First time visit, and could not have been treated better. From Jill, who answered the phone, to Dr. Sage who took car of my pup, everyone was cheerful, helpful, respectful. I’m sorry I did not get the names of the techs, as it was a very stressful time, but they all loved on my dog and treated her so well in he last hour. 5 stars is not enough for the comfort they gave to me and her. Thank you to everyone.

If you have the opportunity, bring your fur babies here!! The incredible staff at Junaluska Animal Hospital managed to squeeze my Aunt’s FIVE animals into a Saturday afternoon emergency appointment (when not a single other animal hospital within a 75 mile radius of Franklin, NC could/would) and not only were they friendly and TRUE animal lovers, they also went above and beyond to ensure our animals were cared for, loved, and had bright futures (they asked to make sure the animals had good homes, loving families, and future medical care). They communicated and worked with us so the bill didn’t break our bank - for five animals it could have been a disaster anywhere else. Junaluska and Dr. Manoli really took the time to discuss the animal’s and our options to ensure everyone was in the best position possible. I was truly impressed, amazed, and in awe of this agency. I hope you get to work/deal with Christine at the front desk, and Anna, who works directly with the animals - both are true angels sent from heaven. I am deeply grateful for everything Junaluska did for our fur babies and for us.

Junaluska was great, the doctor was so helpful and caring, knowledgeable and understandable. Concise plan for my pet going forward. Staff was great too, super friendly.

Can't say enough good things about this veteranery facility. Professional, caring and spends time with you to explain everything they did and what you need to do. Outstanding vetinary facility. Service is very reasonably priced.

I have used Junaluska Animal Hospital for over 20 years. With my two long term Vets retiring, I was naturally nervous about how I would find the new ones. I am pleased to say that I'm very happy with the quality and care my fur babies are receiving there! The only negative is that Junaluska's charges are on the high end but I'm willing to pay it for my babies to get the best care.

Dr Manoli has been great with my dog Poppy even calling several times to discuss his diagnosis and how he is doing. He even gave me printouts that give lots of information about his problems so I can fully understand them.

The great thing is that you have office hours on Sunday. I had an emergency situation that couldn't wait until Monday. The quality of care is also great.

I was amazed how eatup with COVID fear the establishment was. Curb service only, phone calls and texts to make the appointment and keep the appointment in numbered spaces. The staff had to walk out in the cold several times to complete the appointment. It was a ridiculous event. After , 30 years bringing my pets to Junaluska, I'll never go back again. The people were nice, the prices were expected, the service overall was beyond COVID safe, it was paranoid procedural silliness. You people are intelligent and well educated. Follow the science. What you are forcing your staff and customers to comply with Is ludicrous.

Saw Dr Mike. He was very nice and yet when my pet continued to have pain for 2 weeks I called to discuss. I was blocked repeatedly by receptionists from talking to anyone-techs, pharmacists or Dr M. I left messages and finally received tx that Dr M prescribed another med for my pet-or surgery. I asked to speak with Dr M again to discuss as I had questions about mef and pain mgmt. I finally asked and spoke with supervisor who "helped" by looking the new med up on Google! I had already done that-I wanted to know if med was replacing or being added to current pain meds? was it for long-term pain mgmt? did it require labwork as some meds do, etc? She didn't know. She explained they didn't want vets to be bothered with calls but she would make a note that I had asked for call. Another manager called later to tell me Dr Mike was busy with "a couple of intense case." I understand intense cases, I'm an ER nurse, but I had been politely requesting Dr M to discuss my pet's pain for 2 (TWO) weeks. Being a vet should include taking the time to discuss pain management and any new meds prescribed. I finally told them I would be going to another vet. Someone who wouldn't mind being "bothered" by a patient's concerns and legitimate questions, who would take the time to help address a pet in pain. My pet isn't dying and his injury is not severe but he has a significant amount of pain. I just needed to speak with vet to address concerns and options. Instead I got run around with intentional interference and excuses. I never did get a call back from Dr M.

Another excellent visit with two of our pups today at Junaluska, our home away from home. We loved Dr. Reason, other than the fact he told Lacey Lou she was a little overweight (lol), but seriously, you will not find a more organized clinic or more caring and accessible Docs and staff! Sarah and Danaan were a big help handling both dogs for their annual exams today. We highly recommend this practice.

I think the staff is very caring, has great customer service skills with pet parents & understands how special pets are to their human! Both the Dr./vet & vet tech take the time to explain procedures & most of all they don't push additional or unnecessary expenses, beyond the emergency.

Our dog actually loves going to Junaluska. Imagine a dog who likes her vet. She rushes in to greet everyone who works with her. Never had a dog that didn't put on brakes and head back to the car when they got to the vet office door.

We were extremely satisfied with our visit to your after hour emergency clinic. The nurse that worked with Lucky was very friendly and the way she explained the procedures that they would be doing were very understandable. The actual Veterinarian that came to the vehicle made things very understandable in what needed to be done for the next several days in order to get Lucky back to health. Our three little boys Elijah, Silas, & Coleman would like for me to tell your staff “Thank you for helping Lucky get better because we don’t know what we would do without him!” We will definitely be back in the future. Hopefully only for a checkup!

