I cannot put into words how thankful I am for Dogwood Animal Hospital. My 11 year old lab was acting odd Wednesday night so I called and left a message with my concerns pleading to be squeezed into the schedule the following morning. My call was returned at 7 am and she was taken back for emergency surgery immediately. Dr. Parker saved my dogs life. She gave us more precious time with her and I can’t thank her and the staff enough. She delivered terrifying news with such care and professionalism. Without her and the fast response time from the staff along with the love and care they clearly gave my Margo she wouldn’t be laying next to me as I write this. Every time I have taken Margo for a regular check up she is greeted with so much warmth and love. You can tell that the staff and doctors truly love the patients that they see. She has never left an appointment without getting at least three hugs and a treat. I will never go to another vet! I wish I could give DAH 100 stars!

My fiance and I just recently moved to Tennessee and we know no one, so we had to take a gamble with vets. I'm VERY protective of my girls, and we've been to vets that truly didn't care about anything but the money. Two of my cats recently went in, one had an allergic reaction to bugs that the vet (I don't remember her name) diagnosed very quickly. She gave her two injections to clear it up and get her back to healthy. She was very gentle, knowledgeable, and kind to my Lucy. The second cat needed teeth removed. She is almost 10, has a murmur, and a slightly enlarged heart. I was terrified of the anesthetics. Her vet (again, I dont remember his name, either) took the time to make sure I was comfortable and made sure I knew the minute she woke up. He knew how to handle her and tooo very good care of her. The receptionists and techs are very kind and caring as well. Dogwood is definitely going to be our vet for the time we live here.

Wonderful Vet Dr. J.R. Killey, very personable and professional. I take all my pets there and my sisters and mother take their pets there as well. I’m constantly recommending them to friends and family. The best part is they are very affordable. They care more about your pets well being and health than money. I don’t know if they take payment plans, I’ve always used my CareCredit. But they don’t charge you an arm and a leg for procedures and care.

Dr. Killey is a great Vet and very kind. The staff are great and very helpful.

My first experience with Dogwood Animal Hospital was while I was in quarentine. I had a vaccinated friend bring my cat in for me. The vet called me the next day to discuss the visit and my options. They were very friendly! My cat ended up needing surgery and the prices were very reasonable considering. THEY DO ACCEPT CARE CREDIT!!! My cat ended up fine and they did a great job. They worked with me on the medications he would need and I even scheduled a follow up on my own to be safe. This is now my cats primary vet and should be yours too!

Having just recently moved to Knoxville with a 14 yr old Shih Tzu I was a bit nervous about finding a vet I could trust with my sweet old little dog. Dr. Killey is a keeper! He must be the true Dog Whisperer because he’s the only person who’s ever been able to get that little dog to willingly open her mouth. And the staff are amazing as well. Many thanks to the awesome folks at Dogwood Animal Hospital!

Our first visit today and we were impressed with the courteous and professional staff. We were concerned about our pet not being around any strange people with all the Covid restrictions and they took really good care of her and she did great.

This Hospital literally save my Great Danes life, we brought her in having severe seizures and a dangerously high fever that came on out of the nowhere at 7 am, a couple days later she is 100% back to her normal self. We are beyond bless to have found them when we did as our home Vet refused to see her and they accept her with no hesitation, upon our arrival they came out to my car and started her on medication immediately. I would recommend this facility and its amazing staff any day!!! Thank you all so much.

I had recently decided to find a new veterinarian. When my Greyhound left the nearby dog park with a minor injury, it was time to find one right then. So I asked Dogwood if they accepted new, bleeding patients. They were great, speedy and most reasonable on the cost. Thanks so much. And Scooby has his new vet!
