We had two bad experiences with our dog that was boarded with them where our dog got sick, twice. We understand that sometimes, something can go wrong. In fact, we gave them the benefit of the doubt after our dog got kennel cough, even though we were not thrilled with how it was handled. But, a second incident occurred and our dog got a bacterial infection on his skin after bathing. They handled it very poorly, refusing to take any responsibility. Because of this, I would not recommend this establishment. If something goes wrong, they will not step up and own responsibility and will not do anything to make it right. And, if needed, put the blame on you somehow. And, I expect an aggressive, defensive response from the owner to this, as she has done with all negative reviews. 1) Kennel Cough. Our dog came home from boarding with kennel cough. I am not naive and realize that this can happen. However, the facility was aware that other dogs had this while our dog was boarded. Instead of calling or texting owners with dogs at risk, they sent a long, general newsletter about the facility, promotions they had, etc. And, way at the bottom of that newsletter, in the small print, it said something about an incident where dogs they boarded had contracted kennel cough, that it had never happened before, and so on. It was not an "alert - your dog was exposed" notification. As a result, our dog suffered from being sick longer than needed because we were not on high alert for symptoms. It ended up costing a few hundred to get treatment and there was no offer of restitution in any way which would have been a good gesture. And, what irritated further was that they asked us to get a laboratory test for kennel cough on our tab. The vet was like "this is obvious - he has kennel cough. I can test but it will just cost you guys a few hundred more for what?". This way of (not) handling it was wrong, plain, and simple. 2) Skin bacteria infection as a result of bathing before grooming. We had our dog boarded and scheduled grooming before we picked him up. A few days after pickup, we noticed scabs forming along his back. We took him to the vet and they said that this typically happens when a bottle of shampoo is tainted with the bacteria. And, the bacterial infection causes scabs that initially appear along the line of where the shampoo was sprayed. With our dog, that is exactly what was occurring. There was a line of scabs directly along a stripe down the back, where shampoo would have, most likely, been sprayed when bathing. When contacting the owner about this, she again gave the "this has never happened in the 6 years" song and dance. But, she went a step further and bluntly refused to accept that it was from them - we had no direct proof or evidence that it could be factually traced to them. We are not the FBI so we didn't come with forensics teams into the facility and confiscate and test bottles and question people on the chain of custody. But, the circumstantial evidence was clear that our dog got this from their facility. He had nothing when he went there. It appeared a few days after he came home. The infection appeared where the vet said was typical from a tainted shampoo bottle. And, of course, no offer to pay for any vet bills that resulted. In fact, the owner gave sorts of recommendations to get our dog tested for allergies and other nonsense, a diversion tactic in my opinion. Getting our dog sick, twice, and not owning up to it the right way made it clear to us that we would never go back. And, almost laughable, was that the owner got aggressive and said we were not welcome back. That is the customer service you can expect if things go wrong - it's all on you and they think they are blameless and super awesome. We are exceptional owners. Our dog is treated with love and care. I fully expect an aggressive "it is your fault, impossible, we are blameless" reply from the owner, as she has done with 100% of negative reviews.

It's a great value for the business and professionalism, with knowledge of behavior Kris and her team constantly tries to introduce to her boarding facility. Rocky loved his time here. They were concious to do slow introductions with other dogs, playtime and then only sticking to one group for playtime since dogs do not do well meeting new dogs constantly. He was happy, healthy and well taken care of. They also communicated effectively what times needed to be dropped off, with what food, and when he could be picked up.

Kris truly goes above and beyond in the quality of care provided. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. They take their time with all the animals to be sure they are getting the best care! My dogs are my family, and I know they are in good hands !

Great staff and always professional. Toby loves all the attention and most times doesn’t want to go home after a stay there. I highly recommend them for all your pet needs !!!! Thanks so much Kris and staff for making Toby feel so special !!!!

Kris and the entire MLFP team do an outstanding job making sure our 2 doodles are safe and well taken care of when we leave them there while we travel. They are attentive and treat my dogs like their own. They also have two great groomers who do a fantastic job. My dogs can’t wait to go back and play with their friends. I highly recommend MLFP.

Kris and her staff are amazing. Quality care, lots of playtime, spotless facility. Pet safety is a priority there. My Maggy can’t wait to get out of the car & run to the front door super excited to be there for play day. No worries when we board Maggy while we are out of town. She is loved & is part of their family.

I just started taking Abby to my love for paws doggy daycare. She’s a senior but she loves the interaction with the other dogs her age. Today she got groomed and they did a fabulous job! We will be back for daycare and grooming!

Kris, the owner, is a true animal lover and takes her business very seriously. The facility is well run, clean, safe and most importantly to the dogs - fun! My dogs love to go visit even when not boarded. For the quality of care MLFP is a good value. All dogs are carefully screened for temperament and health before boarding. There is a pet sanctuary on-sight and Kris rescues dogs that would otherwise be put down…. I am the proud owner of two of these delightful creatures. She has a big heart and abundant patience for animals. I highly recommend MLFP!

