Dr. Lassin and his team are at the absolute top of their field-both medically and experientially. I know that my dogs are treated with the utmost of care here, and I am too. My questions are always answered and the course of treatment is thoroughly explained. One of my dogs is very high needs with several syndromes and we feel that we have finally found a clinic that we can partner with to keep him going- healthy and happy. There will never be a better vet than Dr. Lassin. I’ve never been able to fully trust a vet before but I do with him. He listens. He cares. He’s amazing. His staff is also amazing.

Comprehensive and humane pet care

Dr. Lassin, Dawn, and Mequela went beyond the call of duty to give my Tor a great experience. I felt appreciated and respected and felt like my Tor got an exceptional level of care.

I have too many good things to say to even put in this review, but here's a few- The Roots team are all kind, attentive, great communicators, and truly care about your pet. They welcome you so kindly at the door, even at 7am, haha. Dr Lassin is the only vet I've ever been to who is genuinely holistic, and whose first priority is 100% the well being of my cat, Leonidas. He, and the rest of the fantastic Roots team, communicate options and concerns thoroughly, and are very helpful and informative. Dr Lassin is the only vet whom I completely trust with Leo, and I'm sure the other Veterinarian(s) at Roots are incredible as well. Shout out to the amazing vet tech who was so sweet with Leo! Just moved to the area and they were able to get my cat Willow an appointment. All of the staff were extremely kind and Dr. Sosa made sure to explain every possible thing that could be causing my cat to be sick and provided me with solutions. I really appreciate the thoroughness and care they have for people’s pets along with their kindness. I really also loved the thoughtfulness that was put into their waiting room and the cat rooms where the vet examines them. My cat felt extremely comfortable here and I have piece of mind after taking Willow here. Dr. Sosa called to make sure Willow was doing okay the next day which shows how much they care. Thank you again for such a positive experience for me and my cat!

The Roots staff is warm, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and meets you and your pet where you are! The different care options given are so appreciated, and from there we can decide together the best route for our pets. The level of care is unmatched and I always appreciate the honesty of the staff, as well as feeling as though they’re treating our dogs like their own! So this is definitely not the one solution fits all type vet. This place has a great rating and I now know why. Not only will they give all options, to save money, they will also provide other options I wasn't aware of. I was given the option of acupuncture for my bully. Would most definitely recommend.

AWESOME first experience at Roots. The staff were all great, little to no wait time. Dr. Sosa was very thorough and spent a good amount of time with us to go over everything. There were a couple of things I figured I'd have to spend money on (routine things that in the past other vet clinics always want to do), but Dr. Sosa said weren't necessary, so it's obvious they do not charge for unnecessary things. Dr. Sosa also sent a very very thorough follow-up email of everything discussed, along with recommendations (no other vet clinic I've been to does this). Roots is an hour away for me, but I love that they think differently and have a broader integrated approach, so it's worth it!

When I tell you I’ve been to 15 vets and this Vet actually knew his stuff and tried to explain and help out it’s all worth it great people. Also side note my dog never trust anyone and she willfully left with vets like she didn’t have an owner.

Dr. Lassen is wonderful. I was referred to him by my raw feeding co-op when I got my puppy. He gets my pup the shots he NEEDS and nothing more. He also was so helpful in answering my questions and giving me advice about raw feeding. I came with questions about nutrients and he gave me over an hour of his time. I came to him after talking to another vet about Omega 3s and 6s and they responded with "where are you getting all of your information?".
