This is by far the BEST Vet that I have ever experienced. Dr.Russell is the sweetest, straight forward and most compassionate Dr I have encountered. We did end up needing to make the hard decision to put our baby down and the entire staff was the greatest and sent a sympathy card which meant a LOT. I can not say enough kind things about them. Thank you all from our hearts.

The people that work in this clinic are incredibly kind and the doctor wants nothing more than your pets good health!

If you want an all caring staff who take just as much care of the owners as they do pets go to Volunteer Veterinary Hospital. They take the time to listen, are genuinely kind, and love what they do.

I was quite happy with my service there and the prices weren't over inflated like most veterinarians. I immediately signed up my other dog for an appointment there and was just as impressed that time too.

We have been taking our dog Scooter to this vet for several years and have loved every visit with them. They are very affordable and caring and always go out of their way to make time for us when we need something. The front desk staff always loves on Scooter when we come in, and they always remember us. We are moving to a new area and we are having a tough time finding a vet that comes close to the care we've received from Volunteer Vet. We're going to miss you guys so much!!

Dr. Biehl is wonderful. He takes his time and talks with you and explains things in ways you understand. Been going to him over 30 years.

They are so great. They are taking the time to help me get my sweet Carmelo better. (His skin had become scaly and he lost most of his fur) I had been to another vet in the past and they just tried to sale me an expensive shampoo and that was all. They have started him on meds and are running tests to find out what is truly wrong with him. He is already looking and acting so much better. He has bad allergies and they are checking a few other things to see if that is contributing as well.

I have taken my baby here for 3 years & have always been happy with the love & care they provide for my girl. All the doctors & techs are wonderful. Also very reasonable prices for services received. I’m happy I found a great office where my girl (& i)are comfortable & happy, makes all the difference in the world. ❤️

The front staff is so friendly and welcoming, the office is clean and Dr. Russell is great. She is very caring of your pet and listens to your concerns. Highly recommended!

Love this vet! The staff has been consistently great and I feel that they care for every pet that comes in the doors, as well as being honest and reasonably priced.

They do what they're supposed to do take care of your pets.

By far the best Vet experience I have ever had. From the efficient, patient, kind, helpful front desk staff to the amazing Dr and back office staff. I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. They listened to me and sympathized with my situation with my cat. The outcome of my visit was a win/win for me and Kayla kitty. I can NOT thank them enough or give them enough stars to show my appreciation.

Very friendly helped with our dogs problems even though we were from out of town

We’ve taken our 13-14 yr old cat, Pegasus, to 3 different vets & gotten 3 different opinions, because she’s a very sick fur baby. She spends 90% of her day drinking from her water bowl, yet she stays terribly dehydrated, she throws up several times a day, & has went from 6.5lbs to less than 4. We finally came to Volunteer Animal Hospital & the staff has been EXCEPTIONAL! Even the front desk staff (I’m especially talkin about you Kristin!) goes above & beyond. They genuinely care & take the time to ask questions rather than just taking your name & payment. The veterinarians & vet techs also take the time to listen & answer my questions (no matter how crazy they might be), patiently. I myself, am the kind of person who generally relies on reviews or word of mouth when deciding on where to take my business, so when I receive the kind of service like they provide at Volunteer Animal Hospital, I want others to have the opportunity to have the same, wonderful experience. If you love your fur babies like I do & are looking for a new veterinarian, I highly suggest you check them out.

I just moved to Knoxville and was looking for a great place I could trust to take care of my lab/pit mix. This place was friendly, professional, reasonably priced and easy to work with. I'm so glad I found them!
