I pay a monthly “VCA club” fee to take my pet here. It’s impossible to get an appointment unless you book over a month out. The monthly fee rarely covers any of the medicine they try to sell you. Don’t waste your time or money here.

AWESOME TEAM! We brought our pupperdoodle, Memo Bandito, in for an appointment after he was showing some symptoms. The whole staff were extremely knowledgeable, patient, courteous, but most importantly was gentle and treated our dog very well. After going home we knew that the fee that we were quoted were higher than our previous vet. But, we recognize that fees are not everything to consider when you are selecting what vet to go to. It is totally worth it to invest in a practice that might be slightly higher fees because they are taking the time and making your pet a priority. The care and concern they have is obvious and you can tell that they genuine want the best. We would highly recommend VCA and you should ABSOLUTELY give them a call to schedule. They took the time to answer ALL of our questions. The doctor came in twice after we had a follow-up questions (or 100) and later we called the front office and spoke with Misty. She spent about 15 minutes going through the itemization of our treatment plan, various estimates, and helped us really understand our visit and what to expect at our future visit. We truly appreciate the staff and are ‘looking forward’ to our next visit. The only suggestion I would have for the office would be to create a plan in which you could enroll two pups or more. Thanks everyone for your hard work!

I have been going to this vet for 6 years. Over that time I have seen them grow which comes with understandable pain points. I have seen prices increase and wait times extend which are things I have continued to withstand because I believed they provided good service. This past year, I have experienced poor service and extremely high prices. Today I have finally reached my breaking point when my dog needed to be seen for an extremely bad ear infection. He was seen by the doctor only a week or two before which I was given wash to treat the ear. The same infection has worsened and my dog is in pain. When I tried to get him in to be seen and receive prescribed medications, they said they were full until next week. When I expressed my concern that he is in pain, they suggested I go to an emergency clinic if I felt that it was an emergency (which would be outrageously expensive especially for a simple ear infection). There was no sympathy, no understanding and no wiggle room to try and squeeze him in which would have been an in and out appointment. When I go to a vet for service I expect to have a relationship that I can call on. If they cannot help me with a simple ear infection they cannot help with the big, unexpected things. I would suggest to go to a different clinic that has time and respect for your animal.

Absolutely awful experience. We were told 15 minutes until we would get to speak to our technician. This took 45 minutes and only after we called again to say we were still there. When the technician arrived she was unbelievably rude and was zero help whatsoever. Our dog had been vomiting blood for over an hour and she couldn’t even look us in the eyes. Terrible experience, we left in disgust, and I would never recommend anyone taking there dog to this dump with their rude technicians.

They take very good care of my fur babies. It's a busy practice, but that's only because they have good people working there, both front and back of "house" as it were...The Doc's take great care of the pawed people, and the techs and the desk manage the chaos of life gracefully.

I am am a steward of animals. I believe that they are beings operating on pure love. I believe the folks at VCA abide by the same understanding. Do yourself a favor, do your animal a favor, and go to these people and let them help you. They will help you through all aspects of being a good human to you pet. Remember, our animals are sentinel beings. They live to serve us out of pure love. Be kind and patient to them. After all you are there human....Be well J.C.

They we're Awesome. Taking care of our baby 3 1/2, week puppy. The prices was affordable, during this pandemic. Because families are financially struggling. I found this place myself. To find a affordable Veterinary. Then paying over $200.00 and Something. I had a appointment to a veterinarian. This price at the time, I couldn't afford. I just paid my Rent, water bill etc Bill's, I have to pay too have a living. Food money lol. What i had left. Used on our puppy and donated money to the shelter. Because I was grateful for their services and their affordable price. I will be a new Donor. Because what I was going to pay at my 1st vet appointment. I can donate that amount and some to VCA. Thanks Brown foot, he doing good. Etc

By far the best vet I’ve ever been to. I can not speak highly enough about Dr Garza. The rest of the team is also incredibly friendly and accommodating. I always know that they will do what is best for my dog, and never try to upsell anything. Thank you VCA!

This place is a blessing. Words can not express the caring that the staff has given my family and I. I had a very sick rescue kitty that didn't turn out well. My son and I were extremely grief sticken and an uncomfortable situation but they were amazing and I can't thank them enough. I highly recommended this vet for all of your pet needs.

