The staff here was absolutely wonderful. They took me and my dog in and ran the appropriate tests quickly. The Veterinarian that saw us talked to me about medication options and even opted to remove one since it wasn’t necessarily needed, more precautionary. That to me said a lot because I’ve been in many situations where I felt like the vet was trying to sell to me rather than treat my pet. I hope to never have to use doggy ER again but if I do I know this will be my first choice

the doc and his assistant was were very nice. the front desk lady was also very kind. remember that you pay for thier services that day, you cannot be billed. (i was unaware as im a new pet owner.)

Very upset with the front desk staff. After they wrongly diagnosed my dog saying she wasn’t pregnant when she was , they put her in a life threatening situation because they told me 2 times she wasn’t pregnant when she was . After I explained to them I think they need to see her again they said no it wasn’t necessary. My dog then had to be rushed to another clinic for a surgery. When I called to address my concerns they said there is nothing they can do not even give me a refund even though I spent a lot of money to have her checked.

We used to love this place, very convenient, friendly and no fuss, but recently we’ve had multiple unacceptable interactions which are causing us to change vets. I brought our dogs in for a check up 5 minutes early and waited outside the door for almost 30 minutes with no explanation. Today, we called to follow up with one of our dog’s anti-flea prescriptions to be filled (which has been no issue for the last four years) and was told they don’t authorize online pharmacies. The lady was quite callus and indifferent. We showed up to get a paper copy and were told by another woman who was more helpful that if we didn’t purchase the medication through their clinic it would be $10 to get the paper prescription after we just spent almost $500 for a routine check up for two dogs.

My family and I have been taking our animals to this vet for fourty years, since I was a child well before my last name became Woods. Last month my cat got severely injured. The emergency vet told us to get with our regular vet for post surgical treatment. I immediately called BRAH. I was told no and that we couldn't even be squeezed in until a month after surgery. They flushed a Fourty year relationship down the toilet in one phone call. I used to recommend them often. No more!

My dog needed surgery and they never followed up to book it. When we talked about it, the vet only kept reiterating that it was gonna cost most (I wasn't asking about price and it wasn't a factor to me. I just wanted my dog taken care of) When I called to follow up the woman sounded drunk and wasn't helpful at all. I called today with a pet emergency and the receptionist sounded so rude and exasperated. This used to be my favorite place for my dogs but it has gotten so bad that I felt the need to tell others about my recent experiences.

We have been coming here for years, Dr. Simmons is the best. I wish him well on retirement YOU will be missed. Thank you for everything you have done for all of our children (pet kids). Thanks to some new staff members for treating us like family, we love Burnet Road Animal Hospital. The staff is so helpful and they don't treat you like your a pain, but they seem to empathize with you. I have yet to meet the New Dr. But with Covid being a part of our lives I understand. I can't wait to meet him or her or them. Thanks again For always being there for our children.

This family owed vet practice has been our vet since 1980 - beat vet in ATX & they treat our furry kids w/ up most respect & love.

Love this Vet. It’s where we take our dogs for any concerns and they are extremely professional and very friendly

They try to accommodate appointments when the situation is urgent. It’s nice that the doctor actually spends time talking about the issues but it would be nice if during that time he actually examined my puppy such as ears, eyes and teeth. I’m happy to hear that just by looking at her he knows she’s fine and healthy but super protective mothers such as myself would feel better if her physical was done. I don’t pay to take my pet to the vet to listen to him for an hour while my pet is there to be examined. Sadly there were serious issues that he didn’t catch and was not attentive about. Also, the receptionist’s attitude on the phone is very rude and her lacking desire to be helpful is extremely clear.

Great customer service! Very knowledgeable and friendly Vet. I love their Covid-19 procedures. Just drive up and they come grab your animal friend. You stay in your car the whole time!

It's an unusual Veterinary Clinic where your pets come first before the money

I can’t speak highly enough of this place. Price: they saved me AT LEAST 60% of what I was going to spend at Banfield. I’ll save the specifics but it was well over $700.00 in savings customer service : I spoke with the Vet EVERY TIME. Usually clinics are so packed you can never make it past the front desk or techs. Due to Covid we had to meet outside however he came to talk to me EVERY Time and as a pet owner that means the world. Actual Vet service: 3 tumors removed & a Spay. All done within a couple of hours. They were diligent about what I needed to do at home, scheduled a follow up 3 days later & stitches to be removed a week after that.

Dr. Toth is very welcoming & professional. I can always count on him 2 listen & explain what could b going on w/my Chihuahua. Dr. T understands that being on a set income, limits how much I can afford for my furbaby. Picking the least expensive route really helps! Thank you so much!

I absolutely love the staff here. BRAH cared for my childhood pets. Now, as an adult, I trust them with my animals. The vets, technicians and front desk staff are so sweet. Their system during the pandemic is amazing. They're really doing an outstanding job. My dog isn't even afraid to visit :)

Great caring & loving group of folks that care for my lil'guy. I find them be be less expensive than other vets without sacrificing quality care for my dog.

Quality of care is amazing! They really care about the animals AND their owners. The medical knowledge is excellent! Would highly recommend them for any type of animal. Regarding cost they are very fair. Their professionalism is 5 star and anytime I’ve called they call back immediately. Dr. Simmons and Dr. Toth are just wonderful!

Great folks, not out to rob you.

My husband and I are divorcing, but we agreed that we would share custody of Burnet Road Animal Hospital. Doesn't mean that either one of us will pay for the utilities, or bail anyone out of jail. Not that these folks would ever see the inside of the hokey, as this practice is comprised of compassionate, ethical and knowledgeable staff. Dr Toth has always been there for my doggos: the late great Hercules and my gimpy Biscuit. Looking forward to introducing my new dog to the staff at BRAH. The tradition continues!