We have an extremely timid dog who pulls at the leash to get inside. The grooming is spot on and they take great care of Buttercup. She gives 2 paws up, we give 5 stars!

Kris and her crew are amazing! The facility is kept clean and is up to date on safety precautions like fire prevention/detection and cameras in all areas as well as overnight staffing. The dogs (and cats) get loving attention with both day care & boarding.

We LOVE My Love Fur Paws. Our dog Jasper has so much fun at doggie day care. My husband & I have 100% trust with the entire staff & owners when we drop off Jasper. The front lobby is always immaculate as well as the other areas that I can see on Facebook & Instagram. I absolutely love that they take a ton of pictures you can view on Facebook & Instagram. This is my favorite part. Jasper comes home pooped out because they have a ton of play time for the dogs. I would absolutely refer friends & family to consider My Love Fur Paws as a boarding & day care for their beloved pets. Thank you all so much for taking care of our precious Jasper. We appreciate you so much for all his play time & caring for him when we are at work.

What a great experience I have had with MLFP and their wonderful staff! I love my fur baby and was so pleased to see that they have the same love for animals. I really appreciate that they get to know the fur baby first before taking them in. It's important to protect the other animals and see how they interact. My little one loved her experience and was trained by the "AMAZING Kris". The Doggy Training Camp is really great and I am so grateful!

Personal care for your pet! There's no better place and no other place I'd leave my dog!! Kris and her employees really do care about the animals! It shows in their actions and their words. Trust me, you won't regret leaving your pet with them and once you do you probably won't leave them with anyone else! I have started taking my dog here to be groomed and this is where I'll be bringing him from now on. The groomer, Tonya Gunn, does a great job and she loves the animals just like Kris and the others that work there do. Again, I can't say enough good things about My Love Fur Paws! Please don't hesitate to take your animal there for grooming, boarding or even day care. It's definitely the best place you'll ever find. I promise you won't regret doing there.

Great facility and team! This is the only place I trust to take care of my dog while I'm away. My dog comes back happy and healthy each time. I drive more than 30 mins to drop her off because the care and attention are worth it. Keep doing what y'all are doing!

We have been sending our dogs for daycare and boarding here for several years. we love the peace of mind, not having to worry if they are being cared for and happy. Our dogs happily go in to play and come home nice and tired.

Their "love fur paws" shows in everything they do! We, and our dogs, could not be happier! Kris and the staff put a lot of effort into finding just the right activities, food and sleeping situation that would work BEST for Junior & Wally. Not just OK, but the BEST for the dogs. They are very attentive to the animals' responses and level of happiness, and are determined to find the right mix to keep them healthy and happy. The spa services, too, are excellent. Simply perfect!

This place is awesome. We take our schnauzer here all the time for day care as well as overnight boarding. The staff is fantastic and the place is always clean. Book ahead of time, because they do get busy! A+++

My pets just LOVE My Love Fur Paws! The LOVE animals and you can tell when you walk in the door! Kris has such a heart of all of our beloved pets. She rescues, has a rescue farm, and loves on our pets like her own. Her business came our of her love for these precious animals! They play outdoors, have special condos indoors and even water play which my babies love! They know our pets so well! They even post pics on their facebook page so you can watch what your fur babies are up to while relaxing on vacay. Thanks Kris for a taking such good care of our fur babies!

My Westie dog LOVES going to day care and boarding here! She is so happy to go every time. Every single person that works here seems to love the animals like they are family. We also have our dog groomed here, and they do a great job. We started bringing our dog when she was a puppy, and they were extremely helpful in getting her the right training and having patience as we worked through all of her terrier challenges! I am generally over protective of my pets, but I do not have any hesitation about leaving her in their care!

They’re charging you half price even in Covid conditions… so I either call and cancel appt when ive tested positive for COVID and still get charged… or I show up and expose everyone? Poor service DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This is the greatest place! We boarded our dog for a week and had some 1:1 training sessions with Kris and when we got back, he was a whole new dog. They sent pictures and videos and you can tell they have a huge love for animals. We are excited to send him back to doggie daycare to see his friends. Highly recommend.

My Chi Carlos loves to go play here and while he is at play we can have him groomed. I love this place I feel safe leaving my little chihuahua. Carlos Says 5 paw up ????

We started to bring our year 9 month old F1B goldendoodle to My Love Fur Paws to get some much needed training and it was a great experience. Not only did he get amazing training, he also had a full day of playing with his pup friends and would come home completely exhausted - just what we like! Since then, we've left him for overnight boarding and gotten him groomed there as well. It's about 30 minutes away for us, but totally worth the drive. I fully trust the staff and our pup LOVESSSS anytime we head that way and literally can't contain his excitement when we pull up. Highly recommend especially for those of you anxious dog parents who want to make sure your pet will be loved and cared for and kept safe when you're away!!!

We’ve been taking our dogs to My Love Fur Paws for 5 years. Before we moved to Austin, we used a number of boarding facilities and not one comes close to MLFP! When our dogs have an upset tummy, Kris gives them pumpkin and rice. Once when we were out of town, she even took one to the vet for us. Our dogs love going- they get so excited and run inside. Highly recommend!
