The Darling Dog Pet Salon Allen, Texas

We took our fur baby here for an over night stay. The staff was super nice and super helpful. When I went to pick up my fur baby they made me feel like they genuinely enjoyed him and he was super happy when we got him home. I have take him to other places and when he gets home he'll have diarrhea and seems scared and I DID NOT get that with him here. The place is over all nice I like that they keep them out and have them playing. My pup loves to be loved and I believe they made him feel safe and loved.

The staff is fantastic! Our dog leads us into the building. He comes home exhausted from doggie daycare so he's had a great time playing. Best grooming and daycare in Allen!

Extremely rude. Refused to service on my PREPAID appointment. Went to the salon on November 2nd and paid for whole month (5 baths). With that, I was supposed to take my dog once a week. I was not told that we have to be there same day every week. I skipped the second week as I did not feel a need. I did not ask for money back as it was my decision to skip. I took my dog the third week on Wednesday, called and made an appointment and third week went smooth. No one told me that I was supposed to bring him on Tuesday. My dog got his second bath. No one told me even on that day that I had to come on Tuesday making me feel that everything is going ok. 4th week of November, I called and suddenly the manager “Jennifer” bursted on me saying you had a no show the second week and you were late on the third week and you will not be given any appointment on the 4th and the 5th week. I told her that there must be a misunderstanding because I was not told that it has to be every Tuesday. At this point she furiously told me that my appointments were on Tuesdays. I said ok now that I understand, can I bring my dog on the next Tuesday November 30th. To that she said that I lost my November 30th appointment because I had a no show on November 9th. Even though they happily serviced us on November 18th without any complain. When I insisted to keep my appointment for November 30th as that was my paid appointment, she said “you can part ways with us. We do not have any appointments. We are very busy because of thanksgiving week” and tons of non stop blabbering that I could not hear after a while because she was screaming on the top of her lungs after one point. Repeatedly saying “you can part ways with us. We do not have any bather” i understand lack of staff but at least an accommodation has to be offered for a PREPAID service. I was not asking for a compensation for the missed appointment. I was even agreeing to giving away my current week’s appointment but her not honoring my next week’s paid appointment was beyond my understanding. We would have been a long term customers but sadly we have no choice but to part ways fromDarling dogs.

Our dogs seem happy enough being boarded here. They are pricey, but comparable to most places in town. Unhappily, they once waited until we arrived to drop the dogs off to tell us there was a kennel cough outbreak. The grooming services have been very good. They are able to do a good trim our dog's very unruly hair.

It's a really good resource. Daisy loves it and they seem happy to host her.

First time trying Darling Dog Day Spa out and I was very impressed. They were prompt, very friendly, and took excellent care of our dear Bella. We were very satisfied and will definitely be using their services again.

My mom and I take our dogs here. Brie at the front desk is very friendly and helpful, and I can't say enough about the owner, Jennifer. She has gone out of her way to give incredible customer service.

I have been meaning to write this for so long. Brie and Jennifer have been taking care of my two Boston Terriers for years now and I cannot recommend them enough! Not only are they sweet and caring with their human clients, I can tell that my puppies love them so much too. Thank you for always taking care of my babies, ladies!

I’ve been going to Darling Dog for about 5 years. They do an awesome job with my Carin Terrier. I can tell they they really love what they do by the way they take care of my puppy.

We had been letting our Morkie's hair grow because we have a specific way we want his ears and face to be cut. I even printed out pictures to take so they could see what we wanted. My husband picked him up and all the hair we had waited and waited to grow out so we could get what we were looking for had been cut off and his body and legs were practically shaved!! I'm so upset but I guess we'll wait for it to grow out again and try another groomer. I just don't understand how you can look at a picture as a guide and cut a dog's hair so completely opposite. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this groomer at all.

Nice team, take their time with grooming-love my dogs hair. Clean smells good . Eliminated his itchy skin too!! Price reasonable !!!

Always amazing. I moved farther away and still come here for my doggos. Knowing they take good care of my dog at a heart felt level is what is important to me. I have been here for many years. They cared for my 21 year old blind shitzu too. And she always came home happy!

This is a small locally owned shop. But that's what makes it great. They are patient with the dogs and their prices are great. But let's face it for a dog parent it's all about feeling like our children are being treated well. So great job!!

An absolutely wonderful pet salon. One of the employees I spoke to, bree, was amazing and very friendly and the grooming itself left me with no complaints at all. Plus they come out with a cute bandana or bow after they're done, whats not to love about that. Highly reccomend.

The staff at Darling Dogs in Allen are absolutely wonderful! We brought our two dogs to be boarded over the weekend, one of which is deaf and needs a little extra care, and they both loved it! The staff took them both outside to play together during the day and sent us daily check-ins with photos which really helped ease our minds while we were out of town. Thank you so much for taking care of our babies, Jack and Sphnx!

I been taking my dogs here for several years.I take 3 dogs at once too get there nails clipped. Amanda always greets us with a warm smile. Plus she is wonderful with my pets. If I owned business I would love too have her on my team.

The Darling Dog has the best customer service. All the staff members are nice, positive, and funny. I recommend bringing your dogs here. They care so much for the dogs. They treat all of the dogs as if they were their pets.
