This was my first time at ZippiVet and the Arboretum location did an amazing job of taking care of my baby. I scheduled an appointment (with incredible ease, btw) online and arrived at the scheduled time and was seen immediately! I'm so used to being put in a room and waiting forever, but this was not the case with ZippiVet. My dog Jack had an ingrown dewclaw (he does not like nail trims) that was causing some serious pain and swelling. Because things like this are preventable, I was expecting to get talked down to for waiting so long, but our technicians, June and Aliyah, were nothing but kind the entire time and I loved that not only did I get to sit in the room for the entire process (including a small sedation to be able to clip the nail), but that the technicians educated me on everything they were doing every step of the way. You won't get that kind of care in most vets! They took their time with my dog and made sure he was comfortable while sedated which I valued a ton. After speaking with the vet, Dr. Helburn, (who I might add is a serious trooper, being on crutches and still seeing patients), who is incredibly knowledgable, I had to let them know right then and there that I found our new vet. Dr. Helburn had a wonderful action plan and I never felt like they were trying to upsell me into more services or products (which is rare in the veterinary field). I also loved that Dr. Helburn was a nutrition nerd for pets and informed me that the food I had been feeding my dog was actually linked to causing heart problems! She was able to recommend a new diet to me which I was very thankful for. To top things off, I felt comfortable enough leaving my dog there for a short time while I took my mother to her appointment, and that's saying something because I've never left him alone at the vet. I know this comment is incredibly long, but I wanted to make sure I recognized the wonderful people at ZippiVet. Thank you so much for taking care of my sweet boy! :)

Vet and vet tech were so sweet and understanding. They were diligent about explaining treatment plans and results! We felt peace of mind from minute one, and our cat did too. We really appreciated how thorough they were with their care

I cannot express just how appreciative I am of everyone here. They were incredible with my sweet Sharpei,who never quite was at ease with a vet before them! They were so kind,patient and sweet to her,so much so that she was so relaxed as if she'd known them all her life. They helped me through having to make an incredibly difficult decision after finding cancer in my sweet old girl,and they saw us through every step with softness and kindness. I honestly can't thank them enough for being who they are,all of them! I have so much respect for their honesty and how informational they are. This all happened like a whirlwind,and they were not only amazing,they were incredibly affordable compared to others I've experienced in the past,along with 1000times the kindness. I will be a forever dog mom client....I'll never take my fur babies anywhere else!

Zippivet has taken very good care of my pets in the past, I'll be honest at some points there are some expensive healthcare options for your pet however if you're in a pinch they will make time to squeeze you in to take care of you if needed care and can't afford an emergency room for your pet. They are def willing to work on helping out as best they can for affordable treatments and give you many options before going through with something. Overall I really like them!

I’ve been taking my cats here for years even though I moved farther away. ZippiVet makes scheduling easy when you call and can get your pet seen relatively quick. I really appreciate how great they are with communication, from booking and text message confirmations, to calling and texting while my pet is in their care. ZippiVet is very transparent about pricing and always confirm beforehand so there are no surprises. I’ve never had anything less than a great experience and trust them with my pet’s health care.

We have been going to Zippivet for a while and they have been amazing every time we’ve gone. My poor cat has digestive issues and they were able to see him same day and treat him as well. The staff are always lovely and the vet was so kind. I have seen multiple vets through Zippivet and they’re always great. I can’t recommend enough.

They care about your pet. When here, your pet is treated like a pet and not a number as some other places do. I was referred to Zippivet from Empancipet because they couldn’t perform the treatment I needed for my Roxy. I’ve been with them ever since.

My dog was difficult and wouldn't let them draw his blood. They went above and beyond to get what he needed done (vaccines so he could be boarded) when he was so cranky. Next time, I'll make sure to give him his anti-anxiety pills so he'll be a happier, easier guy to deal with. They were very patient with my crabby dog.

