My puppy loves Hearts and paws. She starts jumping with excitement as soon as we pull in. She loves her puppy play time! We have completed the puppy class and are almost finished with the basic companion class both have been awesome. They make dog training very simple and enjoyable for myself and my puppy. They have also helped me personally to work through any issues that come along with a new dog. For example puppy biting, excessive barking, crate training and so on. I Definitely recommend hearts and paws!

Not sure what exactly they do during the day... but they're doing something right because my dogs start jumping crazy at "daycare? Who wants to go to daycare?"

Sent an email a week and a half ago. Still no response. Sent a direct email to the boarding/training coordinator as well and no response. I have heard really good things about Hearts and Paws and right now I am disappointed.

They were very detailed in their assessment of our dog's playcare experience and knowledgeable in giving advice on how to best meet our dog and family's needs.

They were sweet and informed me well when I’d call to know about my pup. The Three stars is because the place is dirty, and my pup got a bacteria after onboarding which I know can happen, but the fact the place is dirty gives me a lot to say.

We've primarily used Hearts and Paws for dog classes.. We started with their more advanced obedience class which was great to get some more training outside of normal puppy training classes. The trainers were fantastic. We also took our pup to their beginner agility class and had a blast. Our dog really liked it and we've learned a lot. Tons of patience on Kelly's side, but really great. Excited to come back after COVID to continue!

Wow!!!! We took our 16 week puppy to Super Dog Camp where he stayed for two weeks. After our pup came home he was calmer and more well behaved. In addition, Diana taught us all the basic commands (verbal/and hand signals) that he had learned. It didn't matter that our dog was in a different environment as he could easily do all the commands. Our 9 year old son was able to continue the training easily. The nipping, chewing, and jumping up dropped dramatically. He now only chews on his dog toys and not the furniture. We didn't have the tools to best each our pup and they taught as what we could do-everything was tailored for our specific needs. Thank you!! We continue to go for socializing purposing and more advanced training too. I even signed up my son for companion summer camp. Oh, and the ENTIRE staff was complimentary of our dog and were extremely nice and welcoming.

So this did happen last year, but I fell it is worth mentioning. Their puppy classes are pretty good, but I think their boarding service is terrible. My puppy hated it there more than anywhere else he had ever been. Also he got kennel cough so I have some doubts about the cleanliness of the boarding. Diana did teach good glasses though if that's what you're looking for.

Diana Smith (owner) and her team of trainers are amazing. We have had 5 dogs trained by Hearts and Paws and would not consider taking our dogs any other place.

It's a long commute for us since we moved outside Austin but this is the only place we'll leave our dog. She's really suspicious of strangers but the staff at Hearts and Paws are very knowledgeable about dog training and behavior so they know how to put her at ease. She's also taken several agility and other training classes there and enjoyed them immensely.

My dog and I took 3 classes at Hearts and Paws. The training was useful for both of us. I was impressed by the individual attention and the explanations provided by the instructors. The facilities included both large indoor and outdoor areas which was great for moving around in without feeling crowded. We had a lot of fun during the classes!

I remember when I got my first Puppy. I didn’t know what to do. One on one training and puppy classes helped me and my 2 puppies now to bond and learn. Now 4 years later. I have behaved puppies and I am very lucky that I got the training done early on. I did 3 years with hearts and paws when my puppies were little. Thank you Reem

We have taken both our dogs here for training. Neither were well trained, prior to their sessions. We have been very happy with the progress they mad here. The owner and staff are just wonderful people who truly care about their job. We have also sent our daughter here for summer camps with her dog. Great place!

We took our puppies through the puppy course and through basic obedience. We receive compliments all the time about how well behaved our dogs are. I know it’s because of the great foundation they received from Hearts and Paws.

A great daycare for you canine friends. The staff are genuine, and care for your pet like they were their own. They also offer boarding for when you have to out of town, and agility training as well!

I met Diana when she taught a class for her son at DePaw. My dog is a very fearful dog and does not like people but he went up to Diana immediately which shocked both my husband and I. Class was so positive and fun. My dog, husband and I all had a blast. She taught me something to work on with my dog that I have never seen before and I feel like this could really work and help him be less fearful of people. I am sure we will be taking a class from her and look so forward to getting to spend more time with her.

Great staff! Their main focus is the dogs, so sometimes the administrative stuff falls to the bottom of the list. My pooch loves the staff when we board her there. The kennels are a little rough, but the outdoor space is nice.

My daughter, who was seven at the time, had a wonderful week at camp. It was so great for her to be able to bring our own dog and I feel like we got a happy camper and a better-trained dog for just the price of camp. I understand that they also supply dogs if someone doesn't have one to bring, which is awesome. We live in another state now, and I have not found anything like it. We are planning on returning to the camp some summer when we visit Texas.

My daughter has attended summer camps at H&P four yeas in a row. Children and dogs love it! Camps are great for kids who love the family dog, but the dog loves mom (or dad) best. They get a chance to bond and practice communication (canine and human!).

We usually take are babies there at least twice a week. Staff is very friendly and the dog the same to love it!

Wouldn't recommended Hearts & Paws since TWICE the trainer failed to show up for scheduled private lessons. Instead, Taurus Academy on McNeil came to my house and provided excellent guidance in one easy, convenient session! Successfully following the tips for walking a 'energetic' pup. Despite my negative experience H&P emailed me asking for a review which means they don't even bother to keep good info about their clients.
