We have been taking our cats to Griffith Small Animal Hospital for 20 years. They have earned our trust through their consistent care of our cats. Special call out to Dr. Miner for thoroughly explaining medical issues and treatments to us and providing excellent care.

Both of the DVM’s I’ve seen truly care about my pets. They reasonably recommend treatments while explaining all options of care. I’ll drive across town to ensure this high quality of care for my dogs.

Dr. Griffith always makes me feel so comfortable and confident that my dog is in good hands. He explains everything so well and truly cares about your pet.

My family has loved GSAH for more than 25 years. They were recommended by a friend who was an animal technician there ages ago, and we haven’t thought to go anywhere else since. We have never had anything other than friendly, positive experiences for all of our furry family. They offer boarding in addition to everything for the health of our animals, so we feel they are in the best of hands at GSAH while we are away. Staff and doctors are professional, knowledgeable, helpful, honest, fair, and kind. I cannot recommend Dr. Griffith and Miner enough. GSAH is a truly exceptional animal hospital in Austin.

We have used Griffith vet hospital for about 30 years. The people they have there, from the ones who greet you to the vets, are always very competent, communicative, and friendly. We have a primary vet, but if she is not available, we don’t hesitate to go to anyone else in the practice. We just know that whoever is there for us will be excellent.

I've been repeatedly touched and delighted with Dr Griffith's attention to my little old sweet dogs issues. He seem to really be thinking about what's best under these hard circumstances and trying to do the right thing. It must be hard but he's consistenly willing to think thru the situation and walk me thru his thinking and consider my questions and concerns like we are partners in my pets health and well being. The staff (I apologize for not knowing your names specifically since we communicate via text) do such a good job communicating promptly, and with clear intent to help navigate the logistics and making sure they follow thru and get back to me when needed. I know these have been tough times esp for human and pet health care providers but if you are havig a hard time you sure don't let it show and if you did, the confidence and trust I feel would not be harmed if you had a real-human moment or two. Our relationship with you is high on my lists of things I am grateful for. One thing I'd suggest is that you included your names on text. It helps me feel like I am talking to an actual person!

We love that Griffith small animal hospital took really good care of our Loki , while we were out of town. I would totally trust them again with my furr baby! Everyone in the office from from desk to vets are professional, caring and responsive. They've taken extremely good care of both our large dogs and have been readily available to answer questions and respond to fears. I can't recommend them enough.

Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Matt is so professional and friendly. They mass Genny feel comfortable and me feel valued.

Dr. Kelly and her assistant were so kind and patient with our cat George. They knew all the tricks to keep him calm during his exam. Thank you both!!

My pups Rafe and Riley recently became clients of Dr. Kelly. She was thorough, answered all concerns, and treated my Doxie boys and me with great respect. Her tech, Ellen, was wonderful in assuaging my pups’ nervousness. I love this practice.

Dr. Krueger and her assistant took good care of our cat recently. I would highly recommend.

The staff and doctors at Griffith are great about managing my aging Basset’s declining health while also managing my emotions about the whole situation. It is easy to talk with them about the real value my dog is or isn’t going to get from a particular course of treatment and I know they will advise me well through the end of her life. There is no pressure to spend money on treatments that just keep her around for my own emotional needs and don’t offer her good quality of life, and I appreciate that balance.

I have a very challenging chihuahua mix and Dr. Griffiths team is very helpful and kind and the seasoned techs really helped with Hanks nail trim and other treatments he needed. They were very caring and gentle with him. Luckily Hank is is a very cute puppy or they might not let us come back LOL.
