Got my cay declawed. They told it would cost $140 and then i would have to purchase meds. When i went to get her is was three times that. I dont think they did it on purpose, just didnt explain the way it worked well enough for someone as inexperienced as i was. They did a beautiful job with no issues. They gave me clear and detailed instructions on how to care for her post-surgery. They did leave me in a room waiting to be billed for over an hour even when i went out and asked if i was doing the right thing, still no one came to help me. Finally the vet tech who brought my cat to me noticed i was still there and sent someone to take care of me. Over all, i think it was a great experience and the minor issues i had were no big deal in comparison to what a great job they did with her. I will bring my cat to them again for sure.

Awesome veterinarian clinic. All employers have a true love for animals and very reasonable costs for services.

Oh my goodness I cannot thank this clinic enough! I called around 8:15 on a Sunday night. We JUST moved to the Athens area Saturday (new year’s day). Life has been stressful, but to add to it, our yorkie had a bump on his skin and ripped a scab off. It appeared to be hallow and we were concerned. They got us in at 8:30 and we saw Macy, one of the vet techs. (I’m unsure of how she spells her name) She listened attentively and took our concern to the doctor, he came in, they walked right up to Archie and Macy pulled out a BOTFLY like NOTHIN’! So gross, but satisfying! Beyond amazed with how sweet and fast they were. Everything was smooth and while we didn’t plan on finding a new veterinary clinic so quickly, we are so glad we know where we’re going for both of our babies. ❤️

Had one our dogs put to sleep here they were very caring and helped with the sad situation giving us all the time we needed with our pet, would recommend this place to everybody.

I have so much to say but I'll try to keep it short. They are compassionate, kind, and so loving. Everyone at Morton's truly care about the animals! I have had multiple experiences with them and always leave feeling so very blessed to have them to care for my babies! Even when we had to unfortunately put our pittie down due to hemangiosarcoma VERY suddenly, they made it so much easier for us, never rushed our goodbyes, asked if we needed more time,etc. Also I always feel 100% confident in the diagnosis/prognosis. They are honest when there's truly nothing else they can do and thats SO IMPORTANT. Today I visited again with my aussie who has a lump and not feeling great and thank goodness, this is benign and she has an upset tummy from a diet change. I walked out with a full,happy heart, and my pockets werent empty! The pricing is BEYOND fair and I, along with many others, appreciate that greatly. Hands down the best vet clinic, period. Ill be taking my two new puppies that I get this week for their puppy checkups at Mortons for sure! Cant wait for them to meet the babies! If you want a vet who cares, doesnt charge crazy prices, is open late and 7 days a week, you want this clinic!!!!!

Very thorough and kind with my dogs,they remind us when we need to get them to the vet. As well as heartworm prevention they help us stay on n top of that. Very professional.

I love this veterinarian always good with our dogs. One of them had to have stitches and they called the next day to see how she was doing. Very friendly staff.

Mr. Lucky Gordon, my recent rescue, was treated here . $110 special included initial vaccinations, worm test, bath and nails trimmed. 10:30 appt and told to "go do a couple errands " and he will be done. I called around 12:30 to see if he was ready. No. We have been busy. At 1PM after calling again Cheyenne told me he was positive for hook and heart worms. Offered two options for heart worms. A 7 year treatment (cheapest) and a $600 series of 3 shots i agreed to. Told me to pick him up around 3. 1st shot given that day, and next was due 30 days later. I understood 30 days later for 3rd. ONLY AFTER I came to pick him up was I told 2nd & 3rd shots and an overnight stay were due in 30 days. Another $500 + $351 original = $851+ meds. Employees were excellent and caring. I can't afford additional cost, canceled additional treatment. I feel I was either deceived or employee lacked proper training.

Love this place! They treat my animals just like if they were theirs!

Boarded my dog there for 6 days. Price was very reasonable and they took great care of pet. Highly recommend.

Best church family in Texad

If you love your fur babies this is where to take them for all your vet needs. They are the best we have ever had. They saved our little Callie (weenie dog) after she got into some poison and tried to eat a wasp all on the same day. After 3 other vets blew us off Mortons took her and kept her for 5 days but it was worth it. After the first few days she was acting like herself againbut was still weak. She has now been home for 8 months and I will never use another vet again. They were wonderful and if not for them we wouldnt have Callie. BEST VET OFFICE EVER!!!

I will not do business with them again. I have used them twice and neither time ended well.

All of the vets and all of the techs and staff are very friendly, caring, and kind. The clinic is very very busy. The office hours are great for working people. You will get seen pretty quickly, so no worries if you see a lot of people in the waiting room.

These folks are open from 7:00 in the morning till 10:00 at night no after hours calls good staff they cared for my best friends like they were their best friends

I have been a loyal Customer/Patient of Morton’s for the past 2 years, Cojo (first picture) has been vaccinated and seen by the clinic every single time something had come up. Not a single problem and even stood up for them when people would tell me how terrible they were. I get Roan (second picture) and bring him straight to Morton’s they give him his vaccination that he needed and sends me on my way. The breeders lied about his age, and he got sick due to the vaccine being too early. Morton says it’s parvo ,tested him; negative, and said they had to keep him over night. They continued to keep him after requiring 500 deposit to “chip away at” they tested him 20 times in the span of 4 days! They told me they don’t usually go over 500 dollars but would call and tell me if they were getting close. The day finally came for Roan to come home and they said he was doing better never tested positive for anything (kinda weird when they didnt know what was wrong) and that I had a 280 dollar balance. I was in shock, they never called me to mention they went over… That’s when I found out they continued to test him over and over and over. They kept charging me for money, that’s all they want….side note; Roan ended up getting kennel cough (they misdiagnosed him for upper respiratory infection) and made me pay for it even though he caught it there! I’m giving them two stars because I love the nurses and front desk operators they are the only ones that seem to care. HOW ABOUT YOU TAKE CARE OF ANIMALS INSTEAD OF WORRYING ABOUT PAYING FOR YOUR NEW BUILDING!

Great staff. From the front desk to the Dr. all were kind and efficient. Treated my dogs and me very well. They were super busy yet handled everyone.

I had a visit scheduled there and when I got there they told me that they were only taking patients for vaccinations someone could have been responsible and called me rather than me driving 20 miles I will never take another dog there, I'm through

James and his Dad John have saved my babies, have given me new babies, and have helped ease babies out of their pain to cross the rainbow bridge. There is NOTHING that will take away these experiences and all the new ones I know are coming. And Jesse Morton is just the icing on the cake!!! He is the kindest soul I HAVE LITERALLY EVER MET IN ALL MY WORLD TRAVELS.. This guy will just sit and talk to you anytime 24/7 ensuring and confirming that your babies are getting the ABSOLUTE BEST CARE POSSIBLE!!! He sits with your babies, loves on them all. Great customer service. Always helpful, and knowledgeable at their jobs. They will spoil your pets Rottens.. great group of workers, and recommend anytime you need a daycare, or to board.
