We've been with Applebrook Animal Hospital since our dogs were puppies, and our oldest dogs are now 10. We love this practice and the people that work there. They are up front about the costs before treatment. We've always found them very reasonably priced, and they have taken great care of our pets when they needed surgical treatments or dental cleanings. Honestly, if they could treat humans, I'd take my kids there with no hesitation. They are fantastic!

I’ve been taking my dog, Oliver, here for about 2 years. Recently, he started having breathing issues at night and was getting up, wandering around acting confused. He also started snoring out of nowhere. He’s a 15 year old, so I knew that …

I’m so glad I found Applebrook for my fur babies! Dr. Primm and Dr. Pepper are both always kind, attentive, and patient in answering all my questions, and the quality of care has not changed in the slightest because of the pandemic. Everyone else on staff has been a pleasure to interact with, especially Heather, who just radiates kindness and enthusiasm. I recommend this fear-free practice to every pet parent I know!

Applebrook is an excellent animal hospital. They really make Pebbles feel comfortable. They answer my questions and they always call to check on her after a vet visit.

Was able to get a quick appointment, but was disappointed that I couldn't go inside with my pet and talk to the vet eye to eye. Naturally, you always forget to ask a question that should have been asked, so that will mean that I will have to go back for another appointment later, hoping that the question I forgot to ask isn't something serious. Otherwise, everyone was very nice and took care of my cat.

This was my dogs first visit there. The staff and doctor were very kind and took time to inform me on the check-up and answer any questions. My wait wasn’t long, and we left feeling much better about our pups coughing concerns. I would recommend Applebrook to anyone. Thank you to the staff and doctors there!

We have two dogs. One had fleas (Later to find the second dog also had fleas (we never saw them when we bathed them, but the Doctor found them quickly). Now we are on a plan to defeat the fleas and rid them of our fur babies. Plus we are also very pleased when our Labradoodle got some kind of a stomach bug/virus and had some bad diarrhea. Again, they saw her, and spent a good amount of time with us helping us to go with a plan that is now helping her now. We love that they have a "No Fear Policy" with the dogs. They will sit on the floor and give the dogs treats to help them relax. Now, when we bring the Labradoodle to the Vet again, she is happy to see them.

This Vet Hospital is a sometimes "Fear Free" facility. "Fear Free" is at the discretion of the owner and her mood. The environment is chaotic for the rest of the employee's and quite hostile at times. The employee's have no solid concept of the company's polices as they change on a whim per the owners mood, what happens one day won't be policy the next. The employee's are treated unfairly but due to them loving what they do they endure the hardships incurred within. As a business owner you're the leader and the example but this owner is neither due to how she conducts herself with her employee's, the employee's deserve far better than what they receive for what they endure with their employment. I have seen this first hand and know of this first hand, I would've given this facility a one star but it isn't fair to the hard working employee's. Owners need to be held accountable for their actions and in this case with both patients and employee's as misleading them on services they should be getting or policies that are followed is an unsafe business practice and not safe for either the animals or the employee's. **Update** This is not a sub account, this is an established account that I've had since 2009 before I joined the military. Everything that was stated is factual and not based on opinions. It's super unfortunate that you have to deflect or even discredit a review so the truth of how you operate stays hidden. L.D.R.S.H.I.P You should learn and live this acronym (Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage) I learned this in Fort Benning, GA. Maybe one day this will help you become a better person and business owner as it made me a better person in the Army back in 2010. Besides you don't even offer Military discounts which is sad because even people like myself who have PTSD and have a sevice dog that needs veterinarian care and may not be able to afford the full cost of care. So enjoy thinking this is some sort of fake account, just be aware that it's not. ***Update*** Please be advised that this review has been based on exposing the truth about a business and it's conduct. I have not been a client there due to the fact that this business charges ridiculous prices for pet care that you can get elsewhere for less. I have other pieces of evidence that will further expose the bad business practices of this owner. The fact that my girlfriend is no longer employed there is irrelevant, my concern is with the bad business practices towards clients/patients, employees and other detrimental practices this owner. If the disservice to both employees and clients/patients continues then I will expose the full truth, what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong and the owner is wrong and unethical in many ways that people are unaware of.

I filled out the form on their website saying I was interested in being a new client because they are a fear free practice. The following day they gave me a call and I was able to make an appointment for the very next evening. My dog was only there for a meet and greet but had a wonderful time meeting two patient and kind techs (maybe vet assistants? One was named Paris!) who brought out an entire basket of different treats to feed my dog. They let her come to them, were gentle with petting, and let my dog become comfortable and not overwhelmed or scared. They brought out Dr Pepper who although potentially intimidating in size to a small dog like mine, got down on her level and instantly became my dog’s friend. I cannot wait to set up another appointment with this wonderful staff! There are plenty of vets between where I live and Applebrook, but I can’t imagine taking her anywhere else.

Even though the outcome was sad, the vet tech and Dr. Pepper were so kind. I liked the fact that the hospital put my kitty under euthanasia before putting her to sleep. Would highly recommend.

Regretfully, our experience with this practice has not met our expectations. The no fear policy did not fit well with our pet. We have taken him to two annual exams since 2018 and at each visit, the doctor was not able to complete the exam because they were afraid our pet would get too agitated if they administered care. We do not have time to come back for multiple appointments for a wellness check simply because our dog shows a little anxiety during the visit. Also, this practice did not honor a discount on a dental estimate that we were given in writing. When the dental exam had to be postponed because of the pandemic, we called to make sure the discount would still be honored and was given assurance that it would be. After pre-medicating our pet for the appointment, we arrived on the morning of the dental appointment and was told they would NOT honor the discount. Our time and money will be invested in a veterinary practice where our dog's wellness check can be thorough and completed in one visit and where the doctor and its staff are good on their word.

Doctors, assistants and staff are all professional, great to talk to and informative. They have a no fear policy and go above and beyond to make experience for owner and pet easy, comfortable and fun. Highly recommend.

Have two kittens I rescued from Wal-Mart in Dayton, TN. They are so kind and patient. This is my vet for living in this State.

I drive by this office every day, so when it came time to take my two kittens to a vet, I went with them. I always wondered what "Fear Free Certified" meant, but having been there now I know. …

Discovered a spot behind our dog's ear that was bleeding. I called, they got me in that same afternoon. Surgery was needed, which was scheduled for 2 days later. Surgery successful. All good. Great service and care.
