My dog's health got bad. The staff was very patient with me in the exam room while I had to make a tough decision. Not only did they help me with the information I was seeking, they also helped me make the right decision for my dog. They will be my vet as long as I'm in BCS. Thank you

Every good review here is deserved. I took my dog in to them and for $153 I got two 7 day prescriptions, an emergency exam, and an xray for her foot.

Repeat customer! We've been bringing our pets here since we moved to Texas (2016). We had 2 cats and 2 dogs. Now only 2 dogs. ☹ They are always friendly and I especially like that they understand we have a tight budget; thus they always tell me the prices before just assuming it's ok.

Had this Vets for years and we trust the VETS!!

You get what you pay for. Took our epileptic puppy to them and they misdiagnosed her and proceeded to give her antibiotics while she was still developing, permanently damaging the enamel on her teeth. The vet then told us that her seizures were a behavioral problem and tried to send us to an absurdly expensive trainer. When we took her to a more professional vet they informed us that it was epilepsy and that her enamel would never come back. Very low prices but if your pet has any serious issue I would avoid this place.

My babies first time visiting! The staff was super friendly, understanding, and informative. Fair prices. He will be returning this weekend for boarding.

The entire staff here is always extremely helpful, compassionate, and efficient. They really work with you to help however they can, and they care a great deal about the creatures who come through their clinic. They feel like a family, and they take care of you and your pets like family, too.

Dr Bond and his staff are all so loving and amazing! They are always understanding and accommodate us into their clinic schedule. Jasper our rescue pup came with a parvo from the shelter and we had no clue until he was hospitalized for 1 weeks. Dr Bond and his wonderful staff took great care of him that he beat parvo and is now a gorgeous 90lb happy pup! Our frenchie has allergies and issues with food affecting his pancreas. They modified his diet which helped tremendously with his digestive issue and an allergy shot for his skin. Both pups are doing wonderful and love going in for their check ups! An added plus is that they are inexpensive and offer top notch care!

When we moved into the area five years ago, one of the first things we did was look for a good vet. The offices were closest to my house so we gave them a try. Dr. Bond has actually been the best vet that my 11 and 10 year old dogs and two year old cat that we’ve ever had. Very reasonably priced. Staff is very friendly and the office is very clean. I feel like they have handled the COVID virus very well.

They have always shown compassion and care for my animals and myself, giving accurate information and showing support for our decisions. From first puppy visits to when we finally had to say goodbye, we have been grateful for the team at Southwood Valley Animal Hospital.

Dr. Bond is so caring with my dogs! Other vets have frightened my dog with loud boisterous voices. But Dr. Bond is different. He comes in quietly and greets the dogs. He trains his staff to greet the dogs too. My dogs get pets, back rubs, and sweet voiced greetings before they are ever looked at or weighed! To top it off, they are the best priced vet in the area!

Our dogs enjoy coming to the vet. You read right they enjoy it! The staff is super friendly and very professional. They are time sensitive and have you in and out quickly but with success. I highly recommend dr.Bond and his staff for all of your pets needs

Dr. Bond has taken excellent care of all of my animals for the last 20 years. His honesty and compassion are easy to see. He doesn't order unnecessary tests and prescribe unnecessary medications. His pricing is extraordinarily reasonable. My daughter actually brings her dog from Austin to Dr. Bond because he is so reasonable and it saves her money.

Dr. Bond TRULY CARES and is so SWEET! I was afraid my kitten was having breathing problems, so I scheduled an appt with him after seeing so many great reviews about this office. He exceeded my expectations and told me he did a full inspection to make sure my little guy was ok. And turns out... my kitten is alright. He didn’t charge for me the visit and even gave my little boy anti-histamines. A doctor this thoughtful and is not after his patients money is a godsend. I am so happy to have found someone like this in CSB. I highly recommend this office as even the staff was very caring to all of the pets that came in.

Southwood animal hospital is the only place that i would take my animals. Dr bond is an awesome vet. He cares about the animals and staff are very nice too. I recommend Dr bond to everyone who ask me about where they should take their animals

I have been so pleased with this extremely convenient Veterinary clinic. Located in town (Holleman and Anderson) the tech and Vet have worked through the Covid pandemic in a patient way with Parking Lot appointments and a readiness to help. Highly recommend.

I'm not usually the type to write reviews, but I had the most wholesome experience today. I've been getting my cat flea medicine through them for over a year, and they've always been helpful and friendly, but nothing like how sweet Stephanie was to me today. She was so funny and seemed very happy to be there and to help. She ran my order out to my car (I didn't know the lobby was open, but she offered to bring it to me anyway), and she wrote my cats names on the bag with a little cat tail and ears, with a thank you and smiley face. She is a national treasure, and made a mundane errand a lovely experience :)

I have recommended Dr. Bond to everyone I know a thousand times. Not only is his name James Bond but his clinic is the jam. Great prices, you may have to wait a few minutes but that’s because he and all of his staff actually give you all of the information you need to keep your pets healthy and happy. I had been to many places in town charging me MUCH more for crummy service.. not him though. If you are looking for an old school vet who will talk to you strait and help you then he is the place. He also keeps up with all of the new treatment options and works with A&M when needed for animals that need a bit more support. My IGGY as all of them is very sensitive to being put under and he got her teeth cleaned no problem and no problems. His staff never left her side. We have seen him for 10 years. You won’t regret it for a second!
