In response to the comments in this review forum, I also had a negative and hurtful experience involving injuries to my pet while under the "care" of this pet resort. Tarrant County Case # JP03-19-SC00024258

This place is wonderful because there are no kennels there are runs but no kennels the dogs get to play with each other they interact with each other they have fun with each other the staff is properly trained to deal with any troubles with the dogs they get to go outside and play together the staff plays with the dogs plays ball they get to play in the pool the dogs are very very happy at this place the staff is very happy at this place it's teen oriented management is so amazing I would take my dog to this place any day Camp Bedford is a wonderful wonderful place to take your dog

UPDATE: Just returned from 10 day vacation and my now 13 yr old Lab was just fine. Pictures and updates came daily and all Maintenace meds were given. Great Staff and facility. I have no worries boarding my 11 yr old lab here. I often get text picture as an update.

Camp Bedford is easily the best value in the HEB area (believe me, I checked!)

Extremely friendly people and awesome with dogs

Our two very spoiled dachshunds do well at CBPR. One is older and gets the isolated downtime she needs. The other gets to do the socializing and time with her sister, as well. We get pictures while we are away. When we return from a trip to pick them up, they are certainly glad to see us and go home, but they are not distressed like they have been when they have stayed with other providers. I feel comfortable with them at Camp Bedford; and so do they.

Bolt has a good time with other dogs.

Camp Bedford is amazing! They always send me pictures of my dog every day he is there; it puts me at ease to know he is having fun! My dog is always SO happy when we get there that he just leaves me to go play!

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They had my pup, Penelope, in and out in no time and she looked great!

We dropped our dog off for the weekend (3 days) and it was not a good experience. Each picture update they sent he looked nervous or apprehensive. He came back with a scratch on his belly/inner thigh, and he has been sad, lethargic, depressed, and moping around all day. He also has a horse voice, lost his bark, and drank a ton of water when get got home. This is not like him, he is normally very loving, friendly, and upbeat. We have concerns and wont be using their services again.

We love this place! My dogs have a great time when the go and they send pictures whenever we board them. The staff is so friendly and have a great grooming programs but it's always booked out too far.

My dog caught canine influenza at Camp Bedford. I called the owner to explain the situation. He would not guarantee me that he would proper cleaning and disinfecting protocols to prevent other pets from getting it. He came across as uncaring. Mu dog is hospitalized. She is very. My main concern is preventing other pet's from getting ill. Apparently, other pets and their owners have had similar experiences at Camp Bedford. The people running it do not understand canine infectious diseases, how they are spread, incubation periods and how to prevent them. We will not return. I will make sure to share with others about our experience. It is is not about the vet bills. The owner kept arguing with me tht he was not responsible for the vet bills. I did not ask him to pay for the bill one time. I only wanted to know how he was going to clean the facility. However, most reputable companies do cover the vet bills when animals become sick at their facility.

Nice people seem to care about the pets and how they interact with them. I trust them.

Got little Todd groomed today and they did amazing! The process was fast and easy! Will be coming back here!

I was so upset after picking up my puppies yesterday . This is my second time at this business to get my dogs groomed . First time they were shaved so far down that I couldn’t even recognize them or take them outside since it was during colder weather. When I picked them up I advise the groomer that I did not like their haircut please do not ever get them like that again. She tried to tell me they were matted so she had to so I said okay I understood that . But Fast forward to yesterday 4/13/21 this time I brought a picture to show what I wanted. Reminded her of the shave she did previously and advised please don’t do not shave them . This time I made sure they were not matted and I brushed them everyday, so that would not be an excuse at all. I tried to put my faith in the groomer that this time things would come out differently and she wouldn’t give them a bad cut . The lady was very friendly and said okay I will do the cut you want and not shave them. To my surprise I picked up my babies and they were shaved again . I was so upset and told her I didn’t like their cut and she shaved them after I told her not to . I had to really pull myself together so I wouldn’t be disrespectful and cause a scene Of course all she can say is sorry and she tried to do the cut that I wanted. I’m very disappointed she could of told me she just couldn’t do it , so I could of taken them to somewhere else . I really wanted to trust this company and give them another opportunity to get it right . Never again ! I should of went with my gut after they showed me their work the first time. I gave them the stars because they were nice just to work is very poor in my opinion, if I wanted them shaved I would of shaved them myself and they are both yorkies ????????‍♀️

My dog, Stella loves Camp Bedford Pet Resort. It's definately her home away frome home. Stella loves everyone there and they love her. I trust Camp Bedford to care for my baby girl. Stella loves Nichol who bathes and loves her. Thank all of you for sharing your love to Stella.

