We love the staff here and the parking lot service since COVID. It’s relaxing and convenient, and I always know my dog is treated sweetly by the kind and gentle staff! They also advise of the twice annual discounts on anesthesia services (such as needed for dental cleaning,) so you can get a locked in quote for services when the deal is best.

Been bringing my dog here for over 3 years there prices are reasonable and are honest when you need to take your dog to surgery.

Very friendly and caring staff! Dr was straight forward, very knowledgeable and didn't try to give me the run around or take me for unnecessary charges. They got us in and out in a timely manner. No complaints at all! Thank y'all for caring for my babygirl!

I've been a long time client here, they are the best! Always professional, compassionate, and reliable. They recently treated our 10 yo kitty, I couldn't be happier. Great , friendly, efficient staff!

If you want your cat's nails clipped/trimmed go somewhere else. My cat used to get her nails clipped frequently in a clinic in Arboretum and never had any issues because my cat has a good temperament, however this place always has an excuse to not do the service. Twice, I ended up paying for a checkup when all I really needed was my cat's nails to be trimmed.

Good vets are hit or miss, but this one is definitely the best vet I've been to in a long time. The entire... staff is very friendly, patient, and genuinely cares about your pet. I would definitely recommend them and plan on staying with them as long as I live in the area. (Photo taken right after trip to vet).

After the first visit, they identified the root cause of several issues I've been treating my senior dog for for ten years! Just switched to Dessau for our three dogs based on a recommendation from a friend at the dog park and great reviews online. I had no idea until I visited Dessau that there was an underlying issue causing Trout's frequent ear infections, weight gain, lethargy, and skin "allergies." No other vet thought to ask if it might be his thyroid; they just treated the symptoms. It's been super convenient to get appointments so far, and everyone is friendly and competent. We are a difficult customer juggling three large dogs—two with special needs, but they made it easy. Great experience, and I would highly recommend.

My dog was attacked by another dog and received stitches at a pet ER. I noticed the top part of the stitch opened up slightly so I sent photos and called his vet Dessau Vet, and they said to bring him to be checked. The first photo is the top part of the wound open a little. The second was after Dr Trina Breaux decided to pull on the stitches where it made the entire thing open. She was very unprofessional, uncaring and nonchalant. I expressed my concerns to her and she said they wouldn’t be able to restitch him until next week or I could take him back to the vet ER. By this time I am livid because I have never received this type of treatment from that facility or from Dr Campbell. I called the ER from the examination room and sent them a photo of what the wound now looked like. I was told to bring him back. Dr Trina Breaux Came back in the room and asked me what I wanted her to do. At that point I was livid and said to just check me out because she did more damage to my dog than he had gone in with and wanted to do nothing to rectify it other than write a prescription.

They stop doing bath and grooming. The person did the grooming left the clinic. And they decided not to offer any longer.

When I was a child Dr Campbell saved my dog after he was kicked in the jaw by a cow. This was over 15 years ago . At the time she didn't know how to save him . She opened a book and from that book wired my australians jaw back and saved his life . This place is highly recommended her level of care and compassion still hold a place in my heart to this day . I will always go here first with any of my animals ! 5 star service here

I've been going to Dessau with my last two cats and they have been great. My pets are well cared for and they don't try to upsell like some of the chain vets in town.

Not saying I don't trust them with my cat, but I've never met or even talked to the vet, which honestly makes me uneasy. Also they seem VERY dog focused and they are quite expensive to boot. If you're looking for a place to take your cat, you could honestly do better in north Austin.

I'm no longer bringing my cat here. Today was the last nail in the coffin. My cat has upper respiratory problems and they have recommended that we do a procedure where we can finish out her nasal passages and we were told we can do it when we feel she needs it. My poor cat hasn't eaten since before midnight last night in preparation of the procedure and it is now after 5pm and no one gave my cat any food or treats. I was also not called to be notified that she was ready to be picked up. Dr. Campbell called me shortly after I dropped her off and her tone dripped with condecension and frustration about how this procedure wasn't needed afterall. The service here is very inconsistent and I don't expect anyone to remember anything about my cat, but I would appreciate if things were actually written down so I'm not being asked the same questions over and over, or told the same things that I already know. Don't waste your time at this office.

Thank you for such amazing care and compassion. Our dog had a hotspot on his paw and Dr. Campbell and her team stayed late on a Monday to see him and figure out what was going on! We work an exhaustive schedule and getting things done during the work day is near impossible. Thank you for your empathy and willingness to go the extra mile. I would highly recommend Dr. Campbell and the rest of the clinic staff! We use them for everything from annual checkups, vaccinations, to grooming etc and have always left feeling more than satisfied. Thanks!

I highly recommend NEVER using this vet clinic. I have reached out to them twice with two pets, who have been patients at their clinic, that need to see a vet on an emergent basis. These were issues which were not planned or scheduled - one was a dog attack my dog and the other was a dog with bloody vomit and diarrhea. And what did they say when I called...the vet is too busy to see your pet (their patient). For the dog bite they said two weeks (it was already infected and it was an older dog in a lot of pain) and today, they said they had an opening on Tuesday. My dog is having bloody diarrhea and vomiting blood, in obvious distress from pain, and there is absolutely no way they could fit him in. I have spent quite a bit of money at this vet clinic in the past, but will never EVER call or recommend them again!!!! I would advise any new patients to realize that when your pet needs their vet at Dessau Veterinary Clinic, your pet will be sent to an emergency clinic which is double the cost and time. Guess they really aren't vets, just wellness animal technicians. Thanks Dessau Vet and Dr. Kelly Campell!!!!

I came in because my dog was in pain and needed dental work. They referred me to Brodie Animal Hospital where I spent $2k dollars and they gave my senior dog proper pain meds. I suspect They thought maybe I was looking for pain meds which really didn’t sit well with me. I have several autoimmune diseases one that affects my skin including my hands which can get blistered and sore. The vet kept staring at my hands so much that I made a comment about having a skin disease but I think she was just making a judgment that I was some sort of drug addict. My best friend died about 5 months ago and I’ve since got a new dog that I take here with no issues but then again he’s not in pain (thank goodness). I only go here because of how close they are to me otherwise I’d sill be using Brodie Animal Hospital.
