Dr. Kim Percival-Leland is a great veterinarian of cats. She is very knowledgeable and professional. We have used her for over 20 years. We highly recommend her as your vet.

If you want the best professional, courteous and responsive care for your cat this is the place. Dr. Leland has so much experience and communicates her findings and recommendations so thoroughly I have the confidence our cat gets the very best care.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Cat Hospital of Austin. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive and the care they gave my cat when she was extremely injured was amazing. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

As far as a positive review of this establishment, I honestly don't know where to begin. Whatever you value in a veterinary service, I personally believe you'll find it here in abundance. I recently had a situation where both of my cats were sick and needed medical attention, at the time I was using another vet service which I actually liked but when I contacted them I was unable to set an appointment for around 10 days. I called around and Cat Hospital was the only service willing to take them in within 3 days. Also, HEARTBREAKINGLY one of my cats of only 2.5 years died recently. Soon thereafter, I received an email about his upcoming maintenance appointment and called to ask them to take him out of their system. The associate I spoke to was very sympathetic of course but a few days later I received a sympathy card with a personal note on it from about 8 people on their staff. I LOVE this place.

I have been bringing my cat here for about 6-7 years and the team is so great to be around. They are all well versed in cat care, and I appreciate how helpful everyone is. Covid has made vet visits unconventional (everywhere) but I think they are doing the best they can and it does not stop me from bringing my cat to them for appointments!

This place is disorganized and very weird. They have stopped taking in ANY new clients, even though they have open appointments, they are refusing to take care of my cat because I haven't been there before?... errrkay. Thats makes no sense and is poor management. By the way.. took 15 minutes and being on and off of hold, at least 7 times, and going through lots of questions to get that information. Should have been the first thing said! And the gal didn't even give me an accurate quote of pricing for a spay, she gave me a ballpark. Get it together guys.

All around top notch organization. And by focusing on cats exclusively, the environment and services and treatments are ideal.

Disappointed, called today to schedule an appointment or to see if they had any availability today. I was told next week, but my kitten who is a patient has a bump on her lip and I need to be seen sooner. The options given to me were to find another vet or take her to the emergency room. That’s not what you want to hear as a pet owner, I don’t want to be bouncing my cat around to different vets, or be told to go to the emergency room during normal business hours and for something minor. It’s Wednesday, you can’t get me in by Friday. I guess establishing relationships with your clients is not a priority. He didn’t even ask my name or my kittens name. All the girls I’ve talked to have been awesome, IDK maybe he’s having a bad day. Well, off to find a new vet, maybe this is for the best.

We have been taking our kitty babes to Dr. Percival-Leland at the Cat Hospital for 10+ years and I am not looking forward to the day she decides to retire (sorry)! She also used to treat our doggies before she opened the CH and you will have no regrets in taking your loved ones here for kind and compassionate care from the entire staff. From the moment you enter the little house on Pond Springs Road, you will know that you made the right decision and it’s quite possible that you’ll also receive a warm welcome from one of their attentive greeter kitties who are always looking for pets and sweet nothings whispered with back or head rubs! We also always feel better boarding our girls here because they always come home looking well rested and well loved! Although vists are never cheap, the CH often offers coupon discounts or pet insurance so ask about options upon your visit. Your kitty babes will thank you for the groveling to their whims!

My first vet visit with newly adopted kitten Noel, I was hesitant, never having been to the Cat Hospital of Austin (they are doing curbside, due to Covid). However, I've had nothing but a good experience, at that initial visit and all subsequent. Both on the phone and in person, everyone has been super helpful, pleasant, professional and caring toward Noel. Most important, Noel has been pretty relaxed and happy after her visits, considering their purpose (vaccines & spay) ????

GREAT Results ! Caring team HIGHLY recommend them ! I took my cat to a traditional Vet who told us our cat had cancer... and there was nothing to do. We were very sad and decided to look for a specialist at Cat Hospital of Austin . BEST DECISION EVER ! The truth is... our cat had pancreatitis (not cancer) which is currently being treated successfully. We are very happy ... and so is our cat ! Highly recommend the entire team ! ************************** I posted this review a few years ago. Dr. Percival did an amazing job at caring and extending my Midi's life ... then guiding us through those rough final days. They made it better! If you are looking for humane wonderful caring people, this is the right place. I now have 2 Cats . At Cat Hospital of Austin The level of care, empathy, sincere involvement in the well being of your pet is well beyond what I have experienced in the past. TOTALLY RECOMMEND THEM !

I Terrible and extremely unprofessional. I called to make an appointment and they had me a do drop off. When I asked about sedation, the tech or person on the phone got an attitude and I later received a call about the sedation and told my cat was stressed out due to not being sedated. I explained twice that I was the new owner. They did not update the information, proceeded to call old owner even though I updated information and wrote the old owners name all over my paperwork. We called because we didn’t receive a call he was ready, we were told it would be thirty minutes . When we arrived thirty minutes later, it was still a fifteen minute wait. Please just take your cat to a regular vet, it’ll save you money and stress.

We recently moved from out of state and I was dreading the process of finding a good new vet for my two cats. Luckily, I hit the jackpot on my first try. Super wonderful staff, excellent care, reasonable prices, I couldn’t be happier with the care my cats have gotten. This includes routine checkups and vaccine updates as well as a much-needed dental extraction and successful treatment of a chronic pancreatitis flare-up. Happy cats and happy owners.

Great staff who obviously care about my cat and treat her like family. I like how they are handling their drop-off and pickup to limit COVID exposure. Despite the limited face-to-face contact with the staff, Dr. Perceval still provided me very detailed information about my cat's health. I appreciate that they sent me a few photos by email to show a few concerns about my cat's health, and gave me detailed recommendations of steps I could take at home to care for her. I am impressed with the Cat Hospital of Austin's professionalism and attention to detail, and will be bringing my cat to them for her future health care needs.

I never got to speak to the vet at all regarding my animal. all of the technicians are super nice but I would figure that as a new client the vet would at least reach out and talk to me about the issues with my animal. I decided to look for a different vet because this is just poor bedside manner. Additionally, I don’t like the idea of having to drop my pet off in the morning and then come and pick her up later in the afternoon just to have a wellness exam and a urine culture. I don’t live on the side of town however I Thought they would have more expertise in dealing with my cat’s particular issues. I guess it wouldn’t have been so bad if the vet would’ve actually reached out and talk to me then I guess I wouldn’t mind the drop off. The vet didn’t even call me with the urine results it was a technician.

We love everyone at Cat Hospital of Austin. The front desk staff, the vet techs and of course, Dr. Percival. Our kitties have some random issues, but we're always comfortable with their care and treatment options.

I inquired about adopting two kittens that the hospital had and Chelsea responded to me on a day that the hospital was closed. She is super sweet and very kind! She made the adoption process extremely easy and I now have two new fur friends!

The team was very helpful in a very difficult time. In the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic, our cat stopped eating and needed urgent care. With modified visits, they took care of our fur baby at a level that eased the difficulty and worry while keeping everyone safe at this difficult time. As always, having a vet that focuses only on cats makes visits easier on our cats and gives us the confidence that our cats get the best care by vets who are all cat people first and foremost.
