This place was horrible! I left my rott there for 8 days. I’m very disappointed, I picked up my rott with his head busted and cuts on his nose. Also on his neck and right eye lid. The day i dropped Him off he was in very good shape. He has lost a lot of weight in those 8 days.He has bites on his ears and a bad cough. He is also bleeding from his private area I told them before i left that he has bad anxiety if he could stay in the inside kennels. They said that he was too big and he would be better off outside. Right when we got there he got his vaccines he needed WHICH DIDNT START WORKING UNTIL ALMOST 2 WEEKS LATER when we took him to the vet the first time. I had very high hopes for this place but didn’t turn out so good. Will be taking him to the vet again to get this checked. (They said they will refund us after we spent over $1,000 at the vet trying to get my dog to recover from the mess they did. It is now almost December this happened in June. So unprofessional I’m not giving up until we get refunded for what they did to him.)

We brought our dog here for the Thanksgiving break. The people couldn't be nicer. Our dog came back worn out from all of the play time. The rates are unbeatable also.

Very expensive for a big dog. 28 per day. Do 2 dogs will cost over 60 per day with tax. That becomes a lot of money. My condo overseas for 4 people costs the same as boarding 2 dogs. Not acceptable.

Might look rough on the surface but they got a good thing going. Plenty of play space. The holding pens are a good size. Caretakers seem to genuinely love their charges. You could do much worse for a kennel/doggy hotel. 3 night/4 day plus bath ~$100.

Please read the notice on their website if you would like to laugh at how ridiculous it is, and then find somewhere that actually cares about the wellbeing of other people!

I am so distraught over our last experience, especially after this being our go to kennel for years. We have a senior dog very docile and easy going. We pick him up and staff mentions he has a wound on his tail that happened while he was there. Upon further inspection, his nails/paw is bleeding as well as his tail. The most bothersome problem was the incidental daily surcharge $10/day, which they fail to mention when you call to reserve or drop off. I’m not really into politics here, but increasing price by 40% per day is extreme. The explanation of this “temporary” charge will end when we get new leadership is outrageous.

Just okay. I would not leave my fur baby's there. The outdoor kennels leaves alot to be desired.

I think all dogs need to be in an air conditioning building during the summer and heating during winter time the weather here in Texas can also be brutal for our family pets.

Initially I liked the idea of bringing my 7 month old dog here thinking I would give it a shot ,cause she really needed to be trained. After a week (which is the time the work with your dog) I went to the first personal training and found out that she had on both eyes several bright red “fly bites” (according to them) that was causing my puppy blink all the time and I could tell she was having difficulties to see. When I asked the trainer what happened he dismissed my concern by saying they were scratches from playing with other dogs , after the third time I brought it up , that’s when he said they “probably” were fly bites. A week after that (big mistake that I trusted them again) my dog showed up with a purple ear because of fly bites again. A few days later that I am finally taking my dog home, I called the place to ask when It was a good time to go get her , a guy said that they were open 4pm to 7pm, I asked one more time when I could get my dog and got the exact same answer that they open 4-7, my last question was if they had given her a bath already and he said in a very RUDE tone of voice “why don’t you look at your paperwork to see what you told us to do” , I hung up and went straight to the place and thought I could speak with the Manager about the rude employee. When I got there I had the very unpleasant surprise that the Manager was the one I spoke with over the phone. Not being that sufficient , I faced him and asked if he was the person I spoke with over the phone and since he couldn’t hear very well, he demanded me to take my face mask off cause he didn’t understand what I was saying and it ended up on a yelling match in front of at least 7 clients waiting to pick up their dogs . Since my complain couldn’t go anywhere about a very bad customer service and the lack attention to my dog’s health , specially when I paid close to 900dls, I decided to write this review and shared my experience . Hope this would help others to make a decision if this is what you would like for your doggy.

Stay away from this place if you love your furbabies!! This place has a manifestation of flies! A quick trip to Lowe’s for fly traps can help resolve that issue but they don’t care enough to protect the furbabies from getting attacked by flies! After reading the reviews, several furbabies returned to their owner looking abused and neglected, having a respiratory infection, hair loss and several fly bites! This is totally unacceptable treatment! This morning I was reading the reviews on their FB page which were terrible, I went back this evening to write a review on their page but couldn’t because they disabled the review option.. You can no longer see previous reviews or write a review. So here I am, what do they have to hide to do that, do not trust them with your babies!! Our furbabies should be returned to us the way we left them!

