All of the staff there are friendly and helpful. Very gentle and caring with the patients. Dr. Lott was spot on with diagnosis and treatment.

I came on New Year’s Eve (thank you for being open) for the first time with my 12y/o fur baby. And we had the best vet experience! Cinnamon was the most calm she’s ever been with any vet. Dr. DeCiero and her assistant Sam were very sweet and helpful. Dr DeCiero listened to every concern I had and helped find a solution to all of my concerns. She wasn’t at all pushy nor did she overlook my previous efforts in trying to help certain problems. She was very respectful. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out, everyone I encountered was super polite and kind. Thank you all for the great experience. Y’all are amazing!

I visited here earlier this weekend and ended up spending at least $100 more than I expected. The staff are professional, nice, and they'll take good care of your pets. However, if you're on a budget, they are not the cheap option.

We were were able to get an appt. quickly and were seen within 5 minutes of arrival. I needed a clean bill of health for kitty and a travel certificate. I had some additional paperwork signed. We were in and out within 30min. The vet is personable, thorough and very helpful. Tha staff were also friendly.

They were able to get Lucy in and out on a emergency visit after she was bit by something and started swelling.

I travel across town to be seen by Dr. Palvino. He is the best in compassionate, knowledgeable pet care. I highly recommend Austin Vet Hospital & their staff.

Austin Bet Hospital is far and away the standard for veterinarian hospitals. Their service is outstanding, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the doctors are honest and genuinely care about the animals. I’ve never had a bad experience in my 2 years of taking my dog here. They did his neutering and they’ve handled every single issue in a timely manner and always with professionalism. This will always be my vet clinic.

I absolutely love Dr. Somers! She listens & relates in a way most professionals don't. I feel comforted when my dog is ill & heard. All of the staff are top notch!

We've been bringing our dogs to Austin Vet Hospital for years and have had nothing but good experiences. A few weeks ago, our older lab mix, Samantha, experienced a sudden downturn in her health, resulting in a very challenging 10 days of hospital visits, blood work, imaging, and various other tests. Eventually we discovered that Samantha had a rare, inoperable brain tumor, and made the hard decision to say goodbye to our poor girl last weekend. Throughout the entire process, we received nothing but the highest quality care from Dr. Lott and the entire staff at AVH. From our very first phone call, when we had no idea what was happening with Sam, to the final one, when we knew our girl didn't have much longer, Dr. Lott was patient, understanding, thorough, and communicative with us. We always felt like we knew what our options were, and what our next step should be. Because we knew we were receiving the best care we could ask for, my wife and I were able to focus on being present with Sam during our last days together, and processing our grief together. We are so incredibly grateful for Dr. Lott, Dr. Cao, Larcy, Doug, and everyone else with whom we interacted over the past few weeks. Working in veterinary medicine is incredibly challenging and exhausting—thank you all for doing what you do.

When I moved to Round Rock, I chose to stay with Austin Vet due to their professionalism and their great customer service. They are friendly and caring and they take their time to explain everything. They truly care about their customers.

I have been taking my dog to Austin Vet Hospital since I moved to Austin in 2011. He has always received excellent care at AVH. He has seen a few different vets but I particularly like Dr. Somers and Dr. Palvino. I had to learn a lot as a pet parent when I was younger, and I never felt judged during that time. Staff has always been friendly, and the location is nice and central. It can be pricey of course, although I'm not sure that's on AVH...I'll probably get pet insurance the next time I adopt.

I moved half an hour away from this clinic and I still go the distance to take my dogs here. I was actually referred here by Dr Sherry Hill from Sam Bass Vet in Round Rock. They're always friendly, professional, and compassionate. Dr Sommers and the vet techs help my very anxious dog to feel more comfortable here. They always go above and beyond and answer all of my neverending questions and concerns. My only complaint is that they don't carry Bravecto and that I have to get a prescription in person and mail it in in order to order it from Chewy instead of them being able to send the prescription themselves when Chewy reaches out. Other than that this place is a dream. Get Bravecto! Haha
