My dog was attacked by another larger dog and i brought him in without an appointment where the graciously took him back and did an amazing job of checking him out and repairing the damage done to Scrappy! I was terrified but after leaving Scrappy in their capable hands I felt immediate relief knowing he would receive the best of care!! Thank you to the drs and staff at Animal Medical Clinic of Loudon County for saving my baby!!

This clinic is the best. Dr. Heather is great. She is well versed and knowledgeable. When my dogs are in her care i know they are well taken care of. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the clinic. Dr Heather appreciates all the people who trust her to care for their pets.

Dr O'Brian is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She is friendly and always has a big smile when she sees you.She spends long hrs taking care of all the animals that come into the office. She takes excellent care of my 4 dogs. This community is so blessed to have such a caring Vet. I appreciate all the care she gives my dogs.

My fur babies love coming here. They are treated very good and happy to see everyone at the clinic. I’ve never had fur babies that have been excited about going to the vets before, but they love going here. Also the office is nice and clean and doesn’t smell like a vets office normally smells.

I have been going to Dr. O’Brien for years. Even though her prices were insane I loved how the staff took care of my pets, or so I thought. I recently moved and had to change vets, now I know what it’s like to go to a REAL vet! Dr. O is extremely overpriced, the lobby and rooms are filthy, and the front desk is rude. However, they’re probably rude because they’re overworked. I swear those ladies NEVER get a break and work every day. Not to mention, she and her husband have rental properties that my friends have rented from her…..she is a complete slumlord. Will not fix anything even if it’s causing health problems for the children living in her houses! If this is how she can treat a human being just imagine how she really treats your pets behind closed doors! I wouldn’t even leave my stuffed animal with her!!!!!

This place was amazing. I am from Michigan and my Yorkie got sick and they were there to help. They were all so friendly and very helpful. Thanks again so much.

My mother in law paid for a package to get all his shots and everything when she went back to get my dog fixed they are saying that she didn’t pay for it so she had to pay another $300 So I don’t recommend this clinic they will screw you over

I was visiting helping take care of my sick grandaddy when my little English Bulldog go sick this was the only place in east tenn beside the er which we was on our way to one of them when animal medical clinic of Loudon worked us in. They was great helps get my baby on the road to recovery everybody was great and friendly from the front desk all the way back to grooming. And it was not expensive as many of the reviews say them must be getting animal care for free or some family care for their animals at a discount to say they were expensive because they are not I was very pleased. I got about 4 meds filled one was for like a 2 month supply cut her nails check her head to toe tested her urine all for about $280.00. I was dreading the bill after the reviews but was very happy all the way around I advised everybody to take their animals to this place.

New staff every time I go. Service has suffered.

Dr. O'Brien has saved my cat's life many times. She knows veterinary medicine very well. Prices are a bit high, but I trust that my cat is in good hands.

This animal hospital has treated my cats and dog very well over many years now. Kind, caring, and able to be very flexible.

The vet is really nice and not pushy about things. Gives her professional advice and options, but let's you make the decisions. She is very knowledgeable. Front desk and techs always nice to work with as well. Will continue to bring my pets here.

Always nice helpful when I take my sweet furbabies

While the staff and Vet are friendly, it took an hour and a half for a well visit and vaccine. Too many appointments too close together. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. The lobby and exam rooms were not clean by any stretch of the imagination.

I’ve used Dr. O’Brien for years and have always been pleased even if they’re expensive. After my last visit however, I will never go back. I’ll add that I’ve reached out and left several messages to try to work this out but have never received a return call. Thus I’m left with leaving a review. Bare with me. I recently took my cat for his annual shots (x2) and to be groomed.. nothing else. I spoke with 2 receptionist’s on separate days prior to my visit to assure what would be done and nothing more. It was well established. Morning of the appointment I once again went over what was to be done. 2 annual shots, no exam, and grooming. She wrote it down and I left. I returned at 5pm to get him. At 5:40 it was my turn (they were very short staffed) my bill should’ve been roughly $100 pre tax. She told me it was $200... I asked for a breakdown in charges only be told his exam for the anesthesia (asked them not to do) was x amount, his ANESTHESIA (definitely didn’t want!) was x amount, and everything I did ask for was x amount. I was shocked and asked why in the world would they put him to sleep (he’s well behaved for baths) and also 11 years old, she said oh were we not supposed to? I’m so sorry. I was mortified. Thankfully he didn’t have an allergic reaction or worse. He wasn’t right the rest of the evening as most probably aren’t. I’ve left out details such as the lady in front of me that morning asked for her dog to be put to sleep since he didn’t do well with grooming but maybe that’s relevant. I get people make mistakes but I had to pay an extra almost $100 because of services they rendered that I did not want or agree to. Animal medical, if you see this and wish to return my calls I will be more than happy to discuss this, in hopes this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I love this vet. Pricing wise it is perhaps slightly more expensive than some other choices, but hiring good caring staff costs money. My dog had extremely quick recovering time and for once was not even scared of the vet. In contrast to another review posted, here is my dog 1 week after getting spayed.

They do a great job with our cats.

This is a wonderful family friendly vet! We have 5 dogs that we take there and they are always responsive to our needs. Just love Kristin and Dr. O!

I waited from 3:30 pm when my appointment was at 4 pm with Mitzi wasn't about to seen till 5 pm when other people was coming in and being seen before. Very rude ????

I’ve been bringing my dog here or about 8 years. Dr. Heather is the best! My problem is how long it takes to check in and out. The waiting room is so small that if there are more than two people it is impossible to social distance. That’s why it’s even more upsetting at how long it takes to get waited on. The problem is that they only have one person up front. The last time I tried to pay the receptionist stopped 3 different times to answer the phone. She got up twice and went to the back to ask a question for someone on the phone. She walked as slow as humanly possible despite a backed up waiting room. After 30 minutes I finally paid my Bill and then it was another 10 minutes waiting on someone to bring my dog to me. It should not take 40 minutes to pick up your pet. This was not a one time thing. It’s always like this. It’s very aggravating and I really dread coming here especially during the pandemic. I don’t want to switch vets because my dog is use to Dr. Heather but they really need to up their game in the reception area and get us in and out of there as quick as possible. I feel like a sitting duck for the COVID virus in there.

I was only there for my dogs annual exam. The staff barely acknowledged me. I was kept waiting for an hour past my scheduled appointment time and then the bill at the end was ridiculously high. I will not be returning.
