Mud Puppies is my pets second home. They treat her like family. The staff is so amazing and I’m always grateful for the genuine love they show all the dogs.

I wouldn't recommend Sara she did bad job on my puppy. I asked to clip hairs from my puppy's ear didn't do nothing my puppy came out worse than how I left him did a nasty ugly hair cut Very disappointed will NOT TAKE HIM BACK ????

I find it hard to go anywhere else. They know my dog by sight alone and that's her second family as far as I'm concerned. The process book a play day is pretty seamless and it's affordable. I also love that they send us reminders when she is due to get her vaccines updated. All in all, my favorite place to send my dog for the day.

My dog can get nervous with nail trims, but seems to do fine here. Staff is friendly. One star off for some confusions with scheduling.

They listen to my preferences, always satisfied. Easy to coordinate with and competitive prices.

This review is long overdue! Three years ago when I was broke in college student and fostering dogs, I called around to a number of groomers asking if they could help me bathe my overly smelly foster dog who hated water for a reasonable price. Many places didn’t care to help, but the guy who picked up the phone at Mudpuppies was overly kind and offered me a discount and a price far better than others in the area. I ended up seeing him later on the local news a few weeks later and saw he was a co owner and involved with Austin humane society! It’s years later and I have a dog of my own that I will only bring here :) the staff is always extremely friendly, and my dog always looks great after a grooming! I’ve used a different groomer almost every time and my dog always looks fabulous (he is a Duck Tolling retriever, so he can be squirmy and hard to groom!) the staff is great, the prices are good and the team really seems to care about dogs and be great people. So 10/10 reccomend!

They did a great job with our pom Flash, he did no come out scared and they took their time explaining the process and letting us know how he did.

We (including our dog) love Mud Puppies. Their groomers are the only ones that have ever been able to successfully trim his nails and still be somewhere he’s excited to return to.

Been taking our dogs here for a few years. They always have fun during playcare and we’ve had good experiences with boarding too. Wish there was more outdoor space but overall, this place is great. Staff is super friendly!

Our first month of playcare down, and I have to say we are BIG fans of Mud Puppies Riverside. My pup comes home worn out every time, and I’m happy to know he’s getting love and attention while I’m at work from their friendly staff.

My sweet Honey definitely had pandemic nails and we’ve finally felt safe enough to take her in. I called several places and Mud Puppies were so kind on the phone and even better when they took care of Honey. This is definitely going to be our place from now on. They brought Honey out, holding her like the baby she is.

They were really quick with my dogs nails.

For some reason I was having a hard time finding a place that would groom my papillon exactly the way I wanted. I have been all over Austin. Now that I found Mud Puppies, I don't have to worry about that anymore. This place is great. They listen. They are helpful. They provide a bunch of great services. I'm super happy. Which is weird, cause I can always find something to complain about...

Super easy to bath your pup and no clean up. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Ashlea is awesome. She loves our pup, and is excited whenever we bring him to visit for a grooming. Mud Puppies should give her a raise!

Overall a decent experience boarding my pooches here. Would be 5 stars but am a little disappointed with Jasmine’s demeanor. Will unfortunately be taking my business elsewhere next time.

The most friendly staff, and always do a great job! Amazing customer service, definitely recommend!

Terrible customer service the last 3 times I’ve attempted to go to this place. Just took my dog to get his nails trimmed and was told after 5 minutes “he didn’t let me” I’ve never been told this by a professional groomer. Furthermore I was also told “we don’t have time” to file his pads, just came off as being lazy and unhelpful. Such a waste of time.

Always friendly, excited to see our dog, and does a wonderful job! We really miss going inside to visit so will be happy when COVID is over. We always get nails trimmed and it’s quick. Grooming is easy to schedule and they make sure our dog looks and smells wonderful.

As professionals, when you go to a groomer you assume they have the skills and expertise to work with the client to get them what they want. This was our puppy's first groomers visit to primarily get his nails trimmed and hair trimmed around his eyes/paws/genital area. When we arrived, they were very nice but they didn't ask hardly any questions to get a good sense of what we wanted. We specifically asked for a teddy bear puppy trim for our goldendoodle - when we picked him up, he had been shaved down to 1/2" and given a poodle cut. This was on a 3 month old puppy and can permanently damage their adult coat! As groomers you should know better than that - as clients, WE knew better than that, that's why we didn't ask for a shave! All of his fluff is gone, and it would have taken a simple question of "so how long do you expect his fur to be after the trim?" to let us know that "puppy trim" or "teddy bear cut" means something vastly different to them.

I always take my pup, Lucy, here for a nail trim. They are awesome! Always have her in and out in 10 minutes.

The reviews don't lie. First time coming here and needed there help with our dog that needed a bath and some nail work done. Megan did a great job. For a shelter dog that isn't used to the process he was treated great. Fair pricing too. Glad to find a great groomer in town.

My sweet girl, Maeve, went for her first little trim and pro bath. Our groomer did such an amazing job with small details that made the biggest difference! We will definitely be back. Also Maeve seemed super happy when we picked her up and had the cutest bandana! Thank you, Mud Puppies!

My Pug had the full service. They did a great job and took great care of him. Really nice bunch of people. Highly recommend Mud Puppies.

I have to share the amazing story of this staff. I am an Independent advocate and during the pandemic not only did they help me train and take care of two extremely scared dogs, once these pups got adopted one got lost! When MUDD puppies found out they came to the rescue and the owner even got on his phone at midnight to plan the search because they cared about this dog truly! They came out to help look for her for 3 days all day long and once we found her the owner went and picked her up for me. I couldn’t ask for more genuine, kind and trusting people! They will take care of your dog as if it is their own. ❤️????

I went once. They couldn’t cut my puppies nails but still charged me for it.
