Over the years I have seen all 3 vets and received wonderful, caring service each time. From routine exams and care or illness with my dogs, to checking a stray cat, to the sensitive time of euthanasia, I have always felt my animal was in great hands and the entire staff cared about my pet and my family.

Every single person at this clinic is hands down professional, friendly & knowledgeable. The Vets are amazing. Techs are amazing & Font desk staff is so kind & professional. It's so hard to find a front desk staff that is not condensending or rude. I trust my dogs with only the best & I have found the best! Thank you Capital Vet Clinic

My dog had oral surgery performed here that required two additional surgeries elsewhere to correct. I tried to see if we could work out a partial refund, but I was warned that it'd get tied up in litigation. I will refrain from rambling and going into too much detail, but I strongly recommend you find another location if you're in the Austin area. I wish I would have.

I have only used Capital Veterinary Clinic twice, but I'm sold. They are so quick, professional, kind, affordable, knowledgeable... I'm over the moon with how great they have been. I have 5 dogs, and two of them had issues that needed to be addressed ASAP on different occasions. CVC took the time to chat and ask questions when I was booking the appointments and had my pups seen same day. I was blown away by how quick they were. And both my pups made full recoveries. I will be bringing all 5 of my pups to CVC for their routine visits moving forward. So happy to have come across this clinic.

Awesome Staff. We have been taking Gibson to this vet clinic since he was a puppy. The staff is friendly, fast and works hard to make the experience smooth and non-stressful for your pet. Highly recommend.

I've gone to the vet for every pet I've ever owned they are very fair priced there's always a good prognosis from our visits are very Eaisly understood the diagnosis and treatment plans are simple as they can get and they have saved the lives of 4 of my 0ets threw out my life I'm 42 yrs old and my vet experiences had started very young and never changed my perefrance to bed side manner is greatly appreciated thank you kindly for all that you do@capital vet clinic

They're so great they will get you in they care about you and your pet I couldn't even get in pet specialists of Austin and these guys save me

I have had such a good experience here in the past few months since moving over. I know how busy all vets are in this time but they have been very good about getting back to me and answering extensive questions about the multitude of meds my dog needs. Dr. Kimbrough has always made time to follow up and return calls even if she has to do it on her lunch drive etc. Dr. Scroggs did an excellent job of getting up to speed with my baby's situation and stepping in when other DRs were off. Perhaps the part that makes me most excited to post this is the fact that Joy (who deals with the prescriptions) saved me literally over $150 a month on prescriptions by looking into other options when I told them what I was paying through a different online compounding pharmacy.

Urgent Care for Pets: when I adopted Toby from APA! I noticed he had a skin rash. Every vet in Austin is completely booked out at least 3 months in advance. I called them very early in the morning (at 7:30 am) to get a spot for my puppy. Granted, I called them without exaggeration 57 times before they picked up, but I was able to get the help I needed and Toby received so much care and healing.

Amazing they were so sweet to my puppy and they took their time checked all my concerns and explained everything to me and even gave me some food and puppy socialization recommendations!!

This is an easy and affordable Veterinary clinic. You just call early in the morning and schedule appointment for that day. They're super helpful and professional.

Fast and efficient. They took care of my pup very well and the staff was helpful and friendly. I made an online inquiry and they got back to me within the day.

The last two times I have gone it felt rushed. They do such a quick exam if they do one at all. My bill was much more then I expected both times and I wasn't given any real answers. I will be looking for a new vet that is more thorough and caring for my fur babies.

I took my pet during open hours stating I had an emergency and even though he was one of their patients they would not see him. He couldn't walk yet the lady at the front desk just turned him away. She recommended the worst clinic and Willie passed away later that day.

What a joke! They won’t book appointments in advance. You have to literally sit on the phone and dial repeatedly.... this morning I dialed at 7:30 on the dot.... I’ve dialed 56 times since then and got fed up so I walked to try to talk to some one in-person.... only to be told the entire day is already booked! They’ve lost me as a client and I know of 5 others who are also fed up and have stopped supporting them.

They weren't unable to answer my concern. Because I haven't visit them, I will give them 2 stars.

Showed up @3:45 and called from parking lot asking if they could clip our pug's nails. We had no appointment so we had to wait, but they got it done before 5:00.

Best veterinary clinic in the ATX.