I really did not want to do this, I had hoped for better. I boarded my two dogs there for 9 days( was originally planned for 10 days). Nadia (Small Husky 3 years old) and Freddy ( 9 month old dachshund). When I went to drop them off, I asked for them to be boarded indoors because neither need to be outside for long periods of times in the heat and the person working the counter argued with me that Nadia would like being outside more. Even if she would, I am paying for a service and I expect to be given what I asked for. I finally just gave into the guy with the guarantee that they would pay close attention to behaviors and temperatures to make sure to move her indoors. When I would call to check up on them, the phone would just ring and ring. I finally connected with someone and waited on hold for 30 mins. When I called again from a different phone and asked to not be put on hold, I got yelled at. I understand people aren't wanting to work right now but maybe try not to be rude or try and staff up. The amount of dogs I saw at drop of and the amount of workers can not be enough supervision. They also didn't seem to know what was going on with my pets. When I called for a update the response was "let me check" ( maybe try progress reports) ( I wish they had cams to view your pets, or sent photos something to ease the wondering of what is happening. Here comes the worst part of it all!!! I picked them up a day early, which they were great about getting them ready a day early. My poor Husky had torn up ears from fly's, the guy at the counter said "This is normal", UHHHH no sir this is not normal. This is caused by horrible and nasty environments. My vet also does not understand how it happened so fast with out anyone noticing. Not only is the environment not well kept or treated for fly's, the workers aren't keeping eyes on the pets. After a very costly vet visit today, that I schedule after their return home on purpose because of the terrible reviews. Both of my babies have Bordetella( yes they are vaccinated, means others aren't), major cuts, fly bites and Freddy has a sprained leg. I suggest you find another place to kennel or take your pets for day care. My vet and myself are reporting this facility with hope that they clean it up, its a great concept just all around dirty and not well kept.

This was our first time boarding our baby Abby and I don't think it could have gone any smoother. The manager personally helped to guide us through the process and was extremely courteous and respectful. We had to leave her to travel out of town for a funeral, so I am so grateful for them for helping to elevate some of the stress that we were dealing with. From this point on if we have to leave Abby with anyone we are 100% going with County Acres Kennels. Thanks again to all of the staff.

Giving this business 2 stars because I dropped my dog off on 5/26 and paid for play time. I picked her up 8 days later and she was stinky and very matted like they had never taken her out to walk. Her fur was very dirty like she had been lying in her own urine. It really wouldn’t take much to walk the dogs and allow them to potty outside of the kennel. Thank God I hadn’t experienced anything like these other reviews because I didn’t even think to read the reviews I just looked at the overall rating. We definitely won’t use them again.

I adore these guys! Easiest check in process ever (once the original visit paperwork and everything is over) and my guys are always happy when I pick them up. Very up front about everything and just good, hard working people. Love this place.

BEWARE!!! Our usual boarding facility was closed, so we took our Boxer here based on reviews. It was for 3 nights, and we requested bath and nail trim. When we picked him up he was not his energetic self. He was very.lethargic and he did not smell like he had a bath and nails were same. Within 3 days ge developed runny nose and horrible cough.. sounds like croup in a baby.. We took him to vet which cost us $146. He was diagnosed with respiratory infection, which was most likely contacted at Contry Acres!!!

Horrible Experience - I wish I could give 0 stars. I visited this place 2 times before taking my pet. Once to tour, once to take shot records and reserve dates. Each time I asked that my dog be groomed. Hair cut, nails trimmed, ears checked, bathe before I came to pick him up from vacation. This was told again when I dropped him off and when I called to check on him twice while I was gone. IT WASN'T DONE! I get there to pick him up he is half wet and back in general population after a so called bath. They were so disorganized, people waiting everywhere, too many animals. I took one look at my puppy and knew something was wrong. He looked like the very life was leaving him. Took him to vet and sure enough he was very sick. I dropped him off vibrant and healthy, only to come back to a sickly pet that couldn't make it up thre stairs. I believe due to Memorial Day weekend they were trying to make up for lost times and booked too many animals and could not take care of them. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO HERE!

Always the place I bring my french bulldog when it's time to take a trip. They know her by name and keep a record of her special needs/ requests. I even keep a spare slow- feeder bowl there for her when she visits. Live this place and their care for our fur baby.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE. One of my good friends just called me from out of town - they have left their dog with them. The dog was attacked and killed by another dog inside the kennel. This is horrible and the kennel is not doing anything about the situation. They even called and informed the owner they had to pay for the hospital bill for their dog. Absolutely sad and wrong. This should never of happened and only could of taken place if the dogs were left unwatched. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG WITH THIS KENNEL............

Was going to use them for a 2 week vacation, but that tax-dodging whining spiel clued me in to what sort of people these are. Hard pass, I'll just pay the resort's pet fees.

This was the first time we ever boarded Isaiah at the kennel. He was there for 7 days. We were very satisfied with the facilities and he came home with no issues. In fact, he was a bit more well behaved than usual lol. He received a bath the day before we picked him up, and he still smells wonderful after a week. We would definitely recommend this kennel, and will be using it again.
