmore!

UPDATE (since response from owner): No surprise- you are blaming the customer, instead of taking any responsibility. When a new client comes, you should inform them of your policies regarding gathering their things, and that was never done. I called your business today to give you another chance, and figured, perhaps it was bad staff or a bad day, but needless to say- we don't need your services and won't be back. We have another resort we are happy with- as they only treat the dogs like "dogs". It seems you have a fair number of negative reviews- and from what I have heard, I am quite certain I am not the only person dissatisfied with your practices. Don't use this place. They are careless and not a good facility. They neglected to give our caretaker our animals things and food when he picked her up. Big problem, as we had to feed the dog, so we were then forced to drive all the way back and get the items. When we called to inquire about the incident, the phone staff was careless, and then the manager Scott acted as if it was no big deal, and didn't even apologize for their mistake. We were first time clients...and this is how we are treated??? Today, I called to make another reservation at the resort, and was lied to, being told that there was no space open. When I pushed and asked how that could be- Scott then got on the phone and told me we had been "black-balled" because of the "interaction". So- let me get this straight- you guys mess up, and then you don't like it when we call you to talk about it?? We weren't rude, we didn't curse?? So your customer are not allowed to provide feedback? OK- Scott, that's great customer service. We used another boarder since using you, and they were far more competent anyways...we will just continue to give them TONS of business as we are gone a lot. I recommend Hill Country Pet resort- their prices are WAY better, and they are a better business in general. Should have know not to give this business another chance.

I dropped my two cats off at Wagmore on the recommendation of two friends who board their dogs there. Right away I noticed that the facility was clean and the staff very friendly. I was aware they open from 4-6 PM on Sundays which allowed me the opportunity to pick my cats up and not pay for an extra night. Or so I thought. I think there is an opportunity here to ensure that customers understand regardless of whether they pick their pets up on Sunday or not, they are charged another night. I budget closely for boarding while on travel and this would have been helpful to know beforehand. Therefore my rating...

James is a close friend of mine who has come to visit me and my dogs from out of state. One of my dogs is very anxious, under socialized, and can show signs of aggression when uncomfortable around unknown/new people. During his visit he showed understanding of the situation, professionalism and care, and before leaving from his stay, she was comfortable being around him and he was even able to pet her. Had is stay been for a longer period of time, I'm confident he would have been able to work with her further and make improvements. I'm glad he's working at this pet resort and I'm confident he will excel training dogs in the future.
