Dr. Kim Simpson is an Angel from God here to assist these babies beyond their pain to the Rainbow Bridge. This is the 3rd time I’ve called her. Such a stress free transition in their own home, surrounded by familiar family and things. She’s compassionate to not only your baby but you as well. It’s the best this difficult time can be.

Paws at Peace were very conforting about my pet. Cremation was quicker than expected. Came very delicately packaged. More than met my expections. I was happy with the results.

I am very grateful for dr Simpson. On one of my saddest days, dr Simpson came over to my house so that I could say goodbye to my baby girl in a place where my dog felt at ease. After my dog had passed, she gave us time to say our final goodbye. I am thankful for dr Simpson for giving me those last moments with my Marley.

Sadly we had to use this service after losing our beautiful boy Stanley. An emotionally difficult time made easier with Paws at Peace. Fast efficient communication before, during and after his passing. The day they picked him up they were on time, but the most beautiful part was the empathy and the care they gave to us but most importanly also to Stanley. The time from pick up and us recieving his ashes was less than 24 hours .... amazing. Thank you

Dr. Simpson was more than I could have hoped for. She genuinely cared for us and our Evangeline. She made Evangeline’s passing peaceful, she was able lay in her favorite spot with her favorite person. Our grieving doesn’t feel as heavy because of Evangeline’s easy peaceful passing. I’m so thankful for our experience.

Dr. Simpson is just wonderful! She is highly skilled, has a heart for her work and was a tremendous help and comforting presence at the end of Maverick's life. Thank you Dr. Simpson for making this process so comfortable for Maverick and for us as a family.

We called in advance to see covid rules, they asked us to call when in parking lot.. when we called we told the attendant my dog was not able to breathe and needed to bring him inside now..they said wait on parking lot.. I gave my dog mouth to mouth w/modified breathing cup..for 38min.. then he bled out and died in my arms on the parking lot.. even though I knew my beloved friend was dieing I went there to help him ease the pain..instead he suffered thru his last breath and felt his last heart beat.. while he looked at me.. extremely hearting to see a loved one die when there is help so close.. all I wanted for them was to ease his pain.. and yet I ..my wife had to watch him. . They did come out and gave thier condolences..and a card which is much appreciated..

It was super easy to communicate and make an appointment with Kim. She had an appointment available the very next day. When it came time for me to say goodbye to my sweet Max, she was very good to explain the process and put us at ease. She was very kind, respectful, and gave us our space to say goodbye. Thankful to have this option in the comfort of our home.

Thank you to Dr. Kim Simpson for a peaceful in home euthanasia for our golden doodle Oscar and handling his cremation arrangement. It was our first pet euthanasia and was thankful we found Dr. Simpson because she handled everything calmly and compassionately. It would have been a lot more stressful and emotional if we opted for euthanasia at the Vet's office because Oscar had hip dysplasia and spine spondylosis. Carrying him in and out of the car would have caused him a lot of pain. He was relaxed at home, took a nap before Dr. Simpson's arrival and even greeted her. Thank you for the paw print and fur keepsake, the meaningful notes made me cry again. Thank you for helping Oscar transition in peace at home with his family next to him.

They made our experience bearable. Kind caring and compassionate. We are so glad to have this service available. Our beloved Kara was able to spend her last moments with the whole family in surroundings she was comfortable in.

Kim was amazing helping me take care of my Lucy girl in the final months of her life. Saying goodbye was the hardest thing I have ever done but Kim made it a beautiful experience. We said goodbye to my baby of 18 years with my children present, in the back yard with music playing and the wind blowing. Kim explained everything to my kids so it wasn't scary or overwhelming. I simply can't thank her or recommend her enough. Kim is an angel and does her job with grace and love.

When our 11 year old Great Dane, Tiberius, couldn't walk one morning, our vet told us it was time to let him go. Bringing him up to the clinic again wasn't really an option at his size. It was too stressful for him. Most of the vets in the area (including our own) were no longer doing house calls due to the pandemic. We contacted Dr. Simpson from Paws at Peace that evening. She came out to our house the very next morning. As a child of a veterinarian (he passed away several years ago), it is so hard not to have my father helping in moments like this anymore. It makes things twice as stressful because I am reminded of an old loss while experiencing a new loss. However, Dr. Simpson is wonderful. She gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. She was very comforting, professional, and punctual. Tiberius was able to go peacefully, under our beautiful oak trees, surrounded by people he loves. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs to say goodbye to a pet and wants to do it in a setting your pet is familiar with. She even sent home a paw print and some hair clippings with his ashes. That was such a thoughtful surprise. We are so grateful to her.

Very hard to get our 130 pound old dog to the vet. Dr. Simpson came out to our house twice. The second time was to transition him to doggie heaven. It made things so much easier and more peaceful . Keep doing what you do Doc and thank you.

