We have a old rescued lab and being deaf she has acute intuition. Since the very first day we visited, our dog has never hesitated to hop out of the car and go inside. They are timely, friendly, professional, and affordable. From the entry desk, to the vet techs and up to the doctors, our experiences here have been absolutely wonderful. They have taken excellent care of our sweet dog and mischievous cat. We drive from Lenoir City because Karns Animal Clinic is worth every mile.

Very slow service. Way to many rooms with people in each one. But not enough Dr so it was a long wait.

The staff is always courteous. The veterinarian's are always there to answer your questions. All the staff is eager and willing to help.

We brought our sweet Lulu in today with an upper respiratory infection, and she saw Dr. Powell for the first time. He was so great with her! We loved his hands-on approach. He was thorough and so sweet with her. He kept petting her the whole time he explained her plan of care. She was very comfortable with him. We have had several great experiences with Karns Animal Clinic - highly recommend them!

It's a roll of the dice. Some of the receptionists are great and friendly, others not so much.

We love this place. The doctors and staff are great and have taken great care of both our dogs and several of my friends pets, as well. We had not used them until our first dog was old and dying of kidney failure. They were so great with her, when she began having seizures and needed to be eased to sleep, they came to our van where she was cozy and in our arms. I will never forget that. Our “new” dog (she’s 7 now) has been seen there since she was a puppy, until we moved out of the area. We miss them!

The entire staff to above and beyond. They not only worked us in for an emergency (when our typical vet would not) and with only a couple of hours notice but took care of our Frenchie like he was theirs. We have found our new vet for all of our animals. I will definitely recommend everyone to them.

I had to rush my boy, Poe Dameron to Karn as he was having repeated bouts of vomiting over two days. I called Karn as I am familiar with them as Dr. Frank Davis sees my horse, Skywalker and has always been great with him. So I took my cat Poe in and they were wonderful with him. Employees were courteous and professional. They got me in and the wait was not very long. The vet was very kind to Poe and made his very worried mama(me) feel at ease. They worked within my budget so I was able to get my lil man treated. Thank you so much, Karns Animal Clinic!

Karns used to be great. We took our dog here for a few years until his health started to decline. The vet had him on many different pills and vitamins that made my dog worse. She wouldn't listen and would interrupt me while I was trying to explain what was wrong. The front desk girls are rude and the wait times were always over an hour and they forgot me TWICE. I strongly suggest a different clinic even if it's a bit more expensive. Our new vet, took him off all the meds and said he just needed to lose weight! It really seemed that they are just there to collect your money and do not care about our pets anymore.

Wonderful place for Luci. We just came from Luci's yearly check up. I believe the vet we saw is Dr Large. She was very kind and attentive to our sweet girl. We have been going to Karns Animal Clinic since we adopted Luci from SBRET in 2012. I would recommend them to all for their fur babies.

I tried to take my cat in for a walk-in clinic. A lady at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. It was so rude that it made me feel like it was racially motivated and she didn't want us there. She didn't even apologize

This use to be a good animal clinic, but they built on, and added vets that no longer care about the pets, last three times I went I seen three different ones, none wanting to take the blame for messing my perfectly healthy dog up, she was perfectly healthy but a visit to karns and she was done for, if your love your pet, never take them to this place, it’s not what it once was

I recently took in a black lab because the prior owners weren’t able to care for him and I need his vet records to see what shots he has and heartworms and MARIN refuseD to give me his records bc I’m not the original owner. This dogs has heartworms (which they didn’t test for) and needs treatment. I know I can go through with it anyway at another vet. Just crazy how inconsiderate people are. She said it was a rule but I called back and another woman answered and had no problem giving me the information.

We love Dr. Frank and Dr. Meg. They are amazing and so kind.

They are very thorough with your pets and very up-front with costs. These two have been treated there in the last couple months.

Great staff and they know what they are doing. My dog likes it there also. Can get busy but I am never waiting long

We've been bringing our 3 dogs there for a few years and are always satisfied they're being cared for by knowledgeable and truly caring veterinary professionals, docs and staff. Dr. Jessica found our senior pitbull's cancer, referred us to UTCVM, and now Athena is doing wonderfully! The office visits are affordable, and the meds are as well. I've never regretted switching vets to their practice. Very highly recommend!

The Drs are great but the front desk staff is not friendly or professional. And the wait time is unreal!! You will sit in the waiting room for a minimum of one hour before getting in a room where you will wait another hour. Not a pleasant experience.
