I had an appointment for a first exam for 9 wk old kittens who had already been sick and had to be seen at the emergency clinic. However upon showing up for the appointment I learned that it was "curbside" service only, I was not informed of this before, nor does their website mention this. I never got to see the vet, only got a phone call which was very brief, no information about the actual exam. Did they check for ear mites? Did they even weigh them? I don't know what was done, didn't even get any paperwork after only a receipt for a bill for $109 for nothing. I really needed some diagnostic testing and some other questions answered also, but hard to request or question anything from your car in the parking lot. So after wasting money I still have to find a vet with some common sense who isnt cowering in fear behind a filthy mask, behind a locked door, behind a phone! I'm very angry about this and really regret not just driving away!

Very happy with the vet care here. Prices are more reasonable than the other place we were going and I never felt like they were trying to hard sell product or service.

The place was so much friendlier before the guy from Rockwood bought it.

The owner's rebuttal to this post is about as responsive as I've seen him be.

I had never been to this place before, but heard about it through a friend, and my dog got hurt and even tho they were booked for that day, they worked me in and once I got there they were quick to get me in. The price was reasonable as well. I plan on taking my dog back if I ever have another problem with my dog...

Needed help with my (4 week old) puppy ASAP, they told me it sounds like he needed to be seen today but they could only get him in by next week. Not sure how that helps him. Reply: I needed help, not a second opinion. I was actually the one who asked if there was someone else who could see us that day and the person I spoke with said I could call other vets around town since y'all were booked up till next week or take him to Knoxville. Glad I didn't waste time trying to get downtown and called another vet in town. We were able to get him in that day within the hour and he was sent home feeling better after getting one shot of antibiotics. Thank you for recommending me to call around town!

I've had German shepherd dogs for 35 years. This clinic is the most organized and accomadating of any vet clinic I've ever used. Thanks for your help making Ella feel better.

I have a 100 pound Pitbull who is not very social and she has a regular vet in Knoxville Off Broadway who is also wonderful.. but we moved to Oakridge 2 years ago and tried a couple of vets here and none of them were good... I finally got referred to Jackson Square and they were amazing.. awesome... considerate.. sweet ..compassionate.. patient ...and I know that a lot of people write reviews for money but I'm not getting anything for this I just know that other fur parents need a good place to take their babies ..she doesn't like her toenails to be cut by her daddy and I.. I don't know why after she got fixed she just changed and won't let us do it.. so we have to take her to the vet to let them do it and even though she is very difficult Lord knows I love my fur baby but even though she's super difficult to cut her nails they did it anyway... with all of the patients and love like it was coming from me ..I recommend this place to anybody that has a dog.. cat any kind of animal ..I would definitely go here before you go anywhere else five stars for me thank you Jackson Square for taking such good care of my baby I will continue to come see you guys y'all are superheroes to me and my babies

Best vet's office I've ever been to. Every time I go they get me in on time or early, and they always do a great job with my fairly difficult cat. It's going to be hard to replace them when I move. Thanks for everything, Jackson Square AC!

I live out of state, but had to come to Tennessee for a work trip. My poor baby had to have her tail amputated two weeks ago due to an accident (at a vet in Florida) and I brought her here to get the stitches taken out. This was honestly one of the best vet experiences I’ve had! My vet in Florida made me feel like I was being dramatic when I brought in my dog bleeding, missing half of her tail. It was one of the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had, but everyone at Jackson Square was super sweet, and empathetic when they heard what happened. I really appreciate the compassion, and y’all taking care of my baby ❤️

My maltese has been a JSAC patient 14+ years. The building is freshly painted, the parking lot has been resurfaced and there are automated systems in place. This is not the same JSAC Dr Barbara Reeve, DVM owned and operated for many many years-- not even close. The current owner is not a veterinarian. It's shameful Dr Reeve's good name and reputation still appear on the JSAC website.

Super nice and caring people. Even with the lock down they understand your pets need care and are open via curbside. My animals always come out happy.

After being a patient for 20+ years, our cat was in a fight on Friday. When I called for appt, I was told they had no opening. I said I understand but he is bleeding and in pain. Again I was told, "they were booked solid and he could give me the number of the emergency clinic in Knoville." I told him if we had to go there we would be changing doctors. We were seen at Clinton Animal Clinic and after a 15 min appt, we left with stitches and an antibotic. THEY have a new client.

This is asking why I don't like this place I wouldn't say that but I will say I won't be bringing my other dogs here. The second I said "sounds like kennel cough" the secretary would talk over me and not let me finish what I'm trying to explain. After paying for 2 visits hopefully the new medication regimen will work. I think the reluctance to properly treat and hear me out is because he's been nowhere but home and their office. Also lost a bit of trust because the lady I spoke with on phone this morning was trying to convince me the tramadol they gave him was a muscle relaxer, its like an nsaid, didn't bother telling her I have worked in health care most my life and know some medications

My dog has received the best care and with caring staff. She is a rescue but treated like a queen when she is there. She actually loves going. I’m glad to have them care for her.
