We are from Michigan, traveling cross country with our camper, kids and dogs. Our puppy (8 months old) ingested plastic from her kennel pad that she tore up when we left for a bit. As we traveled down the road from Arizona toward Oklahoma she began vomiting which was what our local vet advised us to look out for. I immediately began searching for a hospital near us fearing the worst. Upon calling Noah’s Ark Pat Hospital I talked with the sweetest woman that told me to come on in and they’d get us in right away. When we arrived we were immediately taken to a room. After assessment of what occurred staff took her back for an x-ray and from there we made a plan to get the rest of the plastic out. She’s going to be ok! We are back on the road with meds and a plan. The staff here was all so kind and comforting. I’m so grateful to have pulled them up in our search and so glad our girl is going to be ok.

They are wonderful with my animals, they take all animals and the cost is not too high. The staff is great and so caring about the pets you bring in.

One time I brought my chameleon in here and the dude literally printed out a fact sheet from google. The paper wasn’t even the whole thing it only printed like half of it. He also gave my friends bunnies pain meds which ended up killing it. Do not take small animals here

At first I was kind of skeptical and worried about what I was getting my dog into but as it turns out after his surgery his return to the same happy-go-lucky dog that he used to be in Japanese playing and he has good attitude and his eyes are bright and clear and he seems to be out of pain and everything and he just energetic again he was just laying around the house I don't know what that doctor did but whatever he did it saved biscuits life

I'm at a loss. My bearded dragon wasn't eating and i could tell I need to get help. Before the vet he still had somewhat energy and normal behavior. After the vet a different story. The doctor took my dragon to another room to check him out. (Big mistake on my part) I should have kept him in my sight so I blame myself as well. After the doctor returns I could immediately tell something happened and even ask the nurse what the doctor did. My dragon was suddenly twitch and extremely weak as soon as it came back. They gave me some antibiotics and said to give it to him once daily for an infection? Literally as soon as i got home he had a seizure! I called them and they said to give him some syrup? 8hours later my bearded dragon named "Zeno" was dead! DO NOT TRUST YOUR PETS TO THESE PEOPLE! Also charged me $65 for some antibiotics that he didn’t even survive 8hours after the visit to use ????????♂️

It's hard to appreciate the place where you put your best friend to sleep...but they were compassionate and professional and they let me call the shots until the end. You can't ask for more.

I believe that this has to be the best experience at a vet I’ve ever had. The staff was awesome and Dr. Pearson was so kind and took the time to explain things. I didn’t feel like a number. Thank you very much. Dennis.

If you own an exotic pet in Amarillo, you probably know how few resources there are to care for them. A little while ago, we had two emergencies back to back with our rabbit. Literally no one else in town would take him without an appointment, and with rabbits, that little bit of time is crucial. Both times, plus an additional emergency check-up, Noah’s Ark fit him in right away. One thing that struck me about Dr. Pearson was how gentle he was with my boy. Previous vets we’ve taken him to handled him with impatience, holding him by the scruff of the neck to do basic things. Dr. Pearson and his wonderful, wonderful vet tech Hannah talked sweetly to him, covered his eyes and handled him with respect and love. When Wally had to have his eye sewn shut as a first defense against an infection, Hannah literally carried him around for four-ish hours while he recovered from sedation. It breaks my heart for her that she has that time to get attached to animals who might not make it. Our baby didn’t make it, but we know they did their best to keep him out of pain, to show him love and respect, and to give him a fighting chance. When they found out he had died, they sent us a beautiful flower to help us mourn him. Everyone in the office knew his name and took our calls constantly while we fought for him to stay alive. They are exceptional. All of them.

We drove from rural New Mexico to get care for our dog (my baby!) who'd been attacked by another dog. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Pearson & all the staff at Noah's Ark. The drive was worth every minute. We left feeling confident our girl was getting the very best care. Dr Pearson & staff are kind, compassionate, & empathetic. He was very clear in explaining the treatment plan & and his thinking behind it. And they take COVID precautions seriously. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

If I could leave Noah's Ark Pet Hospital a 0 star rating, I would. Worst vet experience ever, and I've owned many animals and been to many a vet. I just got a golden doodle puppy and was very excited for our first vet appointment. While sitting in the waiting room, Dr. Olson came in to promote and try and sell me an Adaptil collar. She let me know it keeps dogs calm and is a great investment for their future. I said that's interesting, how does it work? In a snarky, annoyed tone, she told me, "I don't know, how does Advil work? The collar just works." At this point in the conversation, I didn't even realize the collar released pheromones to help keep dogs calm, so I was a bit confused what it was all about - for all I knew it was a regular collar. She was very short with me, then proceeded to print me off an entire medical study (over 10 pages of medical veterinarian jargon) explaining how Adaptil works, rather than just explaining it to me in layman's terms. She told me I could read up to learn more, as if it was my job to know how Adaptil works. That set the tone of my appointment, but I tried to brush it off. Next, Dr. Pearson came in. I let him know that my puppy had vaccinations at 6 and 8 weeks. I understood that the 6 week shots might not be effective because that's too young for them to really work, but I asked if the 8 week shots would work and if we could build the puppy's future vaccinations off of those (since I had all the previous medical records). In an incredibly disrespectful and almost annoyed tone, he told me, "Why don't you just let me take care of your dog and we'll go from there, huh?" I was absolutely baffled that he spoke to me in this way. Without even a pause, he stuck my dog with a needle to start her on a brand new round of vaccinations (as if the puppy had received none in the past). I didn't even know what the shot was because he didn't explain it to me. Rather than looking at the puppy's records and explaining to me why he was doing what he was doing, he spoke to me like he knew best and I was stupid for asking. This felt like a money scheme, as if he was trying to vaccinate my dog from the beginning so that Noah's Ark would get the full amount of money. Dr. Pearson may say it was in the best interest of the puppy, but it felt exactly the opposite. Another example of Dr. Pearson's unprofessional behavior, later in the appointment he asked me what food I was feeding the puppy. I let him know I couldn't remember, but I had a picture on my phone. While I was looking up the type of food on my phone (which took less than a 30 seconds), he looked at his watch and asked his vet tech assistant if they had another appointment they needed to get to - as if I was taking too long or being inconvenient. Overall, Dr. Pearson acted rushed, unprofessional, and had terrible bed-side manners. I will never take a pet back to Noah's Ark Pet Hospital, and I recommend you do the same if you're looking for a new veterinarian. On a positive note, the front desk assistant (Kyla, I believe) was very kind and receptive, and Madi, the vet's assistant, was excellent. Save your money and go somewhere else to get your pet seen. Dr. Pearson and Dr. Olson are not worth your time.

Today I had to say goodbye to one of my fur babies. Frog was a beautiful and loving bunny. He had broken a vertebra in his lower back and a rib. The break left him paralyzed in his hind legs. I was prepared for what was going to have to happen, but it was still extremely difficult. Dr. Pearson explained to me about Frog’s injuries and what would be best for him. There was no surgery or medication that could have saved him. The staff prepared him for me to say goodbye. I got to spend as much time with him as I wanted. The staff was incredibly sympathetic to me and my bunny. I just want to say thank you for making an extremely difficult day a little easier.
