I have worked with Sit Means Sit at another location and had a good experience; however, my experience in Waco has not been as good. When discussing on the phone, I was only given 1 option, board and train. The minimum price I was quoted over the phone was $1500, but I had to have a consultation first. I ended up booking the free consultation which was over a month away. Then day of the consultation, I was called because they wanted to cancel because of weather. In Waco, they only work in Cameron Park because they do not actually have a facility in Waco. I was given the choice to rebook another in person consultation which would be over 2 weeks away or do one on zoom. How are you going to get a good feeling from Zoom on what my issues are? My dog and most other dogs are not going to be able to show the behavior that is the problem on a zoom call. I believe those in Waco get substandard service because the franchisee bought the area and does not have a facility here and brings trainers in from Belton, Temple, and Killeen. This is a larger area. If you want to do business in the area actually make the investment in the area or let someone else do it. If you were actually in the area, there would be more options than just board and train like the Houston location has.

I was struggling with my puppy Shadow. I've always had a dog but this was the first time I couldn't get a handle on behavior and growing pains. I just needed some support and some tools to use. This training was the best for both me and Shadow. He is a lot calmer and follows instructions for the most part. Of course he's still learning be here realizes now that he's not the one in charge. My mom is even more pleased with his improvement, he's still biting and nipping but we're still working that out. I highly recommend Sit Means Sit for puppy training.

My first dog experience was not at all what I expected. Bewildered, I think I even stated out loud, "Why would anyone ever think a puppy is a good idea!?!" My little ball of energy was a whirlwind of chaos and teeth, and I needed someone with experience to help guide us through the process. During my initial consultation, the trainer showed me the different levels of testing. I laughed when saw what was required for the gold level test. Taylor assured me that my dog would be able to get there with some work. Well, she was right, and I am thankful for the advice and consistency SMS has brought for my dog's continued good behavior. I am very grateful for the staff and group classes, and know that the "good dog" I have today would not have been possible without their patience and help.

I have learned so much over the past 7 months at Sit Means Sit. Robin and all the trainers here have all been a fantastic help with my two dogs, and the sky really is the limit with their methods. Definitely worth learning from them! It has improved my and my dogs’ lives tremendously!

At first, as many probably were. I was nervous and hesitant. I was told that sending your dog to dog training would change their behavior and it made me not want to even more. After 3-4 months in I actually believe it brings out more of your dogs character. This has been the best investment i have ever made. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive, they have true love and passion for what they do its all very genuine. MASSIVE SHOUTOUT TO TAYLOR AUSTON. Literally the best there is. I did a 10 day boarding and i think i had more separation anxiety then my dog did lol. But Taylor took very well care of my dog and it shows. I highly highly highly recommend you making the full investment into Sit Means Sit and requesting for Taylor. They will ALL take care of you. Thank you.

My puppy started class at 5 months old and has been going to SMS for 5 months now. He started off in beginner basics and is now in advanced class after passing the test. The group classes are an enriching, challenging experience for my dog and he enjoys going to school. I feel that SMS has prepared us well for our upcoming CGC test. Staff are professional and give me good pointers on training.

I have not used their services yet, but I sent out a request for information, and Emily called me back very quickly. She was very informative, and seemed to be following a methodology to determine the cause of suddenly different behavior in my dog. She seemed legitimately concerned about the situation, and chose to give me information that seemed best for my dog even though I have not yet given them money. If I need training services, I will definitely be in touch with them.

One of the goals we had when starting training was to be able to vacuum without locking Sophia in the crate or taking her outside since she used to pee every time I turned on the vacuum ???? At the beginning of training Taylor gave me tips to get her used to it- starting with just letting her sniff it, then turning it on without moving it, and so on. It has been a slow but steady process but now she never pees, stays on place, and even lays down and relaxes a little! This is just one of the many many many reasons why I would recommend them as trainers. They have truly gone above and beyond what I ever thought was possible with dog training!

1-month into dog training, and I cannot believe how much progress our little chihuahuas have made. I’ll be honest—I was skeptical at first because our pups are a few years old. But seriously, the difference is like night and day! Both pups have made great strides with basic obedience. No more begging for food at dinner time, no jumping on the toddler, no yapping! I highly recommend Sit Means Sit dog training.

This company COMPLETELY CHANGED OUR APPOINTMENT WITHOUT CALLING to ask if it was ok and SIMPLY SENT AN EMAIL. NO BUSINESS should be run like this. They then ASSUME people get the email. They confirm the appointment WITHOUT MAKING SURE WE WERE AWARE OF THE CHANGE. We WILL NOT be taking ANY ANIMAL here or recommending this company.

This is the best dog training I have ever seen. They know every dog is different and tailor the classes to meet every dog. Our Max has come so far since starting in September and I cant thank the staff enough. They truly love what they do and it shows. They treat every dog and owner with love and care.

I am so impressed with Sit Means Sit. After just a few training sessions my German Shepherd is a different dog. Robin did an excellent job with the 1:1 training the first week he started. She also was helpful on ideas about how to care for Maverick since I was only use to small dogs. I wish I could give more stars. On a scale of 1 to 10, they are above a 10. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Not only did my rescue, Tech (a lab mix), and I benefit from Sit Means Sit; while I was dogsitting my son's rescue, Jade (a mastiff mix), I took advantage of the training while my son played football for UCLA. Sarah's one-on-one training got us started, and the classes were outstanding. Tech zoomed through beginners, onto intermediate. Jade took a little longer in beginner with her somewhat defiant, "I'm tired" attitude. Sarah, Taylor, Robin and Kabri are wonderful, and really take the time to target the behaviors and needs of each dog and owner. I love that I can take two big dogs out and let them go off leash when we go to open fields and on hikes around the lake. No more tugging on leashes, or taking off while I lock the front door. I love how happy they get when they know it is walk and run time! Thanks, Sit Means Sit!

Love being a part of this. We had so many problems with our German Shepherd when we started and are so thankful for the training. We can finally walk him and enjoy him. Thank you Robin and Taylor.

My dog has gone from practically dragging me whenever we walk and bolting any time she got out of hand to walking next to me and staying within 5 feet when she is loose next to me. She is learning the rest of her basic commands along with several good manners. The Trainers have become such a part of our life I can't imagine when the time comes to not be in training.
