Ok this is s update. I took Ebony in last week she was having some problems with diarrhea for some reason her diet has not changed however she is 13 years old and wasn’t feeling too well so I took her and I called the doctor on the phone he said bring her and he treated her with several different medicines she is now doing very well back to eating looking out the window so what I have to do is carry Ebony outside every day because I’m not gonna let her run wild with this Covid thing going on so I’ll take her for a walk I just carry her to the corner and back just so she can get some air and see what’s going on I really appreciate the doctor taking care of her as quick as he did and I will continue to go to ideal veterinary Hospital thank you so very much for taking care of her and Wolfie has moved to New Hampshire so he’s happy there and muffin has moved to North Carolina with her new family and she’s happy. All the cats are happy and me too. 01/11/22 The Drs. here are really caring people, I personally love the care they gave my cat also the help they gave me when I had knee surgery the bought the cat food and extra lids to me at home that was left behind. They are always supper busy, so I always allow a little time to wait that’s a good trade off for the service. I recently went back, 02/21 Dr. Shaw is the greatest Vet I’ve taken another cat Wolfie he was a stray now he is in the home of 92 year old client. They are inseparable . Dr.Shaw got Wolfie all fixed up he’s happy

They are the most caring I've ever been to! They love the animals from the receptionist to the kennels! The Dr know there stuff and my past dogs loved and we're loved by them!!

This Thanksgiving we are thankful for Ideal vet and all of their staff for helping us save our baby Leo. They are wonderful and caring and for that we are thankful.

I liked the doctors and rest of the staff but I was told over phone one price for the test my dog needed and then when went to pay bill it was 18.00 more .yes my baby is worth that but I'm on disablity I have limited income ...... Edit ..9/22/2021 Office Manager called and made the situation right for me ...Thank you .. They do have really awesome staff and vets and have always taken care of my baby ..And I appreciate them ...

I have been with Ideal Vet for nearly 8 years. I bring all of my pets, and they have always treated us with great customer service. To say that they have saved my dog's life is an understatement. The people who work here are some of the best I've seen in a vet's office. Thank you!

my Yorkie was mangled by Pitbull rip the contestants out had a swell area as big as two softballs and we went to Utah and got estimates that they tell the levels that would take care of your love and anyway from 1200 to 7000. to me that's crazy estimates on a dog's life. I'm a dog personand so are the people that I give that they done an unparalleled awesome job I fixed my my dogs ripped contestants was in 3 weeks she was back to normal after a catastrophic Pit Bull modeling. my hats offto the to the nurses and whoever helps and the master surgeon who owns the place couldn't be a better place

I live in AZ but I was visiting family in TN with my puppy and she started not feeling well so I made an appointment here and when the lady came out to get my puppy, I heard her yelling at someone. I think her name was Rebecca and she seemed very inconsiderate, rude, and I’ll be honest, a bit lazy. She huffed a bit when she came to get my puppy. I will not be recommending this place to my TN family just because of my experience with her.

These guys are wonderful - always willing to squeeze us in if necessary, usually on time for appointments, and very caring and patient with pet owners.

Absolutely rude and unprofessional. My dog was having an issue that needed to be looked at. I called and was told a vet was on vacation and would be back at a later time. When I called (four days later because that's when the vet was supposed to be in), the lady on the phone told me that the vet was never on vacation and that they are just booked for several weeks and low staffed. I was FURIOUS. I was lied to about a vet not being on site when my dog needed help, and then when I asked if a note could be left, they told me no because they weren't sure when a vet would look at their notes. I then asked what else I could do for my dog, and the lady said "have you not thought about taking your dog somewhere else like other people do when we're busy?" Needless to say, I have switched vets and WILL NEVER go back to this vet office again.

My cat was throwing up multiple times a day. They worked him in for an emergency visit and found the cause. He had swallowed a wire. They got him in for surgery the next day. Everything went really and they took great care of him. I had to call in order to find out how he did in the surgery and there weren't any discharge instructions. I think that they are a bit overwhelmed and need to hire another assistant. This is probably due to their very reasonable prices and great doctors.

Called and gave symptoms that should be taken as an emergency, scheduled me an appointment almost 2 weeks away, finally sees my pet does a regular checkup and a couple tests, sends still very Ill animal home. 2 days later(Today) I take my pet to animal ER and my pet ends up having to put to sleep due to something that could've been prevented if I didn't have to wait 2 weeks to be seen. 1/10 do not recommend.

Dr. Shaw is by far the best vet we've been to since Dr. Butler Sr. was still alive. He helped us battle cancer (along with UT Vet. Hospital Oncology) with my last boxer, Mochi Kai, and he's now seeing my new boxer puppy, Makani Kai. I wouldn't trust any other vet with her.

Just tried to call to get a baby kitten in to be seen we just found. They said Thursday was first available, and it’s Monday. Told them we are pretty sure kitten has worms… The person who answered phone didn’t seem to care.

Dr Shaw is a great veterinarian and the prices are fair. He always explains things in GREAT detail. We've been taking our pets there for the last 10 years and he's always taking great care of them. I have one dog that is VERY accident-prone... He has became the bionic dog. The customer service side could do a little better tho. I can tell the staff has communication issues within themselves.

I took my dog in for minor skin irritation. They obviously didn't watch him like I was promised. He came back bloody

Ideal is the best animal hospital in my books. The staff is friendly and caring and the doctors are very good and caring

Couldn’t be with our dogs during exams. Switching Vets! Wasn’t made aware of any Covid restrictions before appointments were made. Drove an hour with 2 Great Danes to be told we couldn’t be in the exam room. The owner said we had a choice in the review response, so apparently there is not a clear line of communication between the business and employees.

They are wonderful and so caring with our Rubble!
