It's an amazing feeling knowing you're babies are well taken care of while you're away. These owners really do go the extra mile.

My 6 month old yorkipoo broke his leg at Windsong Kennels in the summer of 2020. I picked him up on a Monday and was notified at pick up that he had been limping since SATURDAY. I received NO call and he did not receive veterinary care while at their facility, despite him limping. It cost me over $1,000 in medical bills and xrays and now my poor pup is predisposed to an ACL because of the break in his leg. I’m still traumatized by the negligence of the Windsong staff. Please DO NOT bring your dogs to this place. It has been so horrible, even over one year later.

I have taken my dogs to Windsong for 20 years, and am grateful for the magnificent care they have always received. It's always easier to leave them when I know they will be so well cared for. John and Elizabeth are kind and caring, and my dogs always came home happy. Also, unlike another kennel, my dogs never came home sick or with fleas. Windsong is the best kennel in town.

I have used this place a couple times now and absolutely love it. The owner is very reliable and reasonable. Highly recommend.

This place is one of the filthiest boarding facilities I have EVER seen. Rust, dirt, and grime everywhere so cleanliness is far from a priority. The kennels are way too small and shocking that they would try and fit 2 large dogs in one, which they do. The runs and patios are separated by only a chain link fence, so cage fighting must be pretty common for them, scary. I was informed that the dogs do not get yard time, that they are only limitied to relieving themselves on the patio. Customers can add on actual yard time, but there is an up-charge for it... which is ridiculous ($6 PER WALK???). They should already get complimentary yard time, as this is standard practice for most boarding facilities from what I've seen. I have never boarded my pets here, and won't after what I've seen. Not to mention, there is only ONE staff member to care for these dogs... ONE! Yikes. I'm posting this to prevent any other pet parent from bringing their dogs here. Please, save your $20 a night (what it costs here) and take your pets to a safer facility where they will be safe and treated well.

I can't thank Elizabeth and John (Windsong Owners) enough for the love and care they provided for Daisy. Daisy is a rescue that had some very big challenges. They catered to Daisy as much as possible and I truly believe without them, she would not have progressed as beautifully as she did. They keep everything so clean! I showed up unexpectedly to check on her, and i was overjoyed by what I saw. They treated her like she was one of their own, even giving her some special play time with their lab. She had huge trust issues, and had roamed free her 1 year of life. I was worried about kenneling her but had to in order to place her. Windsong's kennels were big enough to keep the 90 pound gal in comfort. In fact, I think she loved it there and would have been perfectly happy to stay!!! Thank you again, wonderful Windsong Kennels, I am grateful beyond words!!!!

We've taken our dogs to Windsong for many years. They get so excited when we turn onto the property. Always a good experience.

The best kennel ever. The owners are very kind and attentive to the animals. The dogs always enjoy going there!

We had been very happy with Windsong and used them a couple of times until now. We had reservations for our dogs to board but our oldest son got the flu and we needed to make changes and cancel 2 nights boarding. I called and asked about cancellation policies and was simply told there would be no cancellation fees. I called back to confirm that we would need to cancel because our son was spiking a temp again and I was informed they would remove our dogs entire reservation and we’d need to find a new kennel to board our dogs. When I questioned this because there had been no mention of this during my earlier call John replied “I said there’d be no cancellation fee, not that your dogs could come back.” I would’ve completely understood had he told me this on the initial call when I inquired about canceling but this is horrible customer service. They saved us some significant $$$ though because I was able to find a neighbor who was willing to watch the dogs for free instead!! Thanks Windsong!

Have taken multiple dogs to Windsong. They are always friendly and the dogs never come back stressed.

We had trouble finding a kennel we trusted until Windsong was recommended to us by a friend.They took great care of our two dogs while we went on vacation, and the dogs loved it so much they almost didn't want to get in the car. We will most certainly use them again.

John and family are Gold. They know what they're doing. When we're away Windsong is where our German Shepherds have stayed for years and this won't change. Nice quiet wooded area, out of the way. Fenced areas are as secure as they are spotless less any country club "glitz" that's common today to run up cost. When you go to pick up your 4 leg family members the way you'll find them says it ALL. Book early If going away on holidays Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, 4 July.

These guys are priced well for kennels in the metroplex and they seem to care about animals. We've used them many times and have been happy with the services.

My dog can be difficult with strangers and new situations. The folks at Windsong are always patient with him and provide him with excellent care. I know I can feel comfortable leaving him at this wonderful kennel and when I pick him up he has always bonded with the kind staff.

You won"t find a better place to board and care for your dog. We have known John and Elizabeth since they bought the place and have used them from day one. Will continue to use them for our pups.
