I am dependent here, I been here a lot,here make me feel suitable,yap that was principal,that is why I preference here ,so last time I been there ,i got my first sulcate tortoise,that’s challenge for me, I think I can do it, I searched a lot solution on my laptop, and ready for a lot facilities,and replacing a lot,fun, I still happy, I very recommend here

Trying to get a pet bird here was impossible. When trying to ask for assistance or more info on the birds here, the employees didn't know anything about them. They didn't even know anything about the shop itself. All my questions were answered with either a "I dunno" or "maybe?" When they got someone more knowledgeable, they were just insanely rude. Even trying to get a bird feeder from them was just not an option. This place seems to have proper equipment, but I had to drive off to another pet shop just to get what I needed. The shop here was just poorly ran from staff who didn't know what their doing, to management who just weren't interested in talking to their customers. What an awful place.

Nothing for sale if you ask about say a rabbit oh it’s not for sale that store is so run down and need a new staff. They have birds there oh there sold ? So if you are wanting a new pet fish to birds good luck.

They have a nice selection! They offer salt water, fresh water fish; as well as, small mammals, a variety of reptiles, and birds! Employees seem passionate about their animals and are willing to answer any questions you have about them! They also have a tortoise named Alice that roams about the store! :)

I bought a lovebird about 3 months ago and its doing fine, glad I got one, but now I want a second bird especially a Cockatiel but last time I went they told me all of them were bought and I wonder when are you getting new ones for sale, I put my number on a waiting list and hopefully I do get a call for when one is available.

They treat you well there.

First time in this place. Crickets and dog chewy's. Alice is an awesome specimen but the day she hurts a little kid won't be good. I never let customers interact with my Nile or Burmese for that very reason when I had my shop. The kid that helped me was super friendly and the other one didn't seem all that friendly. Place was clean in the front and the salt tank looked maintained. Would buy crickets again.

A one-stop shop since I have an aquarium and reptiles. Plus their rewards program gives 10% off which drops saltwater down below $1/gallon

We’re looking to buy a tortoise, but are new to having a reptile so we wanted to learn more about them. The staffs are nice, however, they don’t want to help you unless you’re going to buy it right then and there. Literally that is what they start the conversation. Had they ever thought why people come to a pet store in the first place? We explained that eventually, yes, but would like to know more before taking that step. They told us they had to ask the store owner and left us to help ourselves. Poor customer service, the place is a mess, their pets look uncomfortable and serious sanitation issues.

Be very careful when dealing with Gallery of Pets. They take no responsibility for the pets they sell. Even if it’s only been one week since the purchase of the sweetest little bunny that died during the night. The person I spoke to was completely without compassion as she told me that there is nothing they can do for me. I heard the employee say “this woman is going to yell at you” as she handed the phone to the manager. I was already grieving the loss of the beautiful bunny and then belittled by the employees.

Great local business, family owned feel. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to buy a bird

Great pet store with an interesting variety of animals.

Ridiculously over priced!!! Bought super worms from them and they charge. 30 cents per worm. And put them in a plastic bag, with no ventilation so most of them were dead by the time I got home. And the rude employee made it seem like it was my fault. absolutely no reason why they do not use ventilation containers especially at that price.

There cages and care for birds are horrible, i mean you can even see plucking in most birds which tells how stressed they are. I think its fine yall are breeding them but I think y'all should have a section for birds that got abandoned/need to be re homed.

No kitties or pups, but a good selection of reptiles and an amazing selection of dish. And don't put fingers into the bird cages. You will get bitten.

Not a very welcoming experience being that it was my first time there, although the two young ladies in the bird area were very nice and friendly. They have some great animals to look at, but I probably won't go back though.

My mom brought our toy poodle here to be groomed in the '80s. This wonderful store has been in NW Austin for decades. Great variety, wonderful staff and a very clean and organized store. I love looking at all the cool birds!

I recently moved to the area and have fallen in love with this place! I come here every week now and have enjoyed every trip! Sebastian is my go to guy for my fish tanks and I immediately look for him as soon as. I walk in the store!

Employees and volunteers are all super nice and friendly! It's clear that they all really care about the well-being of their animals and gave us advice on taking care of our own fur and feather babies back at home. My family snd I have been going here for years and it's always been such a delight to go visit when we're nearby.

Was our 1st time going here and was pleased at everything they had. Had a great selection of fish. Had lots of cute birds. And lots of good foods, toys and lots of other stuff to pick from.
