Took my newly acquired Pionus parrot to Dr. Bordeaux for a well-birdy /new pet checkup. Dr. Bordeaux was wonderful. The parrot felt comfortable and therefore was cooperative. Birdy had a thorough checkup including a couple of tests to make sure (among other things) his liver and kidneys are healthy. Two days later they called with more test results and to check on how the parrot is settling into his new home with me. I am very pleased. If you have a ???? parrot I highly recommend Dr. Bordeaux.

Everything was perfect and I love how you all came in frequently and checked up on him after the surgery and made sure he was well enough to leave instead of just pushing us out the door. I appreciate that most of all!

I got a Green Cheek Conure, he needed a little TLC and I wanted more information about him. I was looking for an Avian Veterinarian, and after calling 5 different places closer to my house, that would not see birds, I called Lange Animal Hospital. They got us in in a timely manner, as well as took wonderful care of my conure. I believe he was mistreated, and is very nippy, but he loved the veterinarians that helped him out. He got a check up, nail trim, bloodwork, and DNA test. They also told me that he was older than I was told he was. I would reccommend Lange Animal Hospital to anyone. It is around an hour and 25 minutes from my house and I will always go back to them for my birds needs. They were also a lot cheaper than I thought it would be.

I have recommended them to everyone I know who has primates. I could not believe the care my Gibbsie got. They were so caring. Will never go anywhere else. So glad they were recommended to me!

We had an amazing experience at Lange Animal Hospital. With our regular vet out on maternity leave, we took Bentley to Lange for a procedure. They immediately made us feel right at home. The staff was friendly, courteous and had an obvious love for their profession. Highly recommend!

This place is wonderful. Dr. Johnson is so kind and knowledgeable. Their prices are fair and wait times are usually very short or none at all. I had my dog going to another clinic who had him on several medications and vitamins. Dr. Johnson took him off all that medicine and my dog is way better and happier! The other vet was just trying to get our money and didn't care about my dogs health. I truly trust Lange's, I won't be going to another vet from now on!

You all were so kind and explained everything thoroughly. For someone new to the area with an overly anxious dog, you made us feel welcome and safe. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic first visit at Lange Animal Hospital. Facility was clean, pet-friendly, and well lit. From office staff to professionals, all were terrific. Clear instructions, good questions, obvious love of animals. Good communications and a cool app!

My family has used Lange since it was the brothers Rick and Randy my we have all grown! Dr. Wade Mylan is amazing! excellent care my parents moved here in 1973? with a dog & cat. they cared for all my animals growing up THUNDER THE WONDER DOG, Sam, Daisy. Gunner, now Trapper. my babies Fat Willie Cat, Tre, & Camo we are treated like family our fur babies are family I can't speak highly enough about everyone that works there the care is top notch absolutely wonderful the best of the best thank you for being family we love ypu!

This is a wonderful animal hospital that provides great care for our furry family members. I have been bringing my pets to Lange Animal Hospital for sixteen years and have always been more than satisfied with the service that I have received. They do more than just treat our pets, they really care and love them and go the second mile to insure their health. If I could give more than a five star review, I would give at least ten stars.

I feel like the Vets at Lange are doing everything they can to help my dog get better. They take the time to listen and they take the time to throughly explain my baby’s condition. I have a lot of confidence in the doctors at Lange.

Wonderful young rabbit experience! Dr. Burdeaux and his assistant were so helpful and kind! They provided great materials and even a little treat for my bunny! Their scheduling staff was SO kind too- great experience all around. Highly recommend!

We have a Goldfish named Bert with a swim bladder disorder. I have had aquariums for years and never though I would need a vet for one! Turns out, I was wrong. The exotic doctor was extremely informative. Answered all of our questions, walked us through the process, etc. Between him and the aid he had with the other employees we were in and out quickly but did not feel rushed. This vet is across town for us but we are highly considering switching all of our pets to their office now. Thank you all for the help!

I am so grateful to Dr. Richie for taking superb care of my cockatiel. My birdie was in dire straights due to a lung fungal infection, and when I moved to Tennessee, Dr. Richie continued his care with even more attentiveness. It’s been months of treatment and prices are very reasonable, especially in comparison to other places in the country. I would absolutely recommend anyone with a bird/parrot to Lange. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do!

Just wanted to share something that rocked my family’s world today and hope others won’t make the same mistake! This mistake we can’t fix or get a redo. It cost us the life of our 2 1/2 year old dog. Our dog was coughing blood Monday. Tests and X-rays were done but all came back “normal”. The vet didn’t show concern although he could not tell us definitively why he would be coughing blood. Instead of Looking into it further, he prescribed several different meds and some food and moved on to the next patient. He mentioned it likely being respiratory infection (although blood work normal) and prescribed cough suppressant as one med Our dog passed and was laying in a pool of blood approximately 36 hours later. Devastated doesn’t begin to describe what we are feeling. At the time of the visit, we were not happy with the vet. We did not like not having a definitive diagnosis or treatment plan for what was causing our dog to cough blood especially since our bill was close to $800. Please understand that we are not complaining about the bill but after spending that amount it wasn’t unreasonable to be upset not to have some definitive answer. My point of sharing this is to plead that when your gut tells you something is not right, listen! I wish we spoke up. I wish we had asked this vet to consult with another vet in this office. I wish we hadn’t left the vet office unsettled, but convincing ourself that this vet knows more than we do and sees it all the time. I wish we had demanded that he do a scope to see if something internal was happening. I wish he had wanted to help us figure out whether he missed something . He didn’t even do a fecal exam. I wish we asked this vet to keep him overnight for observation. But hindsight is 20/20. And the thing is the vet should have taken those initiatives! We have entrusted the owner of this vet office for 12 years. Unfortunately, the owner retired last summer but there are vets who practice out of his named vet office. I miss the owner as he provided such care to our dogs (although expensive) and we always appreciated his “bedside”manner and how he addressed our questions without rushing out to see the next patient. We noticed a different vibe when he went for his wellness and vaccinations 3 weeks ago. We wish we had listened to our gut to look for different vet instead of remaining complacent with the only vet office we knew since 12 years ago. We even tried to get names of other vets from some friends later that day! His death was tragic. This vet office knew we were hurting yet he didn’t come out to talk to me or even call to offer condolences. Just as we are the only advocates for our children, listen to your gut and advocate for your pets! Nobody else will.

So happy we found Lange. Wonderful staff who are so very caring and knowledgeable. Ruger loves going there!
