Dr. Dees is a great doctor. Not just concerned about my old basset hounds eyes but the whole dog. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Not outrageously expensive for a specialist. Works with you to preserve your dog's eyesight.

Good place and friendly staff and doc. Everything went smooth on our visit. Looking forward to the follow up and making sure our dog's eye is on the mend. Some sticker shock for the prices. Hoping it will be worth it.

Came here to get a diagnosis for my cat, Milly’s eye. The staff here is very welcoming, gentle, patient, thorough and informative. They are really doing a great job. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants their animal companion to receive exceptional vision care. Thank you Eye Care for Animals!

The tenderness and patience shown to my pet was exemplary. Professional , knowledgeable, and welcoming atmosphere was comforting and made me feel I made the right choice for the eye care for my pet. Wonderful experience.

The technicians here are marvelous! They’re high energy and very loving to the dogs that come in. The two doctors I met were also very nice. This clinic is very expensive, which I expected. But because of the money going into the services, I was disappointed in the quality of service from reception. Half of the time they were split on being very friendly in person or very annoyed/indifferent on the phones. I didn’t get a follow-up call for after my dogs surgery, which was disappointing. I also didn’t get a reminder call for my first visit; I was concerned because they don’t do confirmation texts or emails, so I called the day before and they seemed annoyed that I called them before they called me. For her second visit, I decided to call the day before again because I didn’t have any instructions for the surgery the next morning. I was told they would call me later to give me instructions and they did, but it was off putting and inconvenient to have to wait for a later phone call at an unknown time. Especially because they failed to call before. The thing that really bothers me about my experience here is that they discovered small cataracts on my dogs eyes at her first visit and never mentioned them to me. She saw a male doctor originally who made the discovery, then a different doctor who did her surgery, and today in her follow up visit the cataracts were brought up nonchalantly in passing. I asked for clarification (which eye?) and did get some (both), but the doctor literally opened and closed the door to leave as I was asking questions. I was really caught off guard and disappointed, especially because my main concern for my dogs surgery was maintaining her eyesight. I can’t imagine why something that is important enough to chart wouldn’t be important enough to share with the owner. Especially a progressive, blindness-causing issue. ESPECIALLY for such a high office visit base cost.

The staff made me, and my little companion feel safe and comfortable. Update, we were given some drops to put in our dog’s eyes to try to fix her sight. After a month and a half she started walking into walls. We looked up the medication that she was given and found out that one of the side effects is blindness. Why would you give a medication that causes blindness to treat eye issues?

Dr. Dees is really great with our dog, and does a good job of explaining things and monitoring the condition of his eyes. Staff is always friendly and helpful when calling, and we're happy with the treatment we've received here.

While traveling thru Texas, our 13yr old Chihuahua needed urgent eye care for a serious condition. #EyeCareforAnimals got us in quickly. They were compassionate and Sooo Great with our Foxie. Dr. Dean quickly diagnosed her condition. He explained everything in a manner that was easy to follow & understand. Her check up 1 month later went wonderfully. **their C-19 protocol is in place, and even though I waited in the car during the 2nd appt, they called and kept me updated thruout** I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Eye Care for Animals. ????% ☺

Amazing!! Dr Shifrin restored my baby’s vision! He was amazingly thorough! He was very honest and caring. The moment they brought her out to me, I knew it was all worth it. The nursing staff is equally amazing! Megan, Ashley, Mercedes, and others were so very caring! I knew my baby was in good hands! They truly love their jobs!

Dr Dees and the whole team took amazing care of my girl Siena! They were kind, empathetic and explained her condition patiently. Her regular vet didn’t think her eye discharge was a problem, but we wanted a second opinion. We are so happy we found this place!

Eye Care for Animals and specifically my cat's doctor, Dr Paglia, are wonderful! My boy is great at any vet's office, but this practice does a phenomenal job at creating a calm environment during the appointment to encourage less stress for those patients who become scared or anxious. I feel like he always receives a very thorough exam and the exam results are well discussed with me. Dr Paglia also makes a point to discuss his overall health and anything that may contribute to eye health issues. Definitely recommend!

I have mixed feelings about this place, but overall I would recommend. The first doctor we saw (unfortunately I can't remember the name) didn't listen to our concerns and misdiagnosed our dog (who has Glaucoma), which lead to him losing vision in his left eye. However, when we asked for a different doctor and took him back in we got Dr. Dees who is one of the very best vets EVER. Since our dog has been in treatment we've been able to slow the progression of his Glaucoma, we have treated the Lyme Disease causing it, and Dr. Dees and the amazing techs have helped us every step of the way. Our first experience was awful, yes, I blame that Dr. not the practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Dees and the rest of the staff is so professional, so helpful, and so kind - we love them!

Thought my dog was going to lose her eye. But when I went to them for a second opinion we didn't have to. She went on some drops did some blood work and everything is going great.

Life changing. My 4 year old chocolate lab was diagnosed with cataracts. Couldn't see. Couldn't fetch anymore. Now after surgery my lab is fetching again, enjoying walks, managing stairs.

I've been here 4-5 times with my bentley. The first time was when we first moved to Texas. The vet was very upsetting and told us bentley would probably be blind within the year and that he needed a specialist. Got here and it was not that bad...they educated me and we started drops. Bentley recently had a break through ulcer with infection per our vet.... immediately called here to have him seen and see what we can do. Again...not as bad as the picture my vet painted. I'm so thankful for y'all and I'm happy to drive the hour here to get great care for my Bentley.
