The team was able to see my (new) kitten same-day after she wasn’t feeling her best. From the phone call to the after appointment payment, and everything in between, the team was amazing. Kara, with Dr. Jessica, were a dream and I feel lucky to call this place our go-to vet clinic. Thanks to the team for helping Poppy girl feel her best, even with a quick turnaround.

I had a really great experience from the ease of scheduling to the vet visit to the follow up call I received days after treatment.

I have a very high standards for vets (after my prior dog passed from lymphoma). Dr. Shannon made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. I also appreciate didn't make the appt seem rushed at all!

Incredible group. Called them when my mastiff was having issues with what turned out to be bladder stones. They saw him the same day I called, performed surgery two days later and now he is on the mend. Everyone from the front desk to the techs and doctors were extremely nice and they took great care of my boy while we was with them. A++ care and service.

Experience was perfect. By far the very BEST veterinary appointment my Cavapoo and her parents have ever been to! When in Austin, this is the only place we’ll go to for yearly checkups or unforeseen emergencies!

This is a wonderful place to take your pet. I was going there for over 2 years. I just recently moved out out state and I am sad to leave them. I have taken my 8 week old puppy there and she is now 2 1/2. I have taken here here for her shots, her annual check up, even once when another dog bit her. Austin Urban Vet, has always taken great care of my Nova. I would highly recommend this place.

If you're new to Austin and don't know where to take your pup, GO HERE! Dr. Mike is awesome, as well as all the vet techs and office staff. My pup is very weary of people, especially men, and tends to be timid and shy. Dr. Mike did a great job of taking his time with her, letting her sniff him and overall just being gentle with her. He also took his time answering all my questions and was very informative. The vet tech (I'm blanking on her name, I'm so sorry!) was awesome too! I feel very confident in Austin Urban and I'll definitely be bringing my girl here for her routine visits.

Today was my first time attending this vet office to see Doctor Jessica! My dog, Kona has a large amount of anxiety and is very skittish at vet appointments. They were very sweet and accommodating with her. In the 5 years I’ve had her I’ve never seen her be so comfortable with a Veterinarian and their team! They did an amazing job, I am so happy I made the switch to Urban Vet.

Cannot say enough great things about Austin Urban Vet Center. I have tried out a few other clinics around Austin and none of them have been as attentive, caring, and thorough as they are here. The front desk is amazing and Dr. Helen and Dr. Jessica are so thoughtful. I can tell they really care for my dogs (and seem to genuinely enjoy them). During the pandemic they had a great curbside system and would call me with all the details of the exam, procedure, etc. They also are great at not jumping straight into the most expensive solution or medication and will work with you to find a cost effective treatment when possible. Dr. Helen is my primary vet and immediately gave me her personal contact information so I can email her with any issues and avoid having to schedule an exam at the clinic (very crucial when you have a pandemic puppy and a mischievous Lab). This has saved me so much time and money on minor issues. I'm moving soon and can confidently say one of the things I'll miss most about Austin is Austin Urban Vet Center!

I recommend Austin Urban Vet any chance I get! Redford’s (my dog) life has been saved here a number of times. And even though we’ve been here for scary situations, he loves coming back. I feel we are so well taken care of every time we come here… and with this menace we come here a lot.

Everyone on staff is friendly and they provide the best care for my pups. Highly recommended!

My cat Moses is treated with love and tenderness whenever we go. He recently got diagnosed with diabetes and they have held my hand through the process of me learning how to give him insulin injections.

Austin Urban Vet Center has been such an amazing vet for our two dogs. Dr. Helen was always so attentive to the dogs and did thorough exams. She also was extremely responsive via email which we appreciated as we were trying to work through some anxiety and fear issues with one of our dogs. The entire team at Austin Urban Vet Center has been great to us throughout our 4 years with them. We've moved to Colorado and are sad to have to find a new vet, but will always return to Dr. Helen and team when we are in Texas. Thanks!!

Great care for my dog.

I heard great things from a couple people about Austin Urban Vet Center so when my current vet was unable to see my cats, as soon as I needed, I reached out. They are now our new vet! The entire staff has been nothing but nice and full of helpful information. They also seem to genuinely care for animals. This is the fourth vet that I have brought my cats to in Austin and I don't have ANY doubts about leaving them in their care. I trust them. Update - a year later: I still love Austin Urban Vet Center. I continue to move further away from downtown, but still bring my cats here because they are the only people I trust with my babies. They continue to care for my cats in the best possible way, and are willing to help me figure things out without always going back in for an appointment. Jessica has been so kind and helpful.

I am thoroughly impressed and glad I made the choice to take my baby (11year old) cat to Austin Urban Vet. Their process, staff and facility was 5/5. Dr. Heidi was professional yet warm and lovable towards my pet. I’d recommend this vet to anyone in Austin. Top notch!

I’m so glad I picked Austin Urban Vet. This is by far the best place I’ve ever taken my pets. Everyone there is super nice and helpful. Dr Jessica is awesome! She is super responsive, even on the weekends, when it comes to questions or help. She’ll find a way to get you a quick appointment if you really need it. Having a great customer experience (pets and their humans) is definitely what this place is all about!

Our very first visit for both Ruby (puppy) and Lea (cat) was fantastic! Although we couldn't go in due to COVID, the entire team made us feel welcome and informed on what they were doing. They allowed us time to ask questions and took their time in explaining everything. We didn't feel forced with any recommendations they made as they only offered information so we could make more informed decisions. We will 100% be using them for our pet needs in the future. Called to get medical records for my puppy that I just adopted from a friend of mine, was told he had to call to authorize which I completely understand. I then asked can my vet call and get the records the receptionist Emily apparently doesn't know how to do her job and said that's not possible which I found odd; my friend still had to call. So I had to cancel my puppies appointment until the original owner called y'all, my pup had an ear infection I ended up taking him to an emergency hospital because everything was booked out at least 3 weeks. My friend then calls me and says that he called y'all, and was told the new vet can call and get my dogs medical information no problem, I wasted time, money and on top of that Emily was very rude about my problem and took no accountability for the confusion or empathy and even cutting me off and talking over me completely unprofessional. Terrible experience!

This place is awesome the staff is very friendly and helpful. My puppy i had for 14yrs was diagnosed with cancer about 6 months ago I had surgery done to remove a tumor. And at that time the doctor said it would spread there's not much more that can be done just make sure he is comfortable in the last few months he had developed more tumors and was getting worse I lost my job because of covid and I had just recently had to move out of where I was living. the doctors at Austin urban vet Center helped me put my old puppy to sleep so he would not be in any more pain.

When I moved to Austin over 4 years ago, I needed to find a vet to help my elder dog with her allergies. I found Austin Urban Vet during my search and not only use them for my elder dog and my new puppy, but have also used them for the doggy daycare and their Pawstin dog walking and dog transportation service. The transportation service was helpful when I had my older dog in daycare and was not able to pick my dog up before it closed. My dogs walk in happy to see their friends at Austin Urban Vet, and leave just as happy.

I love this office so much. My little chihuahua gets scared at the vet and has bitten other vets in the past, but has never ever had an issue here because they are so kind and gentle with him. I've been taking him here for a year now and have loved every doctor and staff member I've interacted with. They go out of their way to be kind and thorough in their exams. I also got my dog a deep teeth cleaning here last year and they found an infected molar other vets had missed. I'll be a lifelong customer at Austin Urban Vet :)
