Called to ask for an appointment, says they weren't accepting new patients. I asked for clarification if they had any appointments and she just says they have 1 doctor so not taking new patients, not that they didn't have any appointments. Reevaluate your priorities as a veterinary clinic, or close your doors completely.

Called to try to get a vet to see a sick mother cat and her kitten that was sneezing a lot. Person that answered the phone asked if I was an existing patient. When I told her I was not, she informed me that they were not taking any new patients. I guess they didn’t care about new patients. We have been using another vet across town, but after moving to Baytown, we wanted to find a veterinarian here close. I guess it will not be them.

So sweet with my Lola girl. Miss thang gets a little nervous and just needs to see her momma, and they recognized that and made sure she could. Every single person in this office is so kind. Recommend them to anyone!

Great experience for our new puppy! Greeted upon arrival, things explained thoroughly, gentle with puppy, and was reasonably priced. Thanks to Archer Road Animal Hospital for a great first visit to the vet for our sweet girl!

My experience with Dr. Blessman has been nothing but outstanding. I have followed Dr. Blessman to multiple locations throughout the Greater Houston area. My babies have always received the most professional, compassionate, and caring service from a talented veterinarian. Although we no longer are seeing her, I would say by far, she is the best veterinarian we have ever found. I hope one day we can return so I do not have to question every action of my new veterinarian. I would vote Dr. Blessman as the best veterinarian in the greater Houston area!

I have been going to Archer Rd Animal Hospital with family pets since I was a kid. Now that I have my own fur babies, I always know I can trust the staff here to take great care of them! They always make sure the appointments are not rushed, all of my questions are answered (even the small or silly ones!) and they really pay attention to my dogs and check them all over. They have helped me find reasonable places for special surgeries and took a lot of time talking to me about the breed-specific characteristics of a puppy I got recently. They always provide and explain different options, not like some places that may try to push services on you. The staff has always made me feel very comfortable with every choice I make for my dogs, and my dogs are extremely happy and healthy to show for it!

Dr.Lipps is the BEST!!! I personally have taken my pups to her for over 10yrs now. She makes you feel good about the care provided. Her staff is amazing and so caring!

Dr. Lipps has taken very good care of our dogs through the years. The staff is very friendly, and are very compassionate. We have since moved from the area, but go back often. It is good to know that we can count on them being there if we need them.

Dr. Lipps is truly amazing - she cared for my calico for years and was there with me and my fur baby when we had to make the humane decision to let her go just shy of her 17th birthday. I love this animal hospital. The people are extremely friendly. When dealing with a sick animal child you definitely feel compassion from this place unlike some others. They are very clean and thorough too. My baby that I had adopted had heartworms that I was unaware of. They helped me make a decision on treatment and now she is cured and happy!

My female miniature Dachshund was really sick on Friday 06/29/2018 with a deadly infection called Pyometra and had to have emergency surgery to have a complete historectame. She would not have survived the weekend. They saved her life and I will be forever grateful. The staff there is the best. I highly recommend them for all your little loved ones needs. Besides they are family right?

Dr. Lipps saved my dogs life when he had rat poison, even took him to her house when he needed to be monitored... that was 10 years ago and we are still with her!!!

Dr. Lipps and her staff have cared for our animals since 1990. Can't say enough about the high level of care they provide. Highly recommend them.
