Took great care of my pup!

I used to take my dog to this vet practice years ago, when they were located in Bee Cave. Now, years later, I've moved to the Lakeway area and was pleased to find that Village Vet is still operating in the area. I take my dog and cat here because Dr. Winston is very professional, takes time to explain conditions and options, and is very caring for his patients.

Dr. Winston is the most compassionate vet I’ve ever met. He gave my sick puppy the best care I could’ve asked for from anyone. I regret not finding him sooner. He sits down with you and explains everything in detail and will never make you feel like he’s in a hurry. He is a great communicator. I’ve never met a vet who actually takes a seat to explain everything when your dog is sick. He is well read, extremely intelligent, and empathetic. His staff is sweet, reassuring, and responsive. THANK YOU Dr. Winston and staff! I am so very grateful for everything you did for me and my little guy. If you want to feel confident that you are going to a wise, competent vet who knows what he’s doing, look no further!!! Dr. Winston, you rock!

We lost our cat, and we called this Vet as they were close by. Highly professional, empathetic and courteous staff who were also observing awareness and consideration for Covid 19. They handled our pet with care and respect and we will be using them again for all future needs for future pets. It is rare you find a vet like this, and I cannot praise them enough. Thank you to you and all your staff.

The people are rude. When I called, the lady acted like I was bothering her by calling. She was disgusting on the phone and could not answer my questions. I was completely appalled by how she was speaking to me. I terminated the call. I feel bad for this place. If this is the staff the doctor hires - I don't want to imagine the nightmare, of how my cat would be treated. Front staff is a direct reflection of the doctor. I would not trust them with a dead animal.

I took my kitten to this place. I'm from out of state. Was dealing with very sick little guy. They treated me like gold. They were very quick, got me in within an hour of my call. I would recommend them to anyone. Give them a try if your not set up any where.

I have 1 dog + 2 cats that I've been bringing here for years now. Always a good experience, the staff love what they do & it really shows! And Dr. Winston never rushes a visit; he explains everything in great detail.

Dr. Winston and team provide excellent care and have a solid understanding re: the privilege and responsibility of pet ownership. My family fully trusts Village Vet Hospital and we wholeheartedly recommend their services.

They are so nice and helpful here. And they do not overcharge you! I love that because so many other Vets just try to charge you too much. So glad I found them!

Dr. Winston and his staff are warm, caring, and very welcoming to our us and our pet family! We love how their clinic cats will always greet us on arrival too! We definitely recommend this vet clinic!

This organization is a joke. This clinic DOES NOT take any responsibility for anything! It has been over a week since since my dog was seen by them and he has barely moved since we got him back. Our dog went in for routine shots & came back in worse condition with blood in his stool. A week later he is extremely lethargic and barley moves. We still need to get to the bottom of this...stay tuned.

Dr. Winston and his staff (Kim, Judy, Lara) have been taking wonderful care of our 2 dogs, Moses & Jewel for years. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Moses last week. I can't thank you all enough for providing years of compassion, guidance and amazing care to Moses. Dr. Winston and the staff are amazing and very accommodating. As a first time pet owner, they answered all of my questions very patiently and directed me to the right resources to get all the paperwork done. For me, it's kind of a drive to get out there but I wouldn't take my cat anywhere else.

Dr. Winston and his staff are absolutely wonderful! I wish I had found them years ago (even though we previously lived out of state). I took my senior dog in due to a growth in his eyelid and a large tumor on his leg. Dr. Winston provided me with so muchmore information than 3 previous vets had. He did a needle biopsy, chest X-rays and drew blood for lab work (and clipped his nails since he was lying down!) and we were in and out in an hour. He even called on a busy Saturday to say his blood work looked good. We have definitely found our go-to vet!!!

Dr. Winston and his staff are kind, caring and very competent. Also, his prices are very reasonable after my dogs were with another vet for years that was extremely over-priced. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Winston and the Village Vet crew are AWESOME! I have a high maintenance pup with terrible allergies and they have been the best thru the process and helped us find something that completely erased her symptoms. Everyone at Village Vet is friendly and accomidating and always willing to help, including a home visit if necessary. I could not feel more confident in the advise given with our furry ones and the care they receive.

Dr. Winston and his staff are compassionate and competent. Unfortunately, they lobbied me for years to have my bulldog castrated, claiming that he would be happier. I do not know how to measure a dog's happiness except for their joy. Until Jake was castrated, he was full of energy and delighted in my presence. Now, following his castration, he is lethargic and seems not to recognize me. Dr. Winston knows little about this type of alpha-male. I know he makes money by doing procedures, but this was wrong. Jake was happy and adored being with me as my best friend. Now, he seems like a dog I hardly know.

After trying two other Vets with no results, Dr. Winston properly diagnosed our dog problems and referred us to Texas A&M. Our dog is alive because of this and doing great. We can always count on the friendliness and best professional care given by all. Interestingly, Chip (our dog), does not mind going to the Vet!!

Our experience with Dr. Winston and his staff has always been great!! They are so accommodating and very professional. Dr. Winston truly cares for all his patients, as does Judy and the rest of the staff. He always takes his time and answers all questions without you ever feeling that he is rushing you through. We had an emergency with our puppy last summer and he and Judy came on a Sunday morning and took care of our pet. All of our experiences have been outstanding!!