I unfortunately had to use this animal hospital for their emergency services on a week-end. I have NEVER encountered such lack of compassion from the front desk staff!!! Never once did they offer condolences, as I was trying to pay my bill for having to put my 16 year old dog to sleep, and they were extremely rude thru the entire process!! What person, especially in that line of work, would not be compassionate?? They were also incompetent because I had to give the staff my personal & billing information several times, and before I even made it back home, they had me set up on a "pet portal" thru email, even though I had just lost my dog, AND they were not my regular vet, as they were aware!! It was unfathomable to me, that a vet's office would show such lack of sensitivity to their client's. Perhaps lack of training or wrong people for the job, but it was a disgrace! Anyone knows that the process of making the decision to put your beloved pet to sleep is quite a difficult decision to make, and I fault the office staff for not helping their clients thru this process in the most compassionate manner possible! I spoke with the director after this encounter, BUT THEN to make matters worse one week later, I went to pick up my dog's ashes, and the woman at the front says, (as she hands me the bag with the ashes) "Here you go...Have a Great Day!!!" THAT WAS IT.....absolutely NO compassion and VERY cold hearted!!! I felt like this office was more concerned about the "business" versus the animals or their owners. Heartbreaking and a true disgrace for the lack of compassion !!!!! Not an office that I would EVER take my precious animals to be in their care!

I wish I remembered all of the names of those that were in contact with us, but the whole team was wonderful, compassionate and helpful. We were so pleased that we could be seen on the day that we called for an emergency with our little dog, Ginger. The person on the phone who made the appointment was also extremely helpful and caring. Dr.. Brewbaker was the one who examined Ginger and came out to talk to us. She was very understanding and comforting and did an excellent job of explaining her diagnosis and how hopeful she was for a recovery. The tech who brought her out to us did an excellent job of explaining the medications. We are very appreciative to Junaluska Animal Hospital for the care that they gave our elderly dog.

Usually have good care at Junaluska animal hospital. This past Monday I called for an emergency, the girl who answered Christine was rude and told me to come at 6:40. When I arrived they did not have me down for an appt.and they wanted me to wait over an hour or come back the next day. My pup had pneumonia and was having trouble breathing. I decided to wait and I was finally taken care of. This girls needs to go!! Rude and did not put my appointment down!!

I received a new puppy which had an exam and paperwork requirements within 48 hours of physical possession. In my sleep deprived state, I was chasing my tail and the Junaluska staff helped me complete the tasks required after several missteps on my part. This puppy is an adventure!!!

Waited over 30 minutes after appointment was set and arrived as planned. Took over 2 hours and wish that we did not have to wait in the car in your parking lot. We could have run our other errands if you had just let us know approximately how long the procedure would have taken ahead of time, because our time matters just like yours. Pricey and slow on responsiveness. Phil and Sharon Goode

The doctor knew my dog and understood the breed. She took the time with her and understood how to accomplish what needed to be done. She worked to save me money on her meds.

My Maddie is a recently diagnosed diabetic. We come on saturdays for frequent sugar checks. For some reason she’s become quite nervous. Until now she’s get excited and bark as we got near the facility. She’s been comfortable w/the staff and they’ve been loving and supportive to her as well. This past weekend Dr Resson could see how nervous she was so he and his 2 assistants actually came outside and did her check out there! Who does that? Dealing w/diabetes in dogs is new for me and has been scary and overwhelming. Dr Reason and his fabulous assistants have been nothing but supportive and reassuring. I’m thrilled to have found this practice. The best.

Someone needs to do something with Dr. Carmen. She continues to add unnecessary services before even asking the dog's owner prior leading to large vet charges. My daughter took her dog in this week for routine annual visit to get vaccines updated so we can kennel the dog for an upcoming trip. The dog is healthy and not sick whatsoever. She called in advance to see how much everything would cost. She was given a rough estimate of $125-130. The dog was returned to car after the visit with a bill of $452!!! Dr Carmen did let her know that the dog had wax in her ears and they cleaned them. She never asked first, they just cleaned them AND added some kind of ointment to the charges that was completely unnecessary. My daughter tried to explain the groomer will clean her ears at that visit but they didn't listen. This is the second time this particular vet has taken advantage of a young girl with her dog. The first time the dog was sick and they wanted to do all these tests to figure out she just had allergies. My daughter told them she couldn't afford much of the additional tests and wanted what was only necessary. Dr Carmen asked her how much she could do that day and my daughter made the mistake by telling her $600 because that bill was $598 just a couple of months ago. Its pretty sad you can't get needed quality care for your fur baby when you have a ridiculous vet trying to pad her pockets and pay for the new building or whatever her other hidden agendasmay be!! My sister in law has had this same issue a couple of times recently as well. This will be the last time you take advantage of our family and I will share this experience with every one I know. I would hate for this to happen to any other innocent person trying to care for their animal!!!

Fantastic techs and doctors which are extremely knowledgeable about all types of animals and ailments! Saved our Diva dog's life Labor Day weekend 2019. Found out she is diabetic. Everyone is/was so helpful in teaching us to deal with this daunting blow! Follow-up calls when treatment is required. I miss actually seeing the techs and doctors but their Covid protocol is top notch. Highly recommend for emergency and they are now her regular vet! Updated after Aug 4, 2021 visit. Two price hikes on blood draw for glucose testing. Spend more time in parking lot waiting, with a set appointment time, for tech to take dog in and out with results in less than ten minutes. Updated after Dec 20, 2021 visit: I have always had great experiences there. Unfortunately extenuating circumstances, end of the year, corona virus and much aggravation on my part, I erroneously took my frustration out on the always friendly and helpful receptionists. My sincere apologies for this! They were able to get me a same day appointment with Dr. Alt. Lovely technician (sorry didn't get her name ~ they are working Above and Beyond!) wrote down all my needs and questions and told me Dr. Alt would come out to my car and discuss the visit outcome. Dr. Alt came out, was very thorough with explanation, apologized for situation this dang virus has us in, again and did not leave my car until he was sure I had every thing I needed! I have highly recommended Junaluska Animal Hospital since Dr. Alt and staff saved our Diva dog, Speckles' life years ago. My praise for them is ten fold now!
