Petco Murfreesboro, Tennessee

It's the only store that I will go buy my cat litter from. Their litter is better than the name brand we use to get.

Products to pricey and I don't recommend gift cards from this place if you don't want something they have you have to settle from product you don't need just to get the money back

Just adopted a guinea pig that had health issues even tho they said was healthy. I returned him and they wouldn't even offer a refund. Guinea pig had bumble foot and his cage made had respiratory issues. Shame on you Petco for selling sick animals. Just lost a customer for good.

Even in the midst of Covid, there were a few clerks, thank you for being there everyone who were! Although, I didn't find our picky dog's red treats, we did find the "Greenies" that they like. Thank you!

I gave them five stars because they are a great place to get my pet anything, but a little disappointed that they didn't have a huge selection of dog toys but they have like five aisles of cat toys, we found something for our Bella but like I said there wasn't a lot of selection but the staff are really nice and they talk to you and help you out in any way they can and it's for long as I can remember going there I've never had a problem with customer service prices or anything definitely a five star but I wish they had more options

Took our puppy to Petco for his first trim and almost didn’t leave him as we witness one of the groomers frustrated with a dog she was working with and she was slamming stuff around and even dropped the F word. 35 dollars later the only thing that was trimmed or touched was it looked like he was scissor cut just right above his eyes and nothing else was trimmed at all. He is a very fluffy dog and he needed his underneath trimmed as well as his back end needed to be trimmed for hygienic reasons, but nothing was trimmed. I could have taken scissors and trimmed right above his eyes and saved ourselves $35. He had been bathed and looked very clean so I will give them that, but that sure was an expensive bath!!

Overall the selection for reptile nutrition that is at the Murfreesboro store seems greater than PetSmart's. The staff is always friendly and willing to answer any questions or concerns. Pricing is fair and reasonable. I recently adopted a bearded dragon which seems healthy and is very active. He also showed no signs of stress relocation which is definitely a plus. The only thing I would like to see in stock would be black soldier fly larvae because currently I can only get those online.

Good place for my dog food

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE TO BE GROOMED. Worst experience possible I left crying in the parking lot. Took my Aussiedoodle in for a full cut and bath. His hair had grown out and was matted on top of his head and by his paws. Sarah the groomer felt the mats before I handed him over and we discussed a 10 blade to get rid of everything. I get a call mid groom saying he is “agitated” (NOT aggressive) and that they recommended I sedate my pup and have the vet groom him. The condition I got him back in was HORRENDOUS. Imagine a poodle half shaved- head and paws still fluffy. They didn’t even have me pay they knew how terrible it was. First and foremost they are overbooked to begin with. When I came in sarah seemed annoyed she had another dog to groom “she didn’t know about” she recommended I get him before they close (at 6:00) mind you I was there at 11:00 am for the appt. all around I could tell they had no patience for my pup and didn’t want to groom him do to the inconvenience of matted hair. making his 2nd ever grooming experience traumatic. I had several people say petco is terrible for grooming after I told them the story. I guess that’s what happens when you try the cheap route for a hair cut. Never again! Took him to LILAH BELLE BOUTIQUE 20 min away in Smyrna and they had no issues whatsoever grooming him. Can’t believe they made me believe my pup was in such bad condition he needed to be sedated. What a joke.

Petco in general is a good bulk item pet store with a few interesting items. This one in Murfreesboro was decently stocked, clean, and well layed out. We had adopted a dog about an hour earlier and needed to pick up some basic supplies on the way home. This dog is an older 3 legged calm and quiet dog that currently has no interest in toys or chewing. Got some foam stairs that may not work out, a soft fluffy bed that has been a big hit, and some joint supplements, treats, etc.

Great service in the fish department. The gentleman who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made my shopping experience very enjoyable.

What a wonderful experience from start to finish!! I have two,three month old Burnadooles naturally a handful. Shara greeted us when we walked in introducing herself as the groomer for the puppies. Took time explaining the details of how she felt would be best for them. And listen to my ideas. When I picked them up, I met the manager and another groomer Bonnie. Both as kind and professional as Shara. The puppies looked amazing!! Showing no hint of trauma at all. They have a great money saving program with cash back...I'll be signing up for. Fantastic caring team. Thank you all so much. My dogs will never be afraid of the ride to petco.

I've been going to a different store for years and though they are good these people at Petsmart are great! You can really see they love animals and we're very helpful.

Had items in stock, however the store was in disarray the fee times I've gone in.

Sweetest people and a decent collection of animals. Plus pretty fair priced items.
