Quite impressed with Dr Poling. We saw him to remove a small foreign object from our dogs shoulder. He did a very thorough exam. He mentioned the object could act as an irritant in the dogs body and contribute to his “allergies”. I have not started treating our pups feet for yeast yet, i wanted to take “before pics”. I am already too late. Two days after our visit, with the object removed, his feet already look much healthier and he appears quite happy. So nice to have a great vet close by. Very reasonable pricing.

Best service in Austin. If you are looking for a small-town vet office feel, you have found the right place.

The vet is an amazing addition to our community. He is super knowledgeable and kind. He goes above and beyond and truly cares about the pets he helps. He is affordable and honestly worth every penny. Both my dog's lives have improved since he became our family vet.

While traveling from Florida to Austin, our dog developed eye irritation. We were concerned that a foreign object was in her eye. Dr Poling gave our pup a complete eye exam as well as a health check/evaluation. We were very impressed with the exam and treatment. We highly recommend this Veterinarian Clinic. Thank you.

I have just moved to the area. I found this veterinarian practice, by chance, under desperate circumstances. One of my cats was very sick and this was the only practice I called that would see him same day. They were very kind and patient with us. I can absolutely recommend this practice.

Dr. Poling is the best Vet I've ever taken my pets to!!! I have had animals for a long time and have 7 now. I trust that he will take great care of them all. My baby has Cushing's and I used to take him to a Vet that is 35 min away from me because she knew his whole history by heart due to his very frequent visits. He has Cushing's, so his blood sugar, blood pressure, kidneys and liver must all be monitored. The old Vet worked at a VCA clinic and trust me in saying, I never got a slight discount even though I spent thousands of dollars there. But hes my boy, so I did without many things. I was afraid to come to Prarie Creek, but when I arrived, Dr Poling had my boy's book of pages of chart notes and he had read them ALL. Dr. Poling has such a kind, loving heart and it's so apparent that he truly loves these animals. I trust my dog with Dr Poling even more than his previous Vet. My dog is actually calmer around him. I also brought my cat there to have some teeth pulled and he charged a low price. Dr Poling has exceeded my expectations in every possible way!! If you wish for him to, Dr. Poling gives his rationale for how he is choosing to treat and personally I appreciate that and his endless knowledge. GT and Annamarie are also awesome. GT livens the place up and Annamarie is the business-minded one. They are a perfect team and so appreciated!

Great place. Our new shelter pup doesn’t take well to men usually but she loves Dr. Poling and all the staff there. Super welcoming and calm environment for the doggos too!

Vet is extremely nice and knowledgeable. Takes good care of Oso for us. Price is the only factor or we would come more.

This place is new but GREAT!! Dr Poling really took his time to look at our 2 girls that were both experiencing their own issues. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. We’re new to the area so it was tough finding a new veterinarian with great service and on top of that someone who could get us in so soon! Our girls who are like night and day enjoyed going there too. Amazing service all around from when I called to initially schedule the visit and to us getting checked out.

I rescued 3 pink squirrels, couldn't get any help from any rescue/ rehab centers! But I remembered seeing this animal hospital on my way home! Thankfully this Vet was so caring, he was finishing up with an appointment and an emergency and was about to close, but took the time after all that to take them in and save them! Thank you so much! This man truly loves animals! I recommend him 1000% for any pets! P.s one rehab center or critter place wanted $399 to take them!

My Yorkie Frank had a bladder infection and I was seeing blood my dogs are my life and they took excellent care of him on short notice. Absolutely love them.

Took my dog in for a cough and Dr. Poling quickly picked up on other issues without me even mentioning anything. We'd seen another vet for these issues and were told everything was fine and there was nothing to do, but Dr. Poling took the time to explain what was happening and why, and set us up with a plan of action. Amazing. I'm bringing another pet to them now and we're still receiving top-notch personable care. So happy to have such a great vet just around the corner!

I was very impressed with my visit to Prairie Creek. The Vet is very knowledgeable and passionate, and found the best care and vaccines possible, at the best price he could. I am beyond thrilled to have a trustworthy vet so close to my neighborhood! After taking my cat in for a checkup I immediately booked my dog for a visit. We highly recommend!

My old dog got stroke today suddenly, almost couldn't stand, rolling on the floor, I took my dog to see Dr. Poling, he is very professional, gave me all details info and useful suggestion. After treatment, GT helped me to put my dog back to the car. My dog was very afraid to go to hospital, but this time, he was very calm, I believe he felt that Dr. Poling is here to help him to stand back. After treatment, Dr. Poling and GT also helped me to cut my dog's nails, to make sure my dog get easier to walk on a hardfloor. I was so touched by Dr. Poling and his assistant GT, they are truly thinking for you and your pet, I highly recommend this vet.

Dr. Rodney Poling is hands down the best veterinarian I’ve ever taken my dogs to. We are new to the area and were a little nervous about finding quality care for our two pups. Dr. Poling took the time to educate me about my dogs illness and sent us home with a plan that I feel confident in.
