We have been going to Dr Kara for years. Dr Kara and staff has always done right by us and truly care about fur babies. Our most recent visit was for JJ. He lost the hair from the top of his head and we had no idea why. Off to the vet! Dr. Kara and the staff of the Loudon County Animal Hospital fixed him up. Below is a part copy and paste of an email JJ sent Thanking them and wishing them a Merry Christmas. :) Attached is two photos of JJ. One is what he looks like now and super happy. The other is a before picture taken right before his vet appointment with Dr. Kara (best vet in the world). He is very happy now that he does not feel the need to wear a hat or a wig to cover the top of his head. Thank You all so much from us and JJ. :) Merry Christmas!! From, Robert and Penny and of course JJ ps: You all have helped us through some very hard trying times with first Monty, then Soldier Girl. Thank You

Squeezed us in as out of towners to help our dog that seemed to develop an issue while we were visiting from Minnesota. So grateful. Kind, loving staff. Thank you! From grateful Minnesotans

I called to ask if my new puppy was old enough to get his vaccines yet. I told the person on the phone that he was 14 weeks old and weighs about 20 lbs. They put me on hold to ask the vet, and then they came back and said “Yea, He’s good to go, what time can we schedule an appointment?” I scheduled the appointment for 3pm. No one else was on the waiting room except me when I got there at 3pm. I sat in the waiting room until 3:30 then they put me in a room. Then I sat in that room for another 5 minutes just for someone to come back and say “So he’s only 14 weeks old? We only do his rabies vaccine at 16 weeks.” I said, “That is why I asked the question about his age and weight when I called to schedule the appointment.” All the person had to say was “well we’ve told the ladies in the front that it’s 16 weeks and we have a sign that tells them that.” The last time I had to take one of our other dogs for a checkup we waited in a room for 45 mins before they took care of us. What is the point of scheduling an appointment? We are using a different vet from now on.

Amazing team! Incredibly kind and caring doctor. Welcoming, attentive and obviously dedicated to critters and their families. Our scruffy little pooch wasn’t the slightest bit nervous by the time we left as they all took time to make her feel safe. We left feeling truly grateful to have found them. Good people!

It's drive up only, which is particularly hard for me. I'm used to knowing all the doctors and being able to go back with my pets. New puppy so I'm not totally attached yet, but still hard waiting in the car. Everyone I have met were very pleasant and answered all my crazy questions. Pleased except the distance thing not going with your pet. Yes Dr Cara I knew it was you. You have always answered above and beyond my questions. She comes back out very calm (more so than when she went in). I can tell she's happy to go even if it is the vets office. I know it's mostly just me. I don't hesitate to bring her there and highly recommend your office! It's been a while since we have had a fur baby and I guess I'm a little out of practice and a nervous new mom.

My first visit, we're from Texas visiting, we needed to establish a relationship with Vet. They are very friendly and we felt comfortable with them taking care of our little Charlie. Glad we found a great place.

Our dog suffered for over 2 years with chronic illnesses. We moved to the area and went to see Dr. Kara. Now our little Sadie is doing great! Thank you, Dr. Kara! We are extremely pleased with this practice. Highly recommend.

I read some negative reviews but thought all business's deserve a chance. I'm sorry I gave this business a chance. I had my dogs teeth cleaned along with some other things she needed done. Her teeth looked no different after the several hundred dollars I was charged. I've tried contacting them several times concerning other items of concern and I am always treated rudely and phone calls are not returned. This business does not deserve a second chance and I would advise you to find doctors and staff that actually care about your pet and not only the money they can charge you.

My two (used to be three) dogs, have been seeing Doctor Kara for 2 and 1/2 years now. She's very loving and caring for the pets. She makes me feel at ease when I have to leave my dogs with her. Both of my dogs have anxiety. Doctor Kara is very gentle and will get right down on the floor with them, to help calm their anxiety. Thank you, Doctor Kara.

We love Dr. Kara. Her love for animals is evident, and she is great at what she does. We had a rescue dog who contracted parvo, and we brought her to the Loudon County Animal Hospital and they were able to help save her. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about Dr. Kara and her staff. Dr. Kara is the best, most caring, and knowledgeable doctor that my "babies" have ever had! She makes a special effort for each of them. She also treats her clients with love, kindness, and respect -- always considering the feelings and needs for both the client and their pets. Dr. Kara's staff also are very caring, professional, and polite. Thanks, Dr. Kara for always being there for me, my "babies" and especially, my little "Princess" God bless you and your wonderful staff!

At the end of the year, I like to thank all those who have helped me. And due to COVID, this year has been a horror, for sure. I am SO GRATEFUL I have Loudon County Animal Hospital in my corner. I have a small charitable organization that tries to help out people who have pets with medical problems and people who find animals in need. Looking back over the year, I remember when COVID first caused everyone to close their doors and minimize contact. Of course, a small litter of abandoned kittens showed up with a diarrhea (which can kill them quickly) that we could not cure with the "usual" methods. I called LCAH, and explained the situation. Dropping off a sample, I got a diagnosis within a few minutes. It wasn't something we run into often, but there it was. Medicine prescribed, administered, and 4 kittens survived and got homes! Then there was the abandoned Russian blue female at the gas station. Beautiful, but you could tell something was "off". A quick call to LCAH explaining the situation, and in she went. She had a severe uterine infection. She was immediately spayed, healed at my home, and got a wonderful new home. Then there was the wonderful lady who wanted to trap and spay a beautiful Calico that had had too many litters in her neighborhood. We got the Calico caught, but the lady didn't want to keep her in the trap. What to do. A quick call to LCAH, detailing the problem -- and in the Calico went, was spayed and now lives with the wonderful lady. All of these, and many more, happy stories could only have happened because of LCAH. THANK YOU ALL!!!