Kim is wonderful. She can travel to you if you have a special needs pet and she will mail you their meds. I credit her with extending, and increasing the quality of, the life of my Dane by 2 years.

Dr. Simpson has given us more time with our sweet girl at home. With aging dogs making decisions about what to do next is so hard.. We initially contacted Dr. Simpson for an evaluation of our Merci because I wasn't sure if it wasn't time to say good-bye or if there were reasonable options available that could improve her quality of life and give us some more time with her. Dr. Simpson responded very quickly to my inquiry and was able to schedule a time to come to our house. Her examination was thorough and her plan for Merci was reasonable. We've been gifted so far an additional 10 months and I know when the time comes to say good-bye Dr. Simpson will help us navigate the path before us. Thank you for what you do Dr. Simpson. You are a hero to us.

When it came time to make the heartbreaking choice to out my kitty down, I didn't want to take him into a vet. He had been sick for a few months and the trips to the vet were very distressing for him. The last thing I wanted was for him to be scared or upset in his final moments. That's when I found paws at peace. Because it was during the covid-19 pandemic I wasn't sure that I would receive a response or if they would be able to help but Sabrina responded very quickly to me and was compassionate towards my situation. She and her husband Alex were incredibly respectful, compassionate and were a calming presence during the whole process. They provided all the information I would need and answered all my questions. They were gentle with my kitty and really had an understanding of my feelings. I could not recommend them more if I tried. They were so fabulous in a terrible moment in my life and took away my baby in the sweetest and most respectful way possible. Thank you Alex and Sabrina for what you do.

My experience with Dr. Kim Simpson was as wonderful as it could be, in light of the fact that our precious Tara, my four-legged daughter of 14 years was terminally ill and we were saying goodbye. Dr. Simpson came to our home about 6 weeks before to assess Tara and she received a full exam. Tara responded almost immediately to the steroid and pain medications that Dr. Simpson prescribed, as well as some homeopathic suggestions for her tummy and overall health. At her advanced age, however, she deteriorated quickly the last week and I made arrangements for my children to be home to say goodbye. Dr. Simpson couldn't have been more professional. She was quiet, gentle, allowed us to have her on our laps as we huddled on the couch together. She encouraged us to tell her how much we loved her, how thankful we were for her protection all these years. She received two injections. The first one completely sedated her and I watched her face smooth out as the pain she was in was finally gone. When we were ready, Dr. Simpson very gently administered the final injection and said a prayer over her. It was touching for us, and now, 4 months later as I type this, I am again moved to tears. She allowed us time to hold Tara for as long as we needed, then she and my son together carried her outside on a handled gurney and placed her gently in a bed in her vehicle. Dr. Simpson covered her body but left her face uncovered, and it was as if she was sleeping. We said our final goodbyes and it was done. I'm so grateful to Dr. Simpson for her care and concern, both while she was treating Tara in her old age and illness, and as she helped us help her in such a dignified and caring manner. This has to be such a difficult area of medical care, and she handled herself professionally with grace and compassion. Thank you so much, Dr. Simpson!

Sorry to say, our experience wasn't a good one. The vet didn't give him enough of the "tiny little shot" to sedate him and the tiny little shot did hurt enough to make him cry out and he attempted to jump away from us. So he had another injection with a large gauge needle that I was able to see and am not surprised that it was painful for him. Then she blew the vein on the first of two injections of the final solution to stop the heart. We were not prepared or informed of what to expect. I did tell her that we just wanted it to be as natural as possible with him sitting in our lap. She was hurried and wanted to start the injections as soon as she got here. She was here for a maximum of 20 minutes. I would not recommend this vet for cats.

Dr. Kim made a horrible day bearable. When we had to put down our beloved dog, who was a part of our family for 14 years, Dr. Kim came to our house, put everyone at ease, explained everything that would happen and let us take as much time as we needed. She had a blessing ready and took impressions of Tara's paws.

Yet again, Dr. Kim Simpson shows her love and caring to me and my family with our fur-babies. I can't recommend Dr. Kim enough for the December of your pet's life. With the onset of the grief in knowing that the end of a beloved pet's life is coming, Dr. Kim is there to walk each and every family through their options, taking great care to educate on the disease progression as well as the emotional journey. She is truly a blessing for any pet lover! Thank you, Dr. Kim!

When it came time to send our cat over the rainbow bridge Kim's name was brought up. She was excellent in everything! We later got another fur baby whom Kim took care of. We trust her implicitly and wouldn't hesitate for a second in recommending her to our friends.

Dr. Simpson was the sweetest, kindest, most compassionate person we could have asked for at one of the hardest times in our life. I pray God blesses her for the work she does helping the whole family through the process. It still brings me to tears a year later just thinking about the prayer she said when I couldn't even speak. She was definetly a blessing!