Very caring staff and doctors. We had a wonderful result with our cat and decided to move our brood to this office. They were kind and were diligent in letting us know how much things would cost before charging us. They didn’t make us feel bad that we couldn’t handle a huge bill in the midst of coronavirus jobless times. Our pets came home healthy and happy. Great place!!!

I absolutely love bringing my fur babies here. My oldest Chiweenie started coming here about 2 years ago & Nova loves all of the staff! My new baby, Nugget, absolutely adores the front desk, vet techs, and veterinarians! My newest puppy had a bad allergic reaction to a dewormer and I was extremely nervous. This location took very great care of Nugget and I am so grateful! Thank you VCA!

This place has been God-send. Dr. Yen knows all 3 of our cats like they are her own and she really takes time to understand what's going on with them and make sure we're comfortable with giving them treatments and keeping them healthy. Can't recommend this place enough. We moved out of downtown and still drive 45 minutes to get here just because the people here are so great.

It was a great experience. They pick up your animal from the car take them inside do the exam and call you with the results and you pay on a website. I have called them freaking out about my dog and they were able to calm me down and get her in for an appointment the next day. I love this vet so much. They are always professional, sweet, and love the animals they care for.

We started going to the VCA on Ben White when we moved here last year. It has been such a great experience for us! EVERYONE that works here is so friendly and knowledgable. They truly care about every pet that goes in here. I highly recommend this place to anybody. Hands down, best vets in Austin!

These people are incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. They always say wonderful things about our pets. They always check in too the day after the appointment. They are practicing contaftless drop off, so it feels very safe. Great vet, personal attention.

I've been trying to make an appointment for my cat who has had skin issues for almost a week on my days off but all animal hospitals in my area would already be completely booked. A coworker recommended this animal hospital. I called and they were booked for the day but the clerk took the time to hear my cat's symptoms and was soo kind enough to squeeze me in for a walk-in appointment. None of the other hospitals gave me that option or to even hear my cat's condition. I was devastated as I didn't want to keep delaying her treatment so it was extremely generous of them to do that. I am so grateful!

The staff is kind of reasonable especially sensitive during Coronavirus. My dog had a minor surgery for a cyst on her tail. They explained what it was and checked to make sure it was not a tumor and took great care of her while she was there. She's fully recovered. To all the staff at VCA thank you so much!

Due to covid they are only seeing pets no humans in the building. They are very accommodating. Great with our fur child!

AMAZING value. AWESOME service. Let me change my appointment day of. They were so nice to my cat he literally LOVED the techs and the vet. They brought me water and candy while I sat in my car and waited for my cat, gave me a free round of flea prevention, AND a laser pointer. I am so happy. Highly highly recommend.

I took my Cavachon, Bandit, here several months ago to get his shots updated and it was a great experience. Today, when I discovered Bandit had a bite on his tail they were able to see him right while taking all of the necessary COVID-19 precautions. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and the vet even calmed me down over the phone as I was absolutely hysterical. I highly recommend them to any owners of fur babies!!!

I had an emergency because my puppy was unresponsive i called ahead 7 minutes so that they would be prepared when i came to the door. when i came in they asked me questions as i was holding my non breathing puppy then proceeded to take him. they came back a few minutes later without having started any procedure on him to ask if it was okay to give him cpr. i got a call about 15 min later and the lady says that our puppy has passed and then proceeds to ask me about payment right after. When i finally got to see my pet i was told i had however much time i needed but about 10min later the vet comes in to tell me i was $10 short on the payment , mid way of me saying my goodbyes, he then proceeded to follow me all the way to my car to get the $10. They wanted to charge me 300-400$ to get an autopsy done one him. 200 for the cpr. 100 more for cremation and an extra 25 dollars just to get the ashes back. I left the house hoping to get my dog in time to the vet to be saved and instead ended up leaving my dog passed away at the vet and got charged 375 dollars for the cpr which did nothing. 375 dollars to tell me that my dog was unresponsive. mind you i had to pay upfront not in payments or even just after they gave me my puppy’s ashes.
