Puppy mill. My puppy came with mange. Was supposed to be 8-10 pounds full grown, is 18 lbs. love my puppy no matter what, but she is dishonest.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I would not trust this seller. She only seems interested in making money and does not care about her buyers or what kind of home her puppies go to. She was selling a 3 year old maltipoo. My husband and I spoke to her on the phone on Fri and set up a meeting the next day for us and our girls to meet the dog. My oldest is allergic to dogs and we wanted to make sure this dog was truly hypoallergenic and she would not have a reaction to her. before we bought her. The dog would not be ready until August 15th so she said we could make a $100 deposit either by cash or check to reserve her after we met her. She specifically stated that she does not take credit cards. We drove 2 hours the next day to meet Amanda and the dog. We arrived an hour earlier than expected so we texted to let her know that we were already in town and if we could meet earlier. We were literally in front of the house (which by the way had an overgrown yard and did not look well kept), and she called to tell us that she had just accepted an online payment for the dog from someone who bought her without ever calling or meeting her. We explained that we had driven 2 hours to meet the dog and it was our understanding that the dog was available and reserved for us since we had made arrangements to come see her. She said it was our fault for not coming on Fri and there was nothing she could do. The decent and right thing to do would have been to decline the online payment and tell the other person that she had a family here now looking at the dog. We were speechless and devastated. My girls and I were both crying because we have been trying to find a hypoallergenic dog for the past 6 months or more and we thought this dog would be ours. We had no option other than to drive the 2 hours back home. A total of 4 hours completely wasted! I would never want to do business with someone who treated people the way she treated my family and I. If she treats people like this, I can't imagine how she treats her dogs.

DO NOT BUY. This is an irresponsible breeder who does not genetically test her pets and lies about the mix and size. I bought “Charles” last summer, a white maltipoo male. I was told he would be 10 lbs and I can take him to a vet to get him checked out and return him in 3 day’s if I didn’t want him if he had an issue. Well, I was told at the vet he had a 2/6 for a heart murmur. The vet also said he could grow out of this and it wasn’t necessarily something that can effect his life. I decided to keep Charles, who I now named Kona, because I loved his personality. Jokes on me cause now his heart murmur is a 4/6, I have to take him to a $700 appointment once a year for an echocardiogram to keep an eye on his heart. Other genetic disorders: he is an albino, as you can see by the pink skin and red eyes and nose, which isn’t for sure a problem right now, but could have problems down the line. He also was crypt, and because of that plus his heart murmur, his neuter was VERY expensive. Because of all these costs, I have asked for a partial refund on him. I have also asked her to stop breeding this line. Oh and did I mention he’s 25 pounds and looks mostly poodle?!? I love him but wow he is not the 10 lb maltipoo promised. I also asked her to stop this lineage because it is very unhealthy and she obviously doesn’t know what she’s doing. She still hasn’t responded to this day to me. Feel free to ask me more if you have questions but DO NOT BUY

Do not trust this breeder!!! She claims to breed MALTIPOO's but your likely to end up with a strange mix of POOLE that will end up looking anything but.. when your paying $450 or higher you should be able to trust that your getting what you payed for... This back yard breeder needs to close her doors, so that no one else gets lied to or ends up buying a sick puppy..

I love my baby . I'm grateful that he is happy and healthy. The strange thing is Amanda told me that he was going to be around 8 pounds because hes parents were that size He's about 15 pounds now and still growing . I dont think she was honest. Therefore, I would not recommend her .

Amanda was very helpful. She answered my online inquiry right away. She patiently answered my many many questions. I can't attest to the actual breed of the dog we got but she sure is cute and we love her already.

Don’t get me wrong I love my dog so so very much but I was lied to saying he was bred with a purebred TOY poodle and it was a mini.Not only was it a mini but it wasn’t purebred it was a mix and the Maltese was as well.

I bought our maltipoo puppy from Amanda 3 months ago and she is the sweetest and most adorable little puppy we could have ever wished for. We named her Tasha and she is always happy go lucky and she makes us bust out laughing all the time????. We love her to pieces????. When the time comes when we want another fur baby, we will go back to Amanda! Thank you for our precious baby!

