We have been in Bastrop for less than 24 hours and this is our first visit to the local pet store and Jacob was eager to help me find food for my daughters Box Turtle…. Ninja is our turtles name. We saved her from on highway around 4 months ago in NorthEast Alabama. Jacob researched on his personal cellphone about out turtle and even measured her shell for us and he did not have to do that for us. His customer service is excellent and he’s respectful and should be given a management position because he has what it takes to lead.

Rats were packed way too tightly into one cage with no activities, and the one ferret they had was being fed hay. If you know anything about ferrets you know they’re obligate carnivores, meaning they can only eat meat. In the least you should feed them high protein cat food, and certainly not hay. The poor thing was all alone and too skinny. Absolutely horrible.

I’m about to make a 5 Hour Dr. with my cat Jupiter and I have never done this before and had so many concerns about it. But like always, whole pet store did not disappoint. They helped me pick the perfect carrier and get everything set up for her to make it as comfortable as possible. We need more people like this who really care about animals.

The staff is great and definitely have a knowledge of what they are doing! They showed me new bugs to feed my lizard, and most always have them in stock

Great staff. Very well stocked store. Had everything I need for all my different pets and the live animals they have look to be well cared for. I am very thankful to never have to enter a petsmart or petco again.

First time walking into this place. I heard about it through a friend and decided to take a look around for myself. Soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked if I needed help. Started to talk to this young woman about my baby Charlie???? and how I wasn't sure if she is eating enough food. Right off the back she began answering all my questions I had. She pointed me in the right direction as far as food products

This is sad because I really wanted to like this place but when I walked in as the only customer there and two employees, no one offered any sort of help no matter how much I browse around.Not only that but it looked like a store that was about to close down. It was very dark and dirty. I really wanted to use the self dog wash but it looked like something from a horror movie. The two stars are for the somewhat neat products that they carry but I left with nothing mainly due to poor customer service. Unfortunately PetSmart wins my business today...sigh

Best place To go to get your pets Hair Done. Stephine Is the best has been doing my Pups Hair for 10 plus years

Very nice lady that clipped my furry chihuahua Polly’s nails today. She stayed clam and very sweet and helpful while my Polly was being crazy! We will go back please make sure tip her!! ????????

No dog grooming at the time, the C19.

I started coming here to buy my dog food, for the most part. It’s a nice spot, glad I found it. The only thing is some of the chews I get are more expensive here, and a lot of the time they are out of the size that I’d get. Regardless, still a good place. Glad it’s here. They have a rewards program for the food too (not sure if it’s all the food or what). Thanks!

Super good groomer in Stephanie. She knows what she is doing. Whole Pets is a small boutique pet store, but you'll be amazed that they can take care of just about any pets needs.

I get my dog's nail cut on toenail Tuesday 2 and 4 of the month she does it for tips and she does a good job.

Have enjoyed shopping at Whole Pets. They know their products and even though it is small it is well stocked. I have also taken my pets to get their nails cut and they have done several other services and I have been pleased and the prices are very reasonable. The ladies are always very nice.
