My experience was not a pleasant one. The vetenerian did not introduce himself, and I confused him with the technician. He quickly corrected me, and said he doesn't do appointments or answer phone calls in a arrogant manner. When I asked him for pricing on flea medicine he said he doesn't do pricing either. Furthermore, I took my cat in because he grew an abscess due to an infection. He didn't bother to check the wound on my cat, which was hidden behind his hair. I paid $40 dollars for him to tell me what I already new, that the abscess had popped. I had to tell him that the tech had suggested to razor off the hair to see the wound, and recommended an antibiotic shot. He did give my cat a shot which I had to pay extra for. He left before the technician removed the hair to see the wound. Didn't do anything to earn the examination fee. Ridiculous! I called the secretary to tell her about his behavior, and she told me he went to school for 12 years and was educated as much as a doctor, doubtful, as if that gives him the excuse to act superior to others. She wasn't empathetic and justified the vet's behavior. A Vet that has no education on how to treat clients doesn't have much education. The tech on the other hand acted more like a professional. He was courteous, and told me how to take care of my pet. He was very helpful. However, I will not be bringing my pets here nor pay for services not rendered. Don't waist your time and money.

The vet is pushy and acts like he doesn't really give two craps about the animals, they are just money in his pocket ????

Have sent my animals to Dr. Praeger for over 30 years. Wouldn't trust my pets to anyone else; no disrespect to other Vets. Excellent care for them throughout their life span. He listens, he cares, and is a great Vet.

Took both dogs for regular check ups, nail trim, and microchipping. They offered amazing service and decent prices. My English bulldog needed a cherry eye removed and it has healed so perfectly!! So greatful that I found this vet clinic! Will be taking my other dog soon for her spay.

They botched our puppy's tails! We had a litter of nine Rottweiler's that we took to them for tail docking. When we picked them up they all had different sizes of tails and they told us its because the puppies that had the longest "docked" tails were the largest puppies. We complained and said we were very dissatisfies with them and spoke with the vet. He said he docked the tails to the breed standard which is supposed to cover the anus. Which is definitely NOT the breed standard. He then said as they got older they would shorten. Its safe to say they havent gotten shorter but much longer. Our pups tails look terrible and I will NEVER take them to this vet again.

I took my dog here for his shots this past summer, I got an appointment relatively quickly, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the vet who saw my dog was thorough, kind to me and my dog, and took time to answer all of my questions. 10/10

How do you call your self a vet? If you don't have a heart for animals. I found a stray kitty on Georgia st, cars going around it. I stopped to pick it up brought it here and they refuse to care for it! They were more worried about the money. What vet turns down a hurt animal? Why be a vet if you don't have the heart for animals. They were more worried about the financial situation then the kitty it self Knowing it was in pain & suffering. ???? it would of been easier if they peacefully euthanized it instead of letting it suffer.

I've had my dog Layla for a couple of yrs,she was overweight when I got her,I've never overfed her,but Dr prefer made me feel like a horrible person since she was overweight, little did I know she had a bowel obstruction, because I cut down her food, like he said to 2/3a cup ,but she kept getting fatter, I called last month & talked to the reception it &left my number, but no-one even bothered to call back ,so my little dog died, no I will never go back to them again !

I changed from another vet, who charged an arm and a leg plus sent home ticks (YES TICKS) with the medicine for my dog. Acoma (on the other hand) took very good care of my dog and they are very compassionate, which more than I can say for the young vet that saw my dog and wouldn't even come out to see me when I had a problem (in other word's - wouldn't look you in the eye except to tak your money). Acoma Vet will meet you head on and answer all your questions, AND look you in the eye no matter what. That is a great person and a vet!
