Dr. Phillips is knowledgeable and compassionate, takes time to explain exactly what's ailing my dog, and is patient with my many questions. Dr. Green-Otero is awesome and so kind, too. The techs are friendly and know their stuff.

I have been going to this clinic for over 30 years. I have seen people come and go, but they truly care for your pet. Even with the Covid pandemic they have worked diligently to provide quality care for our fur family. I highly recommend this clinic.

You know the funny YouTube videos about owners tricking their pets to go for a car ride and the pets get mad when they realize their going to the vet? I guarantee they weren’t going to Northwest. I know multiple people, including myself, who take their pets here and they love it! My Patty jumps around the car in excitement until they are ready to take her in. If she is with me when I go pick up a prescription, she wines because she didn’t get to go in. Everyone there is very friendly and patient with my very active pooch. I wouldn’t have my baby girl receive care anywhere else.

I have taken out dogs to Northwest Veterinary hospital since moving to Austin several years ago. They are fantastic! The staff is very caring and passionate about your pets, and the Veterinarians are thorough, follow up with personal phone calls after visits, and are very accommodating. I would highly recommend!

Our cat has horrible anxiety and is generally high maintenance. We've been taking him to NWVH since 2018 and have loved every person we've worked with there. Their office staff is wonderful, and Dr. David Noel and Dr. Christine Noel are both detailed, thorough, and communicative. They really take the time to explain every detail to you so that you can determine how to best take care of your fur baby.

I don't have a pet so I never used their services, but I own a property nearby and something happened to me on the road another day – several employees ran to help me immediately. I was super surprised that these kind people left what they were doing to help me. You guys deserve all of the good feedbacks left on this page, so here is one more. Thank you!

Dr Phillips and his staff are knowledgeable, thorough, attentive, and personable! This care team has taken care of our Japanese Chins for over ten years and even after we moved out of the neighborhood and away from Austin they have continued to be our primary veterinary care. We've driven four hours one way for the personal attention and when we are RVing out of state they are so gracious to coordinate care with other veterinary offices. They promptly respond to phone calls and emails with answers and then follow up when necessary. We sincerely appreciate their dedication! We also thank them for taking precautions to keep all safe during the pandemic.

I've taken my dogs to NVH for more than a decade and wouldn't take them anywhere else. I am especially fond of Dr. Green-Otero (or Dr. GO). She helped us through Harpo, Bandit and Crystal until their death of old age, and now with Bobby and Peaches, and I'm sure more in our future. She has a lovely manner with them (and us), and she's up on the latest treatments. Top notch care. Lovely staff.

We have always loved the Techs and the Vets at NWVH. Everyone cares about our critters (family members). After every boarding, all the dogs' belongings are returned--washed and neatly folded. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

NW Vet Hospital is fantastic! Our pets have been coming here for a couple decades! The Vets, staff, technicians are all knowledgable and amazingly kind and compassionate. We drive quite a distance for our pet care because this clinic is wonderful!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Northwest Vet Hospital! We were in town visiting family and we were very concerned about our dog as he had not been eating for the past 5 days. The staff at Northwest Vet Hospital did a great job with getting his history and doing a thorough work-up. Dr. Noel walked us through our dog's clinical picture and outlined all the possible options for him. He did a great job supporting us and equipping us with all the facts and knowledge needed to make the best decision for our dog. The staff also did an amazing job of showing us how to administer fluids to our dog subcutaneously and they were so amazingly patient and supportive of us. We had such a wonderful experience at Northwest Vet Hospital - our dog was so well taken care of and we would definitely go back again if we were in Austin full-time!

Everyone we interacted with-- our vet, Dr. Noel, technician, and office staff-- went above and beyond to answer questions, provide us with helpful information and options, and treat us both with so much kindness! They were even able to help me with preparing my cat for international travel, and Dr. Noel is able to provide the necessary certification for it that I was so worried would be quite difficult to obtain. I recommend Northwest Veterinary Hospital highly and feel confident knowing my cat's health is in their highly-capable and loving care!

Northwest Veterinary is like part of our extended family! For over ten years Dr Phillips and his staff have taken care of our fur babies and even after we moved out of the neighborhood in Austin, they have continued to be our primary care team. We drive nearly 400 miles round trip for their personal attention to Yogi and when we RV out of state they graciously coordinate his care with other veterinary offices. They promptly respond to phone calls and emails, get back with answers for questions and medication needs, are thorough, always attentive, and will follow up as needed. We also appreciate that they have followed Covid guidelines and continue to work to keep us all safe.

Dr. Harrington and the veterinary assistants always take such great care of TC! They all love what they do and care so much for their furry patients.

I have been going to Northwest Veterinary Hospital since 1992. I have seen the clinic change hands a few times, but the quality of the care never changes. The vets have always been compassionate and caring and provide excellent medical care. They consistently view situations from a perspective of what is best for the pet and reasonable for the owner.

The doctor - David but can't remember last name, which it was printed on the receipt - listened and took good notes about our concerns. After the exam, he spent a lot of time answering my questions and explaining my cat's condition. I was very happy with the care we received at this visit.

I just switched to Northwest from another vet and am already impressed from the first visit. We went in for some due vaccines and for a dental issue. The staff and doctor made me feel heard and taken care of. I'm sure a lot of vets are overwhelmed right now, but I felt like they really took the time to listen to my concerns and make sure I understood their diagnosis and recommendations for next steps. I also felt the overall cost was very fair.

NW Vet has taken excellent care of our entire family's pets, 7 dogs and 2 cats, since we moved to Austin 19 years ago. We were always met with a friendly greeting, recieved expert care and advice, charged a fair price, and given follow-up phone calls. After losing the last of 2 Chihuahuas in July 2020, we thought our time with NW Vet was complete. However I adopted a 3 year old rescue dog and immediately entrusted her care to NW Vet. Not only did Dr. Phillips thoroughly check out our newest family member, but he took 20 to 30 minutes to answer all my "new parent" questions post exam and eased my mind. I would recommend NW Vet to any and everyone seeking quality, affordable, and loving pet care. We've missed the staff at NW Vet.

We feel so lucky to have found this vet! You can tell that they really care. Little things, like a follow up call to make sure the prescription pads that we got for my dog were working and we were seeing improvements. Highly recommend!