We have a 3 year old Belgian Malinois and we only take her to Camp Bedford! She always has a great time and we love that they send us a picture of her every day when we're away on vacation...let's us continue having fun when we know our sweet Faye is in good hands! Thank you, Camp Bedford!!

Great place, my 14 year old lad has spent many night there and gets a bath once a week. The owners and employees are top notch!!!!!!

This was my first time visit and it was great! Honey looks great and she really loved the staff. The place is very clean, friendly staff and great communication. Will definitely take her again!

My pup loves this place. It’s the only place he likes being left. They see him and greet him my name and he recognizes each handler. Great spot for my pup! And the groomers did a fantastic job. This is our new one stop shop for boarding and grooming!

I had my schnauzer mix groomed today and he looks amazing. Love the staff and value

Great place. But they didn't listen to what I said about the slip collar. I was not happy with that!!!!!

Camp Bedford always took care of our Boy when he was there, he always looked great when we picked him up and I was impressed to receive text pictures of him looking happy while we were away. Our little man passed away a few months ago, and we were pleasantly emotional to receive a card from Camp Bedford offering condolences when they found out some time later.... Highly recommended, your loved one can be trusted in their care.

Good overall price. They did great for the parts they finished. But they didn’t finish. Still had plenty of hair on my dog that needed cut and they claimed that my dog wouldn’t let them and that I need to bring him back and pay the full price a 2nd time... this is the only groomers that my dog “didn’t let them finish”

1st time visit to have our labradoodle groomed at this groomer. I thought it was hilarious to see our big fluffy dog in with all the smaller dogs, but everyone seemed to be getting along just fine. After all, he does think he is a lap dog!

Dropped dog off for grooming. Excitement of meeting fellow animal lovers disappeared on pick up. Which was a text 20 min later she was ready and in heat. I questioned it because I have thoroughly looked her over since getting Monday her and tummy rubs, but hey she could have just started. Took towel off she was wrapped in checked her as I was walking out and saw the dime size gash in her inner thigh. Was told at that point it was already there and to super glue my dog. Owner didn't offer to make right, as now tomorrow morning she has to go back to the vet for staples. 1. Apologize and Own it. 2. I'm human and can accept an apology and honestly not charging me so I can put it towards the vet. 3. Don't try to lie to people that have worked in vet medicine and know what they are looking at!

Amazing groomer, staff, and service! The dogs get tons of playtime inside and outside, and are always supervised. They’re not one of those places that keeps your dog in a cage all day long. The pricing is great and they even send photos of your dog while in their care! You can trust Camp Bedford with your fur babies as they treat them as their own. I really did want to support a local Bedford business, but they have some serious listening issues. Most recently I dropped off my two dogs for a haircut, the same service I've gotten at least twice for a total of $65. Today I said I wanted the standard grooming and when I arrived to pick them up I found out they gave my dogs the full spa service. I never stated I wanted the full spa service. Not once. You can imagine my surprise when I arrived to pick up my dogs expecting to pay $65 and being charged double. When I told them what service I had wanted they told me they "went off their card" and didn't have a way to see what service my dogs had gotten previously. Most insultingly, they tried to explain their full spa prices to me, as if the issue was one that I didn't understand the prices. I understand the pricing model just fine, I just never asked for the full spa services. I hope it was worth it because I'm not coming back.

Read below. This situation did happen and the owner did absolutely nothing. Horrible service. I will be spreading this story to news outlets and other social media sites until the owner makes this right. People trust their animals to this business’ care for good, loving service, not to have their fur babies butchered. Let’s see what channel 5 has to say and if they think this might be a news worthy story. Guess we shall find out.