I want to take a moment to thank ZippiVet. We're new to Austin and didn't have a primary care for our 8 yo golden retriever. When she got sick Zippi was able to get us in the next day. The vet and the staff were extremely warm and knowledgeable. We got bad news that day but I felt like we were being taken care of. The kindness

Great service. Sad I have to do curbside despite wearing a mask and being fully vaccinated, but I understand why the business has the restrictions in place. I miss going inside with my babies. I appreciated their frank advice and prompt service. Also, they didn't make me feel bad for my dog's skin infection (it was hidden underneath long fur) or when my elderly cat had a curled nail (she has always been able to keep her nails worn down until now). Neither of these new issues were due to purposeful neglect, but when your fur baby is hurting and can’t communicate it, you feel awful regardless. Being reassured is nice.

The vet and tech were very kind and patient throughout our appointment process. Curbside appointments can feel disconnected, and your time and patience helped bridge that gap for us. I appreciated the time spent on the phone explaining the appointment findings and our options. Our dog is so much better and we left feeling hopeful! We will be back for our future scheduled and emergent appointments. Thank you!

Called to make a last minute appointment for my pup who wasn’t feeling well. They were able to squeeze us in the same day. Everyone here was super nice. My puppy was happy enough to go right in with the technician. The vet called me to go over all my concerns and her assessments. Great experience here. I felt like all my concerns were addressed and left here feeling like they really cared about getting my puppy feeling better! Will definitely be back!

I normally don't write reviews but... They seemed to be nice people but with shady business practices. I had a poor experience and won't be going back. I was given a laundry list of things that were "recommended" for my cat including a dental visit because of tartar buildup. Yeah, I was surprised too. When I asked how much all of this would cost me they told me they would call me back with that number. When I got that call I also received my invoice simultaneously as the lady began to explain all the charges including an additional $50 test for something I never agreed to. I was only expecting the $60 exam fee. After speaking with different people a guy offered me a $25 coupon since I was a new patient. Give me a break. I should have fought the entire $50 fee. Just expect for them to try and upsale you and charge you for things you don't ask for.

Found this vet on a whim to book a new patient appointment and yearly check-up with shots. I was a bit skeptical since I've really only been to small town, family owned clinics, but I'm very pleased! The online portal to book is awesome, and although it's still curbside, my anxious pupper always comes out happy as can be. The entire staff is quick to take your call, or follow up if they missed you. Dr. Helburn is wonderful (just like the staff!) and really takes the time to answer any and all questions. The staff and accounting team is also good at breaking down costs beforehand, too. They are reasonably priced, too! My pup had to get a cleaning and extraction and I was surprised at how reasonable they were. The gentleman that picked him up from my car even took the time to go over the procedure to calm my nerves, too! Overall, I'm very pleased with everyone I've interacted with.

The scheduling process was easy, as was the curbside drop off and pick up. Everyone was very friendly, and I felt like they were genuinely interested in discussing my cat's health with me. Overall it was a great experience. I also want to note, I read a review about them trying to upsell services, and that was not my experience.

The vet and technicians who have helped my pup during all of her visits have always been very nice and thorough! I've never had a bad experience at Zippivet! The way they make my dog feel more comfortable, especially since she has extreme anxiety is very helpful.

This location is one of the best. I live 40 miles away and I drive to take my baby to them because they are courteous and super nice. They take good good care of my doggie child. They are efficient, professional and provides constant communication.

I'm very attached to my kittens, so I'm glad they received great care! Everyone at Zippivet seemed to love Ziggy and Jojo as much as I do :-) That was reassuring. I trust Zippivet completely.

Was recommended ZippiVet by a friend and was disappointed. The vet tech I spoke to first (over the phone) treated me as though I was risking my dogs health because I did not use a specific type of flea and tic medicine. The vet did not explain any side effects, how often or anything about the medicine that was prescribed and given. They brought my dog out, put them in my car and then realized they did not give my dog an allergy shot and brought them back in. I asked about giving my dog benadryl instead of the shot and they said "that works for some dogs but this shot will definitely work". It just felt like just another sub-par vet that pushes you to pay high prices for medicines even though there are less expensive options you can try first and then does not tell you anything about the medicine, what to expect, or side effects.