I had previously left a good review bc the service was good, but I have been pretty disappointed as my pup has gotten older. I was assured he’d be between 6-8 pounds bc that’s how big his parents were, but my dog now weighs 12 and still has some growing to do since he is only 7 months old. He also has a massive overbite which sometimes affects his eating and has a growth in his abdomen area which I need to go get checked out. This pup was very expensive compared to what other breeders charged and I have to say, as much as I love my dog and wouldn’t give him up, it is frustrating being told false information (Amanda told me his overbite was him sticking out his tongue. At the time I believed her bc he didn’t have any teeth) and the fact that he’s bigger than I was told upsets me. I hope the growth is nothing serious as I would be devastated if it was. Overall I’m very disappointed.

All the puppies are so cute!!! Amanda is amazing with all the puppies and the care she gives them is top notch!!! She makes sure their health is first. Her grooming techniques are awesome, too. She is very nice and gives good direct directions on how to care for your puppies, once you get them home. Especially, if it's too soon for them to be outside. I've gotten 4 of my fur babies from her and with following directions, they have grown to be healthy, spoiled dogs. We will purchase more down the road!!! Thank you!!!

Amanda runs a puppy mill. Do not buy from her! I purchased a maltipoo and a chipoo from her February of last year they are not even a year old. She told me the chipoo was only going to get to be 15 pounds, I just took her in to get fixed and she's already 37 pounds. I was lied to about the breed..do not believe anything this woman says all she is is after your money. Also, she doesn't let you see the location where the so called breeding is taking place, I wonder why?

Do not trust Amanda Schnell!! She lies about the breed just to make a quick buck! She will trick you! We bought a supposed "2nd Generation Maltipoo" and I can tell you for sure that she is NOT a maltipoo!!! The dog has SHORT and STRAIGHT hair! I have a REAL maltipoo at home that I got from a RESPONSIBLE breeder and this puppy looks like a CHIHUAHUA!!! There is a YouTube video from AUSTIN LOCAL NEWS about her "business"! Search "Amanda's Puppies BBB" on YouTube. Oh! And did I mention that her business used to be called AMANDA'S PUPPIES! She probably changed the name due to all of the HORRIBLE reviews and dissatisfied customers she had! Check her reviews on YELP, BBB, YELLOW PAGES, THEY'RE ALL BAD! She runs a PUPPY MILL! She won't even let you see the puppies' parents. She'll meet you at a Walgreens or something of the like in HUTTO, TEXAS! Also... she posts OVER 20 NEW PUPPIES EVERY FEW WEEKS!!! Guys, small dogs can only have about 1-5 puppies per litter! And the fact that she's posting over 20 puppies at a time makes me wonder what's really going on there. Oh, and when I asked her how long dogs are pregnant SHE SAID 6 MONTHS!! Wow! What a joke! Dogs are actually pregnant for about 2 months! She's a SCAM ARTIST!! Don't buy a dog from her!! If you want a Maltipoo buy one from Bows and Toes Kennel in Houston/Brownsboro. Those puppies are actually REGISTERED and VET CHECKED!! And they WILL let you see their operation! Oh and Amanda Schnell does not get her puppies vet checked! She supposedly deworms and vaccinates them herself. And right now July 5, 2017 she has a puppy on her website named "Sapphire". The puppy is supposedly a 2nd generation. Get a load of this, she writes "Genetics not guaranteed". WOW! How would you not know the genetic background of a puppy that you're selling?!?! I'm telling you that she either runs a puppy mill or buys puppies for extremely low prices at ILLEGAL puppy auctions and turns around and sells them for what they look like AND much higher than their worth. AMANDA SCHNELL does NOT care about these innocent puppies! And when I made claims about her tricking us and lying to us about the breed of our puppy she did not rebuttal which ABSOLUTELY shows that she is a liar!! Amanda, God says that the truth will come out and I WILL do everything in my power to get your lame excuse of a business SHUT DOWN if you do not stop what you're doing. Stick to real estate.
